One airline pilot full of himself as a man, but a great pilot. I found this book interesting as an ex airline stewardess. I know things have changed drastically since I flew, but a lot of the info was far off or has in fact changed like the airline providing housing after graduation. It was also nice to see that a good woman can do wonders.
'The Damaged Pilot' was disappointing. The plot was filled with arrogance, getting over heartbreak, jealousy, an epiphany, and falling in love. Lewis and Bernadette, the protagonists, had little to no chemistry and never seemed suited for each other. However, the plot may have been better if the characters weren't so immature. I really tried to like the novella, but I didn't.
Do they hiss like cats or geese? For a short story there was a lot of hissing going on.
From how it started to assume he’d be sleeping with a different lady every night and falling in love with one of them… Well luckily that wasn’t the case but i’m not sure what over scenario would have made it better.
The way they show their feelings seemed childish.
Wouldn’t recommend.

This is a really awful book. I don’t like saying that but it was really hard to even finish it, I actually skipped over 5 chapters and looked at the ending. R. K. H.
