Sofia’s dream of moving to the United States and finding love finally comes true. Life is hard having no family or friends in a new country, but she is determined to make the best of it. Working at BTS is a dream and she loves every minute of it. Most of her coworkers are great and so is her boss, Jaxson.
He is hot, dreamy, possessive, and a Daddy. But he is off limits or so she thought. Too bad a mysterious person is threatening harm if she doesn’t stay away from him.
Jaxson, retired police officer, and club owner couldn’t help but feel a pull towards Sofia. She is sweet, caring, and everything he is looking for in a person.
She may be the Little he’s been looking for, but can he convince her to give him a chance? Will he be able to help keep her safe or will the threat push them apart?
Author This is an age play book. If you are comfortable reading about age play, ABDL, spicy scenes, discipline (including spanking, corner time, and more), then this is the book for you
Daddy’s Little Foreigner is the third installment in Everly Raine’s Missouri Daddies series. In it, she chronicles the age-play romance between Sofia Espinoza and Jaxon White. Sofia is an immigrant from Chile in America on a work VISA. She got a job as a bartender for the local town’s kink club. There she meets Jaxon, an owner and retired police officer. She works with several other bartenders and one particular one, Lucy, is hostile to her. Jaxon is attracted to her and starts woeing her into an age-play relationship. Meanwhile Sofia faces several obstacles: the Immigration service notifies her her work VISA is expiring soon and needs to be reapplied for; Lucy’s continued animosity toward her grows, she is mugged, and receives threatening notes in the employees’ locker room. She keeps a lot of her stress in and it begins to erode her health. Jaxon makes it clear he wants a DD/Lg dynamic. Will Sofia overcome her fears and insecurities and accept Jaxon as her Daddy? What will Jaxon do as the danger toward Sofia intensifies? Can he keep him safe? Will they find happiness? To find out, you must read this thoroughly entertaining age-play romance.
I applaud Ms. Raine for her outstanding writing. I appreciate her skill with literary devices such as conversation dialog and internal monologues, dual POV, and descriptive language. This plot is definitely a character driven plot as readers witness the way in which Sofia grows. I like how Jaxon is understanding, empathetic, protective, and caring as he guides her along her growth journey. I enjoyed the secondary characters like Dominic, Leo, Oliver, Ezra, Antonio, and Monty that hint to focus on subsequent books in this series. I enjoyed the suspense with the use of the antagonist who threatens Sofia’s well-being. The way these incidents were explored had me guessing as to this person’s identity. It was clever how, Ms. Raine presented the motive as one stemming from hate against immigrants, thus, making it contemporary to today’s issues. Nicely done.
1.5* That took me ages to read. Parts are good but most of it is terrible.
I keep saying that I’m not going to read this author again, then a new book comes out, and I’m back on the treadmill. The problem is that the plot sounded really good, but it’s always a huge letdown.
Sofia is a little who has come to America from Chile. The first few chapters are really sad, as she has no money and no friends. Life is very sad for her. Then she meets Jaxson one of the owners of the club where she works. Jaxson really likes Sofia, but I’ve no clue why. She lies constantly, as she doesn’t want to be a ‘bother.’She breaks the rules all the time by walking home after a late shift, when she’s not supposed to, then lies about it. She’s constantly crying because she thinks her daddy is fed up with her. Then when she’s in danger and being threatened by someone, she LIES YET AGAIN!!! It’s so frigging obvious who is threatening her, but Sofia can’t believe it was this person. She’s really shocked. 😂😂😂
I just can’t cope anymore with this author. ALL her ladies are sooooooo insecure, they never believe that the other person wants them. The baby language is so annoying, I’s not naughties isn’t a sentence I’ve ever heard a child say! Nope! That’s it for me.
This book is...maybe not my favorite story, but it's not bad. I borrowed it from Kindle Unlimited, and would mostly recommend for other fans of this genre to borrow it as well. I myself wouldn't buy it,...but there is a but involved here. I would have given this book another star except for one glaring fact; it needs another pass over by an editor. Badly. There is nothing wrong with the story itself, but every so often there will be a sentence that is written in a different tense than the rest of the story. Unfortunately, it happens with enough regularity that it is very disruptive to the narrative. It pulls you out right out of the story. It's a simple fix. I marked the passages myself pretty easily and sent them in as typos, so if someone wanted to fix it, the mistakes are highlighted by at least one person. I'm probably not the only one to do so, and those notes are available to "specialists" and publishers according to my kindle. I hope someone takes the time to fix the problems so that this book can fulfill its potential. If the typos were fixed, I'd give this story a solid 3 stars. Without the errors corrected it only gets 2.
Chilian immigrant, and bar tender, Sophia, constantly lies to ex-cop, now club co-owner, Jaxson. The plot was pretty good, but she didn't come across as an immigrant- she acted and talked like an American, and under the pretext of being shy and insecure kept lying to him over, and over, and over again. We learn nothing about her life in Chile, and they had kink clubs there? First she said she played with Daddies back home, then she says she saved all her money and barely ate, and she tells Jaxson she's never been with a Daddy before then, yes, she has been? It was confusing. The same as her getting kicked during her first attack and then getting punched and they didn't have her checked for internal bleeding, concussions, and fractures?! Jaxson wasn't a very good Daddy either, especially given he had been a cop and had seen the dregs of society. He let her get away with way too much. He was too unsure about everything and so she kept getting hurt. More alpha, please. Some grammar mistakes too. 2.5 stars.
I was looking forward to this book, but it did unfortunatly not live up to expections. There is a lot of small things that ruins the experience for me. There is just so many times a thing can be repeated before it gets boring, and here the main charaters worry about money just gets boring to read after a while. Also the Alpha here is just so weak in many ways it just don't get the vibe with book. What kind of Dom forgets aftercare?!?!? The plot is good but there is just to much description of thoughts that you almost get confused in what is said and not said. And those thoughts are repeated again and again and again! We also don't get a clear story about the main character being an immigrant to the US witch is also confusing. Could probably be about a 100 pages shorter if the auther had focused more on the plot itself. No more then 2,5 in my review.
This book was fantastic. We are introduced to Sofia who is an immigrant from Chile who moved to America in hopes for a better future. She found exactly what she needed when she started working at BTS. Jaxson was the perfect Daddy for Sofia. I don’t want to spoil all the fun in the book, but I can say that it was such a great edition to the series. I loved getting to see old friends while watching Sofia and Jaxson grow closer together. While the spice wasn’t the main part of the book, it was definitely there and I loved every second of it. I am so excited for the next book and I can’t wait to see what else Everly has in store for us.
Sofia works at Behind The Scene night club as a bartender. She is a sweet caring person. Jaxson is Sofia’s boss. A retired police officer and co- owner of the club. He is hot, dreamy and all Alpha.
Sofia and Jaxson meet , when she applies for the bartending job at Behind The Scene Club. She is a newly immigrant to the U.S. from Chile and things are rough. Incidents start happening to Sofia and escalate until Jaxson steps into help and protect Sofia.
You have to give people ( my grandparents ) who came and worked very hard And difficult, but they made it.
Sofia works at BTS night club as a bartender. She is a sweet caring person, she's new to the country, she comes from Chile. Will she find what she wishes for or more trouble where she came from. Jaxson, co-owner of BTS, where kink can find a safe place to explore their desires; he's also a retired police officer, Dominant and Daddy, can he find his forever happiness. Will trouble ruin what might be brewing, will either of them find the right path. You'll have to read to find out - there are emotions and twists everywhere. Walls to be broken down, trust to be built. Enjoy the rollercoaster.
I received this book as and ARC and right my review at my own discretion.
A wonderful read about Jason and Sophia who work together at a local BDSM Club, she is a Little that also is employed at the club behind the bar where she was to members and the little needs.
When she is attacked by a mugger who had reopened money of which she was incredibly short and often went without food, when Jason took her home to care for her and keep her .
When she is threatened they hire a body guard and only just prevent a kidnapping.
Three stars! Yes, just three! There are so many sentences that start in the past tense and change to present tense. Things like that, things that should have been caught by all those beta readers, drive me crazy! No, it cannot be blamed on the way Littles speak! The story is good. It plays to the current political attitude about immigrants. I don't know that I like the way that part of the story got dropped but I am not the author.
This is the third book in the series and is Sofia and Jaxson’s story. It is a really cute DD/lg story, very low steam and one punishment scene. The love story was enjoyable but the villain felt like an afterthought. Their actions seemed pretty extreme when compared to their motivations. It felt more like the author just wanted to give Jaxson the opportunity to rescue Sofia. Overall a good story though.
Everly pulls at my heartstrings every read!! Jaxson is an absolute rock start!! He takes Sofia his wing and helps her in ways no one ever has- Sofia is so unsure of herself and her worth but that does not last long!! If you are looking for a book with a lot of heat this isn't the one for you BUT if you looking for a book that shows how love develops, grows and shines then this is book will be your jam!!
I really enjoyed this book. Sofia was such a sweet Little it was really unfortunate that she became targeted. She also has a hard time telling the truth. She is afraid of being a burden or that she would lose her job. It took Jaxson some time to get her to tell him what was going on. I was really worked up when the bad people finally made their move. I am so glad how it all ended though.
Beautiful sweet Ddlg story of a retired police officer and a south American foreigner in search of a better life . I loved the approach to racism and hate crime and the angle of subspace, very well descripted and a very realistic example used. Despite all, these two people, beautiful people, daddy and little, fall in love with each other and want each other; it's quite the journey, but their love is worth it.
I have read the first 2 books of this series and I will say this is my favorite! I loved that Sofia is independent but also so depended on her daddy. And Jaxson being there for her even when she didn’t know she needed him! And the plot was actually good, and super easy to follow. I love the look into the new book and can’t wait.
I loved it. The dynamic between Sophia and her daddy really cute and adorable. I love how patient he was towards her. The perfect for each other She’s quite stubborn About her health. That made her Daddy more worried. I I love how the other daddies that aren’t her daddy cared for her. It was really cute to see and read the spice level.
Absolutely loved this one. Sofia had such a hard time after coming to America from Chile and her problems seem to get worse till her boss Jackson steps in to care for her. This one was super emotional. Jaxon was super sweet with her. Highly recommend this one. A++
This author is a wonderful author--her stories are so very addicting. I love how well the series flows together and just how great the author tells each story in a interesting way. Her ability to bring about the romance with the kink is just wonderful. Highly recommend this book and ALL her books.
This is definitely not my favorite of her books. There are a lot of little things that need fixing, and several places where she contradicts herself. It's a bit ain and vanilla, especially for a DD/lg story. But it's for sure readable.
This is a sweet read that pulled on my heart while reading. Sofia and Jackson have a romance with its ups and downs. There was suspense and angst along with the heat. I enjoyed how Sofia grew in her story. I'm still a bit unsure of where I stand with Jaxson. Overall that was a good read.
I love these books because there is some action or mystery, also very sexy Daddies, cute funny littles, and some sexy time. 😘 But it's not full of just sex with very little plot. And just like every story should have a HEA.
I swear this series keeps on getting better and better. I enjoyed reading about Sofia and Jaxon. The angst, the suspense, their lovey dovey relationship was simply beautiful.
More character introductions, another thrilling plot, another happy ending! I can totally see even more series branching off from this one and I’m here for it!
