A book picked up from a jumble sale for a few pence. This was a favourite of the young people in our house. It was unearthed over Christmas due to a quiz question. There are some fascinating facts in here, useful symbols for each creature shows the location they are found on the globe and a silhouette showing them next to humans. My daughter loved this one and would take it to sleepovers to share the excitingly scary comparison of a Japanese spider crab being as wide as two adults with their arms outstretched (3.7 m/ 12 feet) Great book for children interested in the natural world.

This is a good book with some facts about animals. This is perfect for young children for them to be able to find out some facts about animals. I personally loved it when I was younger.
