The book has brought an interesting perspective and multiple techniques to execute proper trading plan based on historical data and backtesting. However, the data points presented are relatively old and the strategies may not be common nowadays. Nevertheless, it is a great exposure to learn and analysis how professional traders find their signal, setup and execute their plan to be where they are today.

I took longer than expected to finish this book as the content gets slightly more dry as the chapter goes. I enjoyed the fact that each chapter of the book is pretty standalone. The earlier chapters are much more engaging as it made me reflect more about my personal self and evaluate what kind of trader I am. The later chapters related to options and volatility are more about exposure than teaching proper techniques.

A very detailed book on trading and investing. Real life pro's share their ideas, knowledge and systems. As an experienced trader myself I did not find it jam packed with new ideas but there is a healthy supply of innovative thinking. I must however note that I am not an options trader so skimmed over the chapters on option trading.
