I really liked this book and method. Focusing on how your thoughts dictate your actions/results and choosing to change your thoughts to be more in line with your goals is a continuous and fruitful work. Great suggestions for calming your body and listening to God. One pet peeve - I hate when books are formatted with 1-2 sentence paragraphs separated by spaces and bold entire sentences throughout.

I thought it was really well written and organized. It was also beautiful and pleasing to read!!! The chapters at the end I thought needed to be a bit more fleshed out as I was confused on application, but all in all was an excellent start on managing emotions/feelings with very practical Catholic mom specific examples.

I found a lot of good insight and I like the protocols for thinking through problems. I appreciate that a faithful Catholic woman found something that works for her and is sharing it with all of us. There were several typos that I felt should have been easily identified prior to publishing, and I would have liked the author to go more in depth on a few subjects. It was a good practical guide with helpful ways of thinking while including God in your every day decisions.

This is an amazing book- it’s written with a mix of compassion, helpful analogies, anecdotes, practical tools, tender care, tough love, but above all, faith in God and reliance on prayer.
A wonderful guide to help Catholic moms find peace and healing, and ultimately — calm in everyday difficult moments. Provides tools to use for the rest of one’s life, in all areas of life.
Looking forward to reading the author’s other books!

Absolute favorite book. Sterling sees too the core of motherhood, with all its pain and trials. It is so cathartic. Then after being seen, she guides with concrete steps how to claim your calm. Even with a background in psychology, Sterling taught me new things and piecesld together things I did know but in new ways. I can't recommend this book enough.

3.5 stars… I didn’t love the format (1-2 sentence paragraphs, almost felt gimmicky- there is actually a page in the middle that tells you to go to Amazon and leave a review 🤨, lots of typos too) but had some good tips and is giving me a lot to think about and review.

This book sparked some good conversations in our Church's moms group. Some of the content felt too self-help-y.
