You can tell a lot of work went into this and it's honestly very rich and interesting if a bit repetitive. Definitely recommended for spankos looking to dive into something just for them.

A few things knocked off some stars:

First the formatting-- The italicized quotes were extremely hard to read-- a different font should have been chosen because the quotes themselves were great.

Secondly, Trevor came across as really obnoxious in a lot of his stories-- very prescriptive about what things are and aren't, how certain things should be done, etc ("roleplay is not acting", for example, on the same page roleplay is described as acting.) In a book that tries to put so much focus on inclusivity, and for the most part succeeds, the know-it-all tone about things that are literally unique to each individual was very unwelcome. One of the worst things about the kink community is people trying to tell you you're kinking wrong. We all know the "that's not red enough" guy. Don't be that guy.

And lastly, in a self published book, the complete lack of knowledge regarding the thousands of self published (and trad published!) male/male spanking novels and story collections seems very odd. The opining of "Maybe one day a male/male 50-Shades-like book will be written..." What? It's been done a hundred times over, where have you been? Misha Horne? Alexis Hall? JA Rock? Care Dee? DJ Heart? RJ Moray? Shaw Montgomery? I could easily name 50 more authors without even thinking about it. Seriously, go to any online bookstore and search for male/male spanking. Seems like the results will shock you.

So much effort went into researching so many things, but the online and literary references were definitely extremely outdated. Not even a mention of A03? Seriously? There's a big world for you guys to explore lol.

Still, a thoroughly entertaining book.
