Fantastic sci fi adventure

I have reread/skimmed Talon, AD more times than I can count since it was released. I was beyond thrilled to see book 2 had been published. AD was written first person POV, mostly from AD's perspective. Q-10 is still first person but has multiple POVs for the excellent reason that one person's POV wouldn't have worked. The multiple POVs give great insight into some of my favorite characters. The worldbuilding is believable and excellently done. The body count is nightmarish but realistic, since the story is about an attempt to take over a planet (I admit the violence is disturbing, but the story is just so incredible). The warbots might be better named "comrades in arms" and are often hilarious, which adds needed comedic relief to a grim story. The goats are priceless and quite goaty. A mystery appears; who is that voice? The story is heartbreaking, thrilling, horrific, heartwarming, enthralling, and so very good. Unfortunately, the preview of book 3 had me laughing and then screaming in horror. At least, I have 2 unbelievably awesome books to reread while I wait for the next one.
