No one guy has ever grabbed my attention, but three guys have. It wouldn’t be an issue if they weren’t my brother's best friends - and I have been crushing on them since I was a kid . . .
Now, I’m eighteen and my feelings haven’t changed. Too bad they don’t feel the same way. Or so I thought. Then one night, they asked me to play truth or dare .
Jake The entrepreneur about to take over his dad’s company. Everything about him is sexy, even how he grazes his hand across my thigh.
Rex The football player. He has the body of a linebacker and the kindest heart. Whenever I am upset, he is the first one there. Of course, I fell for him.
Matty: The genius. For someone who graduated high school at fourteen, you would think he would take life seriously. He doesn’t. He is the one who always wants to play a game.
This book is a fast paced why-choose brothers best friend quick read.
During my read through I spotted only a few typos and one or two spelling errors. Nothing super major. The only thing was the dialogue was a little hard to follow. It felt very forced and awkward at times. I found myself feeling disconnected and having to re-read lines several times to fully understand.
Minimal spice. I would give it maybe a 1.5 on that scale. There was also a scene where one of the MMCs describes a time when he knew he liked the FMC. He was 17 and she was 15, but the way she was described made me cringe out of my skin. I really did not enjoy reading about a 15 year olds breasts even in a quick mention.
The characters themselves were just alright. I wouldn’t consider any of them particularly lovable. The FMC was not a good friend and a little irritating at times. I don’t know how we went from ‘little sis’ to ‘I love you’. Something else I noticed about them is that the MMCs were supposed to be 20, but they all acted like they were way older. That made me have a pretty extreme disconnect from the story.
One of the MMCs is a super genius but even the explanation of how he was so young and got a job as a professor at Harvard made no sense to me.
Their first actual sex scene was confusing for me because she was a virgin up until this point, it was brought up a few times. When they did the deed there was no mention of that and the way it played it did not read as someone losing their virginity (in both holes).
Overall I couldn’t really get into this book and it ended up being a tough read for me. I received this book as a free ARC in exchange for my honest review.

A “light hearted why choose” - this book had a couple typos, several grammar issues, and overall poor writing. The dialogue was probably the worst part, making everyone sound either way too old or way too young, but was oddly formal and stilted in the best of times. The first scene with the fmc helping herself out 😜 just read as icky. None of this read like an 18 year old losing her v, especially going with double penetration??? Overall, I won’t be reading more from this author as I got major cringe and ick.

This was a cute storyline, I always love a forbidden brothers best friends. This is a lighthearted RH, Mel and her brothers 3 best friends. I will say I was a bit confused and struggled with the FMC loosing her virginity. First of all none of the guys knew but then they also did DP? I’m pretty sure you don’t lose your virginity in both holes the same time and enjoy it but maybe. However, the spice between them was good throughout the book! I am invested in her brother and best friend Sammy now, I hope we see more of them soon!
This book was so good! Loved how they guys took care of Mal! ❤️
Mal is in love with her brother’s 3 best friends. She is forbidden to date any of them because her brother always told her to stay away (he knew she was crushing on them forever). Mail works at a dinner and is trying to go to cosmetology school.
Rex is a really good Football player and is about to go to Florida to play after the summer. Matty is a super genius who is going to Harvard to become a teacher. Jake is supposed to go work for his dad’s company. All three of them want her but they were told to stay away from Mal also. So they decided to play play their favorite game with her secretly.
Fluffy, simple, not stress inducing contemporary. Just the pallette cleanser my brain needed. It was short and sweet (though more spice from their month long interludes would have been nice) and didn't turn into a 22 book long series with fire and death. So bonus points!!!
The easy solutions for the end of summer were pretty obvious to me, but I know there had to be some kind of hurdle for the characters to get over.

This was such a fun and enjoyable read! Their Favorite Game releases today! It is available in KU. This is my first book by Callie and I really enjoyed it. I definitely will be reading more of her books.
This was such a cute storyline. I always love a good forbidden, why choose, brother’s best friends romance. This story is told in a multi pov which I loved!
Mel has always had a crush on her brother's three best friends, Rex, Jake, and Matty. She thinks they only see her as their friend's little sister, but she is in for a surprise this summer. I love the dynamic in their relationship.
We had our laughable moments, swooned with the swoons, a had a head tilt or two as we took turns following along with the ups and downs of this read.
If you want a story you don't have to take too seriously, and has a good few 'aw, cute' moments, this one is a good place to start. It's giving tropes, to tropes, to tropes.
I just wanted to start this review saying that I was very kindly given a copy of this ARC to review. I’m a big fan of why choose stories and often find myself straying towards that trope. I mean why not? A woman can have whatever she wants, right? Well, that wasn’t the case to begin with for Malory in this quick read. From a young age she finds herself enamoured by her brother’s three best friends and evidently they have felt the same way all along. Now all they have to do is get over the problem of the “brother”.
I enjoyed this book although it had its ups and downs (and perhaps a little bit too much repetition) along the way. I would have loved a longer story, this really could have been double the length it was, and it’s a shame, the shortness ended up making it a bit predictable.
I was lucky enough to grab an ARC copy of this book to review. It was such a sweet contemporary book. It's a slow burn, brothers best friends why choose. The FMC has this aura of innocence around her and obviously only has eyes and feelings for her brothers best friends. It was nice to read something with no violence and something that isn't dark. It was such a quick read and if like me you sometimes need something sweet and fluffy to read in-between then this is definitely for you.
It reads like it was written by an eighth grader that spent way too much time on wattpad. I wanted to like it, but looks like I have to accept that in life we can't always get what we want.
Their Favourite Game was a super sweet love story between Mal and her brother's three best friends. Personally, I found it leaned more towards a YA/NA book with some spice included, and I think that's because some of the thoughts and actions were a little on the juvenile side, but then they are all young adults (college age, not minors).
I loved the way Mal was with the guys, and I found it interesting that the author pointed out they'd secretly all had feelings for her since they were much younger and had tried to protect her from her big brother, their best friend, who used to bully and belittle her. I have to say I wasn't overly keen on Frankie (the brother); his character seemed to be unnecessarily snappy and mean, and there was never any reason given for it, yet everybody supported him and wanted to go along with his rules regarding his sister because they respected him.
The author made sure there were plenty of stolen moments between Mal and the guys, both as a group and one-on-one, and there was a great mixture of wooing with special dates and then some dirty foreplay moments. It was a fast-paced story despite lots of self-doubt, but I would have loved to have seen some of the other sideline relationships explored in more detail. Especially Sammy's relationships, as she was a good friend who liked to hook up, and I think she has the potential to be a main character in her own right.
I love all things written by Callie Sky, and this was no exception! The title is what captured me and I’m so glad it did. Mal, the FMC, had a crush on her brother’s best friends since she was a little kid. She knew they were off-limits, but that didn’t stop her from dreaming. The three MMC, also felt that pull to her but since this was their best friend’s little sister, they ignored their feelings out of respect. Now everyone is grown up and about to move on to the next chapters in their lives; however, a wrench is thrown into their plans (aka truth or dare) which turns their little crush into something more. I loved the dynamics. Three men, who are all so different but work so well together. Mal is more on the quiet/innocent side, but add in Sammy, her sex crazed BFF, and she starts to let loose. Watching Mal embrace her fantasy while reading the POVs of all the men, really added to the growth of their relationship. This story mixes a forbidden romance with a spicy reverse harem. If you haven’t added it to your TBR, you should definitely do so now!
Overall a good pallet cleanser book. With a sweet girl next door FMC. Why choose. On a spice level I give it 🌶️🌶️.5 out of 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ out of ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I wish there was more backstory to some of the characters.
The bestie got a main spotlight that at times took over the story.
I noted that there was mention of another authors book which is not uncommon. I just felt overly pushed to go read that story and not finish the book I was reading. I understand a sponsorship could be taking place and the author had to put it in a certain amount of times but it was a tad overkill.
I felt that certain chapters were better and definitely kept me wanting to read. There were other chapters though that felt lazily written or written in haste.
I had noted 36 “mistakes” if you will including continuity issues, spelling mistakes, quotation errors and sentence restructuring or deleting needing to take place.
* I received this book as a free ARC in exchange for my honest review.*
Wish we could do half stars, I would have given 3.5!!!
Mal has been crushing on her brother Frankie’s 3 best friends- Rex, Mattie and Jake- since they were little kids, always wanting to be with them hanging out, although her brother was against it. Her crushes continue into her becoming an adult. As Mal is still a V, it was hard to believe that her first time she was with all three men and DP. Once everything was out and Frankie knew, there was a twist thrown in about Mals father was sneaking around with Jakes mom. I couldn’t wrap my head around how she wouldn’t have seen this as it is said he is never home, how wouldn’t she notice him across the street. It was also hard to believe that once Mals father found out he was content about her being with all three guys.
Over all I enjoyed the majority of this, although I feel this story had so much potential that could have made it more enjoyable. They was minimal spicy scenes and they seemed to be a little far fetched to be believable such as her first time. If she wasn’t a V then that scene would have been 🔥🔥! Would love to see a future book of them once they lived together for a while!

Please read the trigger warnings!!! What happens when you are in love with your brothers best friends? Not one..or two but all three of them? Your brother has told you for years that you need to stay away from them...and for the most part, you do, but there's still apart of you that is miserable because y'all aren't together. that's Mal's dilemma, she's always had a crush on Jake, Rex and Matty. She sees what amazing guys they are..but they are leaving after the summer and she has to decide if she will continue to listen to her brother or go after what she wants in life..and what will she do, when she finds out her brother has told the guys to stay away from her because he realized they all 3 liked her too??
This was a fun and fast read. There was a bit of a slow burn in a faster pace that was really interesting. I thought it was so fun how the three guys all hard been lusting after Mal when she had been pining away for them. I think that helped a lot with moving the story forward at the pace it was going. There are certainly things that are predicable and expected to be so in order to maintain the story. There are certain assumptions in conversations that have occurred, again as this is mostly from Mal's POV there are silent conversations that happen between the guys. I thought this was a great quick and spicy style read for me.
Mal has been in love with not one but all three of her brothers best friends, Jack, Rex and Matty. After all three announce that they will be leaving town for various reasons they also finally let Mal know that they are into her as well. The four of them spend the summer sneaking around with each other behind her brothers back. What happens when summer ends and the guys all leave? Does her brother find out their secret? Will they get their happy ever after? You'll just have to read to find out!
This book had a slow start but once you got a chapter or two into it things started to flow nicely. The characters were fun to watch grow and develop. I loved that every single boy in her life was so protective of her and watchful of her allergies. They were all unique and well written. The plot was fun and exciting. The development of both plot and characters was amazing. The flow and pace had some issues in my opinion but still a good book. I would love to see what happens with some of the side characters and get more on these characters!
Their Favorite Game is a cute stand alone, that is told from a multi POV. This RH story stars Mal, who is the sweet little sister of Frankie. Of course she has her eye on his three best friends. And this is the main premise of the book. They have the summer to figure things out before each of the guys is leaving. Will she make them see her as more than Frankie's little sister or will she be left pining her them?
Warning there is a part of this story that focuses on the loss of a parent. It sets the dynamic between the siblings and their dad. It also helps explain some of the push and pull between all of them.
Mal is in love with her brother's three best friends and has the summer before they move to make the most of it. Rex the footballer, Matty the braniac who loves to cook, and Jake who plays the guitar and proposes a game of truth or dare..their favorite game.
Overall a really quick cute read, with tons of spice!!
Spice rating 4/5 Plot rating 4/5
There were some continuity errors, her talking about being a virgin, then all of the sudden not? And a few grammatical and spelling errors, but it was minimal and I could still easily read it.

Great, quick read. Brothers best friends contemporary romance.
Jake, Rex and Matty are Frankie’s best friends and they have cared for Mal for years. She is the one for them. Mal has dreamed of them individually and all together for years but never done anything about it. Sammy (her best friend) encourages her to go for it.
This is a good read for a palette cleanser. Light on romance and not too much spice. I would have loved more depth and background and I am hopeful that we get to read Frankie’s story.
I really wanted to love this book. It had potential but it just gave Wattpad vibes. It was a quick read and I love why choose books and it’s a bonus that the MMCs were the FMCs best friends.
I would have liked an epilogue.
I think younger people may like this better. Personally I like my MMCs older lol but that’s just me
I’m intrigued by the relationship between the FMCs brother and the her best friend. I really hope they end up together in the future. I’d like to hear more about their story and hopefully they have a HEA.
Their Favorite Game by Callie Sky is a feel good, romantic brothers best friends next door story. We meet Mal, a young lady who lives with her older brother. He brother has had Matty, Jake, and Rex as best friends for forever. Mal has always crushed on them and Frankie has made the guys promise to never even look at his sister sideways. That all changed the summer she turned 18. Sweet story. No bullying. No OW drama. Spicy. Loved how good the guys are with Mal. Love Mal's best friend too! Everyone needs a good wing woman!
Just why? As someone with an older brother, I can guarantee that if he caught me in bed with 'THREE' of his best mates he still wouldn't be talking to me or his friends. I know these troups are sort of after but three of your brother's BFFS seems a bit of a stretch. (I don't even mind these troups, but this just didn't work for me) In the scenes in the book where they are very public and no doubt very loud who on earth did NO-ONE come to find out or look through a window? there were great parts in the book and 100% should come with a warning saying tissues needed.
I’m not gonna lie, this book wasn’t a terrible read but I wouldn’t say it’s a good one. The plot was decent but I’m the type of person who loves drama in books so when the brother easily accepted how they’re all dating after a small blow up I didn’t enjoy it. I found that the plot was fast paced and almost rushed and some moments were awkward.
I couldn’t really connect with the characters apart from little bits with the MFC and the MFC’s friend Sammy.
I wouldn’t recommend this.
⭐️⭐️ 2 stars due to it not being terrible but not good either.
I read this book as an early ARC reader as part of submitting an honest review. This book is very well written with lots of spice and interesting characters. It is an easy read. I loved the dynamic between the main character and her three men. It encompasses the innocence of being young and is refreshing to just read a book about that with no violence or dark scenes. I highly recommend this book! The spice scenes are well thought out, creative and very hot, loved them!
It was a quick and easy read, so it easily kept my attention. We get two of my favorite tropes, why choose and brothers best friends. There was a bit of drama, humor and a little spice.
Mal has had a crush on her brother's friends, Jake, Rex, and Matty. She thinks they only see her as a kid or little sister. Well, she's in for a surprise and it may a start with a little game.
Overall, I enjoyed it. It was a short and fun read!
I don't easily lose myself in books but I have lost myself in all of Callie Sky's books. They are the perfect combination of escapism and hot romance. I also appreciate that she puts her readers first by putting trigger warnings in her books. I usually only get these types of books in digital form but these are definitely worthy to be in my physical bookshelf.
I really liked this book! I’ve ready other reverse harems and this one was totally unique, which I liked! I loved Mal, the main female character :) Also Sammy was unhinged and I love every minute of her. She was iconic and I loved that she was just unapologetically herself.
Highlights: Multi POVS, HEA, easy to read, spice, great side characters, and unique
I have received this ARC for an honest review, all thoughts/ opinions above are my own.
It was a short and light book. I finished it in less than a day, the perfect book to read during a trip. The storyline was pretty good. It’s obvious that it all happens out of a sudden since it’s a short book. It was the first book that I’ve read with a reverse harem and I think is not something I love. But I think I’ll try to read some more just to understand if these kind of books are my type of book or not. I wish there was more about Sammy and Frankie, maybe their own book.
Short and sweet. Enjoyed this story. Gave 4 stars as I thought it could have been a little longer and foe me some parts felt unresolved (Frankie, Sammy). Didn't see the plot twist with Mal's dad at the end. That was surprising. I could have kept reading and wanted to keep reading their story, what happens with and between them all.... Apart from all that, it was a great story.
