Sherlock Holmes: A Tradition of Evil

Rate this book
CORRUPTION AT THE VERY HEART OF LAW ENFORCEMENT!

The body of a young woman is found on a park bench, the victim of foul play, all but in the shadow of the Tower of London. When SHERLOCK HOLMES takes the case, the police are oddly reluctant to assist, denying the great detective access to the victim's file and body.

Cryptic messages begin to arrive at 221B Baker Street, warning of great danger and a greater conspiracy. As Holmes and Watson delve deeper into the mystery, an invisible web of extortion and blackmail at the highest levels of government and law enforcement is laid bare.

Mike Adamson's debut novel is a shocking tale of corruption, with a gripping climax pitting SHERLOCK HOLMES against a criminal mastermind in a race against time!

Very Well Done

I would definitely rank Mike Adamson as a masterful Sherlock Holmes writer!
This was SO GOOD!
Impeccably researched, action and intrigue, beautifully written, Conan Doyle's characters are wonderfully preserved in all their glory and come together to bring down a ruthless enemy.
A tragic murder gains the attention of Sherlock Holmes to a wider conspiracy masquerading as the good guys. The depth of evil will force Holmes and Watson to take drastic measures, testing their endurance for the sake of Justice.

Quiet hard look at the times

Sherlock and Watson trying to be men who brought light and deep humanity to hard times and a corrupt system. The times horrible. The mystery unfocused amidst terrible times.
