Can a city girl with secrets and a small-town heartthrob find lasting Rocky Mountain Love?

When city-slicker Lily finds herself catapulted into the untamed wilderness of Breckenridge, Colorado, she’s suddenly knee-deep in rugged construction workers and emotional avalanches.

Enter Wyatt, the local heartthrob. He loves his Bernese mountain dog, his hometown, and anything smothered in chocolate.

The attraction between them is instantaneous . . . and undeniable.

But when his small town's character is threatened, Wyatt is determined to save it from the big-city corporate vultures.

Soon, Lily is torn between sealing the deal of a lifetime and following her heartstrings.

Will she choose the concrete jungle or trade her power suits for some seriously stylish flannel?

I've read a couple books by this author and find myself eagerly waiting for the next one to come out. I enjoy her characters and always seem to get a crush on the male protaganist! I particularly appreciate the clean language and decency of the characters, esp in today's dark world. Breckinridge, CO was the setting in Soaring Hearts, which is a nice change from the many books that glorify the Big Apple! Much of the feeling of the story revolved around "Breck," and the people relationships were intertwined with its natural beauty. The plot was immediately engaging with a lot of humor and just enough steaminess without being graphic. There was one minor event that I thought was contrived (no spoilers!), but it didn't affect my enjoyment of the book at all.
I've hit a rough patch in my life, and this uplifting read was just what the doctor ordered. A delightful read!

This book gave me all the warm fuzzies and I totally fell in love with the story and the characters. 😍😍😍 I loved all the sweet moments and how there was some conflict mixed in too. I felt like I was reading a script for a Hallmark movie, which made me love it even more. The instant attraction between Wyatt and Lily is so strong. I loved all of their interactions and how they just kept running into each other. It was so clear that they were meant to be right from the start even though several obstacles were threatening to keep them apart. You also get to meet several side characters that added another fun and entertaining layer to the story. Be sure to add this lovely book to your TBR if you love a sweet, clean romance!

Wyatt and Lily
Town of Breckenridge -mountain town,
Property Development company, new shopping mall, towns people against
Secrets—recipe for hurt feelings, can we please tell the truth?

This book felt very much like a hallmark movie. Big city girl goes to small town to push the agenda from her job’s corporate agenda. Small town guy pushes back against the big bad company. Meanwhile, girl and boy fall in love. Surprise, surprise—lies and secrets cause rift. Who will win out? Will they be star crossed lovers? How can their love survive?

I won’t spoil it.

Romance PG. I like hallmark movies. I liked these characters. I liked Breckenridge. Can’t justify more than 3 stars but I found it enjoyable.

Lily and Wyatt are so instantly in love as soon as they lock horns . She’s used to a concrete jungle and he’s a small town man with a mountain of heart for protecting it . Hearts will soar reading this cute romantic comedy . Ellie is a great writer with a style that has you feeling like you’re in the story . I can’t fault a thing this writer has put a pen to

This story was absolutely adorable! Loved Lily and Wyatt, they were well written characters and had amazing chemistry.
As Lily spends more time in Breckenridge, she starts to feel like she belongs. Will she go back to the city or stay?

I don't know if I would call this frenemies to lovers.
Some parts of this threw me out of the book like when two adults laughed so hard at someone saying a burger looked like a horse that tears streamed down both their faces.
This was a little predictable but not in a bad way.

Lily and Wyatt are such opposites. These two are great. I loved the angst and the romance. It was a great story that I really enjoyed.
