USA Today bestselling author Debbie Mason takes another trip to Sunshine Bay with a heartwarming story about a family, romance, and self-discovery.
Nothing gets Willow Rosetti down. She adores everything about her life in Sunshine Bay, particularly the close proximity to her beloved family and her job as a meteorologist. So when she finds out Channel 5 may close and she and her coworkers will be out of work, she goes behind her family’s back to call her estranged aunt, a famous actress. Willow has never met her aunt and has no idea why her family disowned her, but she’s hopeful Camilla can deliver the ratings they need to convince Noah Elliot, the station’s gorgeous and grumpy owner, to save Channel 5.
When Camilla Monroe learns her niece Willow is trying to contact her, she fears the worst—that her secret has finally come out. Distracted, she doesn’t see the e-bike in the road. Now a case of amnesia has Camilla back in Sunshine Bay, and she’s getting Willow into one mess after another. With a little bit of scheming and a whole lot of heart, this unlikely duo might just have the summer of a lifetime, saving the station, healing their fractured family, and even paving the way for love.
Debbie Mason is the USA Today and Publishers Weekly bestselling author of the Christmas, Colorado series and the Harmony Harbor series. The first book in her Christmas, Colorado series, “The Trouble with Christmas,” was the inspiration for Hallmark’s “Welcome to Christmas.” Her books have been praised by RT Book Reviews for their “likable characters, clever dialogue, and juicy plots.” When Debbie isn’t writing, she enjoys spending time with her family in Ottawa, Canada.
Three Little Wishes by Debbie Mason Sunshine Bay series #2. Contemporary family drama and romance. Can be read as a stand-alone. Willow Rosetti loves her hometown of Sunshine Bay. Sure, she may be the laughingstock of the Channel 5 crew but she admits the blooper reel of her mishaps is pretty funny. But the station is being shut down and she’ll do whatever she can to save everyone’s jobs. Having her famous aunt make an appearance may be just the ticket. Unfortunately her aunt was in a minor accident and Cami thinks she’s 17 again instead of 47. It’s up to Willow to care for Cami and get the family together only when the time is right. In the meantime, Willow finds out the station owner, Noah, was her best friend one summer long ago. She might be able to convince him to help save the broadcast company. A little help from Cami and Noah’s 15 year-old sister and Willow can change the future of Channel 5.
Sweet and filled with small town vibes and all the family love and drama you’d expect. Willow is an optimist and willing to spread the love and joy. It’s no wonder everyone, including Noah, falls in love with her. She’s the sparkle and the glue of Sunshine Bay. Lots of smiles, a few happy tears and the hea you need.
This book is so well written. It made me laugh. It had sad moments. And in my opinions, that’s a sign of a well written book!
This is a second chance romance between Willow , Rosetti and Noah. Many years ago Willow and Noah had a summer crush. He was from that time on referred to as her summer Noah.
So here we are now! Willow loves her hometown of Sunshine Bay. She also loves her job at channel 5 news. She is the weather person and as much as she loves her job, she is not happy with how she hast to deliver it. But that being said she will do anything to save channel 5 for herself and her crew. She is very surprised to find out that it’s her summer Noah that she has to convince not to sell the station.
Willow has an idea that involves her aunt who is an actress to come and help save the station. However, her aunt Cami gets in an accident and even though she’s 47 she has amnesia and thinks she’s 17. This part of the story is just hysterical!
Noah came to town on business to sell the station and the summer house. He brings along his sister Riley who is 15 and her and Cami become best friends.
There is a lot of family drama, friendship, and so very much more. Five stars is not enough to give this book! Laugh at times and tear up at other times in my opinion is a sign of a well written book. Debbie Mason definitely outdid herself on this one.
I was asked to read this book by Debbie and give my honest opinion.
Willow Rosetti, resident weather person of Sunshine Bay, never lets anything get her down. She is a force of positivity, even when things aren't going well. For her, nothing could be better than living near her family in Sunshine Bay and working her dream job at Channel 5. Unfortunately, Channel 5 is set to be closed down, and Willow has to take drastic measures to save her job. She calls up her estranged movie star aunt behind her family's back. Upon hearing from Willow, Camilla fears that her long held secrets have finally come to light, and gets into an accident from the shock. Now facing amnesia, Willow has to find a way to manage her aunt who thinks she is a teenager again without her family finding out, save everyone's jobs, and maybe even fall in love.
I was so excited to return to the heartwarming town of Sunshine Bay! This story was a bit chaotic in the best way (I mean, how can it not be when your 47 year old aunt has a case of amnesia that makes her think she's 17 again?). The supporting cast of characters (shoutout Amos) were so lovable and really made it feel complete. I loved Willow and Noah's reconnection after so many years, and I just adored Riley. While I didn't find this story to be as relatable, it was still so fun to get lost in this world. Debbie Mason really writes the most charming quintessential small-town romances.
Thank you to Debbie Mason, Forever (Grand Central Publishing), and NetGalley for the advanced digital copy in exchange for my honest review. This one is due to be published May 7, 2024.
Willow Rosetti loves her life as a weather person at Channel 5. She good-naturedly dresses as a lobster and finds herself in one mishap after another. With the closing of the station looming, she calls her famous aunt Cami to help although she has long been estranged from the family. Cami is so surprised she doesn't see the e-bike in time and suffers amnesia from the accident. Cami thinks that she is 17 years old and brings one mishap after another to Willow. Noah, the grumpy station owner, turns out to be a friend from the past and they quickly discover their love for each other. Willow helps Noah renew his relationship with his little sister Riley and they work together to try and mend the family. When the past comes to light, it causes even more heartache for Willow's family and her relationship with Noah. This was a wonderful story about family, love and forgiveness. I received an advance copy of this book from NetGalley for my honest review and I highly recommend this book.
This was a great story of family and love. Willow is part of a big three generational Italian family. They cook together, they eat together, they love together. There's also romance between Willow and Noah, who has come to shut down Willow's beloved new station.
Noah's family is much smaller. He and his much younger sister are in Sunshine Bay for the summer. She's your average moody teenager, and he's totally out of his element in trying to deal with her. Willow may be able to help them close that gap.
There is plenty of humor in the story. Picture poor Willow being required to do her weather report wearing a lobster suit, or her 47 year old aunt believing and acting like she's 17 years old!
This was a fun, romantic read with character development that carried the story forward.
Thanks to NetGalley and Forever Publishing for the book. All thoughts are my own.
Very good and well rounded book. Multiple fun stories that become serious and bring family together. I loved the love story between Willow & Noah and how his little sister was a part of it. It was also funny to see all the crazy stuff Cami, the older aunt got up to while she had amnesia after an accident and thought she was 17 again, I promise you will laugh, be irritated with some family members and find joy if you read this book.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for allowing me to read this ARC.
I read it in two readings. I received a gift of the ARC from the author. As usual, Debbie Mason does not disappoint. I loved the family. The story is a family estranged and daughter Willow decides to help mend fences and at the same time get her estranged aunt's help in saving her beloved Channel 5 where she is the weather girl and all around keeps everything moving. What she doesn't know is she is about to reconnect with a teenage crush and open up family secrets 25 years old. Loved the relationships and the quick chatter. I can't wait for Sage and Gia's storyl
Many thanks to NetGalley and Forever for the advanced copy in exchange for a honest review. Willow Rossetti loves her life as a weather person on channel 5. She good natured and dress as a lobster and finds her self in one mishap after another. When she gets word that the station may close, she reaches out to her estranged aunt, a famous actress she’s never met. When Camilla Monroe learns her estranged niece is trying to contact her, she fears the worst. With the two of them coming together, can they save the station or will it end in utter disaster? I really enjoyed this book
I don’t know how Debbie Mason does it, but she creates such unique characters, and they are just so likeable, you can’t help rooting for them - and Willow is no exception! Willow grew up in Sunshine Bay and has no desire to ever leave- she loves her job as a weather girl at the local TV station, even though she doesn’t seem particularly good at forecasting the weather. People tune in to watch her weather predictions because something outrageous always seems to happen to her. Things are changing, as the owner of the local station plans to close it down by the end of summer, and Willow is on a mission to change his mind. She becomes even more hopeful when she discovers that she has a link to Noah, the current owner.
But this book isn’t just about Willow - it is also about her aunt Cami who has been estranged from the family for 25 years, who now has amnesia and is stuck at the age of 17 (what could go wrong there?). It is about Noah and his sister Riley, who are reconnecting again on a different level, since their Mother’s passing 15 months prior.
The past and the present crash into each other in a spectacular way, and the Rossetti family will never be the same again! I binged this book on one day because I couldn’t wait to see what happened next - 5 stars!
I received a copy of this book through NetGalley; all opinions are my own.
Thanks Netgalley for allowing me to read this book. Williw is going through a little rough patch at work. She is hoping her family can help her through it. This book lagged at times.
Debbie Mason takes readers back to Sunshine Bay and the Rosetti family with a new tale filled with unexpected twists, long-held secrets, laugh-out-loud humor, and heart-tugging emotion. It's everything I expect - and enjoy - when reading a Mason novel.
I love the dynamics among the women in the Rosetti family - the focal point of this series - the complex relationships, the layers within each of the women, the steadfast bonds among Willow and her two cousins, and the unexplained estrangement among their grandmother, mothers, and aunt. Mason took time to give each character the attention and development they deserved. That also included Noah and his teenage sister, Riley. In fact, the relationship between by-the-book, 15-year-old Riley and mischievous, 40-something Cami (who, because of amnesia, thinks she's 17 for the first half of the book) was one of my favorite parts.
Willow and Cami are the Rosetti women who evolved the most in this book. I appreciated the complexities of each of their situations as well as their places within the Rosetti family. Or, in Cami's case, outside the family. I really enjoyed watching the growth of both of these women; with Cami as she worked to mend the rift between her, her sisters, and her mother and with Willow as she worked to find her calling and prove her worth. One of the facets of Mason's writing that I especially enjoy is her willingness to dig deep into emotionally fraught and thought-provoking situations.
The romantic relationship between Willow and Noah is also an important part of this book and one that I enjoyed. Mason is so good at threading together multiple relationships in her books without causing confusion or sacrificing the importance of any one singular relationship. Whether it's friends, co-workers, siblings, mothers and daughters, other extended family, or romantic couples, each gets the attention it deserves and each has the necessary thread to form a complete tapestry. Things got pretty messy at times (just like real life) and there were places in the book where I had no clue how it would all work out - for any of the characters - but, of course, Mason guided them expertly forward to a heartfelt, believable conclusion with laughter and tears along the way. I'm already looking forward to whatever she has planned for this family next.
Three Little Wishes can be read as a standalone but for a deeper understanding of the dynamics of the Rosetti family, I would recommend reading book one, Summer on Sunshine Bay, first.
4.5 stars
ARC received from publisher via NetGalley. Fair and unbiased review.
Three Little Wishes is the second in the Sunshine Bay series but can be read as a stand alone however I suggest reading the previous book for the entertainment a little secondary character background. Willow Rosetti is the weather girl for Channel 5 in Sunshine Bay as well as a people person who makes everyone smile. Now that her station is in danger of closing and her many friends potentially losing their jobs, she has a plan to get the CEO of the broadcasting company to give them time to find a buyer. Walking back to the station, she is drenched by a speeding car who doesn't even acknowledge what he has done but when she sees the car in the parking lot she confronts the driver. Noah is working to dissolve the family business now that his mother has passed away so that he can fulfill a childhood dream of traveling around the world. As he is sitting in his car taking a call, he is confronted by a very wet woman in a lobster costume who is yelling about him speeding and splashing her. During their second encounter in which Willow, who happens to waitress in her family restaurant, attempts to get her friend to delay listing Noah's properties so that she can put her plan into action she is stunned to realize this is her crush Noah from her teen years. As they begin reconnecting, she receives a call that her aunt has been in an accident and now has amnesia. Since Noah is driving to New York to deal with his sister who showed up at his apartment after running away from her father, he agrees to drive Willow but also informs her that he is not changing his mind about the closing. Willow takes on the challenge of saving her job, reconnecting brother and sister as well as reconnecting her estranged aunt with the family. The story that follows is a well written, free flowing story with a range comedic events, sad situations, secrets revealed and a wonderful array of characters that make you want to climb into the book and join the family.
I received an advance reader copy from the publisher but all thoughts and feelings are my own.
Three Little Wishes by Debbie Mason, book two in the Sunshine Bay series, is a wonderful story about family, love and forgiveness. Willow Rossetti loves her home town of Sunshine Bay and never wants to leave. She loves her and will do everything she can to save Chanel 5 TV network where she works as the weather girl. She will dress up in any costume they put her in and do the forecast in any weather, despite the outrageous things that always seems to happen to her. Willow is on a mission to convince the owner, Noah Elliott, not to close down the station by the end of summer and becomes even more hopeful when she discovers that she has a link to Noah.
Part of Willow’s plan to save the station involves contacting her estranged famous Aunt Cami and getting her to town. She has no idea how her mother and grandmother will react to this, but she will even take their wrath to save the network. What Willow didn’t expect was Cami having an accident, and waking up with amnesia believing she is 17 and wanting to see her family, unaware of their estrangement. There are lots more family secrets in the Rossetti family that will impact more than them when they come to light. The past and the present crash into each other in a spectacular way, and the Rossetti family will never be the same again.
Ms. Mason wrote a wonderful, humorous, moving, heartfelt story with some major twists that should not be missed. Filled with the wonderful characters in the Rossetti family and their friends. There was definitely some laugh out loud moments in this book, with Willow, Camie and Riley getting into some situations. Then there’s the handsome Noah who even though he tries, cannot stay away from the lovely and beautiful Willow; this two are magic together. I’m looking forward to the next Rossetti's book to see what happens in Sunshine Bay.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book. #NetGalley #Forever

I am looking forward to reading more books by Debbie Mason. I received a complimentary copy of this book and was not required to give a positive review. All thoughts are my own. This was a story about family, love and forgiveness.
Another fabulous book in the Sunshine Bay series! Willow Rossetti is just one of the many passionate Rossetti heartbreakers. Willow is a gentle loving soul who will do anything to keep her beloved Channel 5 news on air, including dressing in ridiculous costumes. Willow is devastated to learn her beloved station is being sold and shut down, so she starts a campaign to convince their new boss not to sell or shut them down. When Willow finds out she has a childhood connection to the new boss, she is more determined than ever to save her station and her friend’s jobs. Noah is an uptight grumpy man who is tasked with getting rid of his ties to Sunshine Bay since the memories of his mom are too painful, and getting his younger sister out of the trouble she finds herself in. He is happy to reconnect with his childhood friend Willow, but unwilling to change his plans for the business. Part of Willow’s plan to save things at the station involves contacting her estranged famous aunt Cami, and hoping her family doesn’t disown her for contacting Cami and trying to get her to town. What Willow didn’t count on was Cami having an accident, and waking up with amnesia believing she is 17 and wanting to see her, unbeknownst to her, estranged family again. This book is funny, fast paced with some major twists, and full of so much heart. I absolutely loved this story, and already can’t wait to revisit Sunshine Bay again! Another fabulous book with amazing characters by Debbie Mason! I received an ARC and this is my honest option.
I have read many books by Debbie Mason, and I keep reading them because she writes so well. Her books also are so heartwarming and relatable. But, with this book I struggled. I had a hard time connecting to the characters, and it was a challenge to find them relatable.
Willow is a ray of sunshine, but, everyone keeps knocking her down. When she meets grumpy Noah she connects to him quickly and starts forming a relationship with him. They are good together and for each other. There arc is so good, until it isn't. Noah discovers something from the past, that Willow had nothing to do with, and blows everything up. Of course, they find their HEA, but, I really needed some grovel.
The secondary characters, while quirky and eccentric, felt like they kept getting in the way. There were too many people and friends around Willow who kept treating her like a doormat, and she just took it. And not only that, it seemed she understood it. I just don't understand a character who keeps getting verbally abused, and comes back for more. These are not friends. So, of course, when Noah does the same thing, it just feels normal to her.
I really wanted to like this book. But, when you just want to hug the main character, because she is treated so badly from people who "love" her, it doesn't make for a light hearted romance book.
Willow Rosetti. She is positivity personified but even she can't make her beloved Channel 5 stay on the air. Trying to keep the station solvent while dealing with her family, her old/new boyfriend, his sister, and all manner of things, she is maxed. This story was somewhat of a Judy Garland/Mickey Rooney 'Let's put on a show' throw back as the book began, and I wasn't sure I'd like it. Then, the magic happened and the story opened up for me!
What a wonderful premise; get your movie star aunt to come to help get the station back on the top of the ratings...then oops...that doesn't happen...due to circumstances beyond anyone's control. Then you find out 'your' friend who is a boy when you were both 15, is now the owner of the station and he wants to sell...until you talk him into listening to you...kind of.
A delightful romp through a summer of crazy happenings. A very easy read and a fulfilling story. The ending is heart melting.
Sometimes secrets are kept too long and can cause difficulties in families. I'm glad this one worked out...for everyone.
4.5 stars since the beginning dragged a bit for me. All in all a satisfying read.

Willow loves her hometown of Sunshine Bay and her job as a meteorologist for the local channel 5 news. She has family close by, friends and coworkers she cares about. When the employees learn that the station is being shut down, Willow is determined to find a way to keep it going. She hatches a scheme to get her aunt Camilla Monroe, a famous actress, to make an appearance, sure that it will draw a big crowd and help raise funds to save the station.
What should have been an easy solution to the problem turns out to be anything but. Her aunt has amnesia and Willow has been entrusted with her care until her memory returns, but her aunt isn’t making things easy at all. Camilla has been estranged from her family for many years and Willow doesn’t know why, and the owner of the station is anything but cooperative.
I laughed, shed a few tears, and laughed some more. This is a wonderful feel-good story.
Wow!! I thought this book was just marvelous!! I absolutely LOVED my return to Sunshine Bay with Willow & Camis stories!! There’s something magical with the series how each book has tackled Two ongoing romances at once with the large Rosetti family & friends within the town! I found myself laughing out loud so many times as well as several poignant moments that had me a bit teary eyed with the emotional & unexpected surprise situations that came about ! What a great story this was .. hilarious, sweet , sentimental and thought provoking because of the authors well written secrets & plot twists . I was overjoyed to receive this ARC in exchange for my honest opinion /review regarding this story. I’d highly recommend picking up a copy when it’s released …looking forward to the next one in the series!
Willow Rosetti loves her job and life in Sunshine Bay. She finds out the TV station is be closed down and sold. She contacts her aunt Camilla Monroe a famous actor to come home to be on the local news. Her grandmother, mother and aunt are estranged from Camilla and don't know she is asking her to come home. Camilla is hiding secrets and doesn't plan to return to Sunshine Bay. Noah Elliot is the owner of the station and when he meets Willow, they realize they spent 3 weeks together when they were fifteen. Sparks are flying between them; but he is still saying he is selling the station. His fifteen-year-old sister shows up, so he has his plate very full. Meanwhile Camilla suffers an accident in NYC and now has amnesia and thinks she is seventeen and wants to come home to Sunshine Bay. Wonderful story about righting wrongs and forgiveness.
We’re back in Sunshine Bay with the Rosetti family . This book is Willow’s story, and it is really good.
I loved Willow’s personality, she is so positive and doesn’t let life get her down. Doesn’t matter if the viewers tease her about her clumsy weather forecasts, or if her aunt needs help after an accident and amnesia, Willow finds a way through it all. But when she finds out that the television station she loves might be sold, she is in action to save it from her childhood friend Noah.
Their relationship is up and down, can they survive the pressure of the sale and the other huge secrets that are revealed? Read this book, you’ll thank me later!
Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book, but my opinions are my own.
Willow is trying to save the station she works at from closing. She believes bringing her famous aunt Camilla on would help in doing so. The only problem is that her aunt hasn’t been around in 20 plus years due to some family drama that no one talks about. And then her aunt is injured and ends up with amnesia, and reverts back to her 17 yro self. What unfolds is a multi generational family drama complete with a love story, family secrets, found family and new friendships. I loved the character of Riley and how she and aunt “Cami” bond throughout the story. You can feel the small town vibes and Rosetti family relationships through the pages. Thank you to Debbie Mason and the publisher for the opportunity to read and review the book. All opinions are solely my own.
We get to return to lovely town of Sunshine Bay in this second book of the series, written by Debbie Mason. Willow, the town’s weather reporter, has a hilarious meet-cute with Noah…who she finds out soon after, her new boss. This is a multi-character POV book...which brings a different level of reading...a really neat one!
Three Little Wishes is a fun story, with some crazy twists, an aunt who gets amnesia, some sibling and family drama. A grumpy-sunshine romance, and some history in the re-making.
I really enjoyed this book, but at times felt a little confused and had to reread parts…could’ve just been me, could’ve been the book. But in either case, I thought it was a good read overall!
Willow Rosetti tries not to ever let anything get her down. She enjoys the life she loves in Sunshine Bay and all that it offers. She loves her job at Channel 5 as a weather girl and worries when she finds out her co-workers and herself might be out of jobs soon. She hopes she can contact her famous Aunt and get her help in saving the station. Things take a turn when her Aunt Camilla has an accident and Willow is called to take charge of her. Her Aunt has amnesia so Willow can't find out why she has been estranged from the family for so long. Follow along as secrets are revealed and Willow discovers more than she bargained for. Will her life be turned upside down or will everything work out in the end?
Thanks NetGalley for the ARC of Three Little Wishes This was an awesome story, it took a few chapters to hook me and I was trying to figure out how the characters connected, but then it all starts to come together and watch out cause I couldn't put the book down. Loved the characters, they were well introduced and described, not too many all at once. The setting was great, loved the plot. I loved finding out what was happening next, who was related to who and why. I loved Cami and Willow's character This is the first novel I have read by Debbie Mason but not the last. I loved her writing style!
