Garlands won a Xeric Award in 2002 for independent comics and a nomination for a Will Eisner Comic Industry Award in 2003. The art uses a combination of black, white, and metallic silver ink in an amazing way to tell a very good (if short) horror tale.

A good quick read. I like the penciling- everything's kind of silvery, which goes with the title.
