Such an amazing read!! Tara L. Conrad's books are a must read! I just want to say that if you are a lover of dark romance, with suspense, intense main characters with delicious love scenes and a great story line, then you really have to read this series! This is Book 2 in the Fire and Ice series.
Alex is a gorgeous alpha male in love with his beautiful Natalie. She is a strong lady and submissive to him! This book has me anticipating the next and it's so passionate and extreme. It also has triggers.
A well written book, with alot of interesting characters, full of intrigue and I am already on the next book. Also, I really love Tara L. Conrad's attention to details.

Turmoil, Carnage, Struggles

As Alex and Natalie continue in their lives not everything goes as planned. This book was so hard to put down. It pulled at my heart and screwed with my head. Truly loved this book and I'm excited to see what comes next. Definitely recommend this book.

This book kept me hooked to it all day. I couldn’t put it down. My heart was beating fast for the entire read. I couldn’t figure out what was going to happen and if there would be a happy ending.

Alex and Natalie never gave up on each other. That is one thing I love about this series. I appreciate that they communicated with each other (even if occasionally it should have been sooner). So many times the characters don’t talk out problems which doesn’t seem real to me. Their communication helps with the believability of the characters and the story.

It seems to end on a HEA, but then the epilogue preps you for part 3!

Oh my gosh and I thought the first one was epic and had me at the end of my seat the whole time it’s nothing compared to the second book!! I pretty much from the moment I started this book I couldn’t put it down did a full stay up all night! I love these characters so much and want the best for them oh but man this book has a lot of surprises in it. It’s so amazing good it’s hard to describe it this book has a lot of crime and still a lot of funny moments among so much more your feel your on a emotionally roller coaster ride it have you guessing and wanting to be in the book to help sometimes. It seems there is always someone out to get this awesome lovable strong couple I’m looking forward to reading book 3!! :).

Wow! I’m obsessed! This was a suspenseful, intense dark romance that had me on the edge of my seat! I loved these two in the first book and I didn’t think I could love them more, but somehow Tara has outdone herself in this book! I loved it! As always Simon Dornet did a fantastic job narrating!

This time reading book 2 i cried alot like the love these to have for one another is everything. They have to go through ao much in life and through it all they never give up on one another not only is this book full of love spice and BDSM it also had an amazing story plot to it as well. It does touch along human trafficking and how people are taken daily and sold and used it made me cry because unfortunately this happens in real life daily. I loved how she brought attention to this in this read.

Alex and Natalie's story continues with there reunion shortly after the events of the last book (he father is recovering from his attack and she and Alex have moved in together).  Alex is dealing with some problems at work. They could be related to his work with Maxim,  but once he investigates he determines it is only employees (can you say red herring?). If you don't recall, Maxim funds work to bring down human traffickers.  Well, where would the drama be if this solved the problem? Between navigating wedding plans and trying find a life outside of Alex, Natalie isn't prepared for the dangers that come with Alex's involvement in Maxim's crusade.

When Alex and Natalie are abducted, Victor (the body guard who I think is totally in love with Natalie) and Maxim do everything they can to find them. While being held by the traffickers, Natalie survives some difficult situations, as does Alex. He has a bit of a dark side that comes out in this book. He is always so careful and caring of Natalie, that it was interesting to see how he had to harden himself and do some awful things to her. All things considered, Natalie avoids a lot of the abuses I expected her to go through.

Alex and Natalie both struggle with the trauma of the situation and come out stronger for it, especially when they find out they didn't lose something important during their captivity.

The heat factor is not what I would call scorching. Remember, Alex is one of those sensitive, caring doms, so I would categorize this as BDSM light. It is probably a testament to my own depravity, that I enjoyed the s€xual interactions during their captivity due the noncon/dubious consent of the situation.

The book ends in a HFN, with an epilogue that hints more trouble is coming their way.

This was a great follow up to book 1 and I would recommend this book to those who enjoy their BDSM without the down and dirty noncon plot.

Alex and Natalia are a perfect match it seems .. Together they work on their relationship and move forward ... we read in book 1 about the shooting where Natalie's father is  accidently shot by Tommy and now  it seems they have a new foe in the picture..., someone is trying to hack into encrypted files on Alex's computer ... So off to NY Alex goes and he and Brandon think they find the culprits... he returns only to find that it is deeper than they thought .....evidently this is about  Maxum so they flee to Russia for protection until they can catch the hacker... well we also get a  surprise Natalie is prego, and so off they go to get an ultrasound done....when on their way back they get kidnapped and taken to Mexico where things take a turn toward horrible for them and are caught up in human trafficking first hand but what happens to Natalie and Alex ........omg hang on to your seats its a bumpy heart wrenching ride you'll have to read to see what happens ..... It also ends on a cliffy (which I so dislike) but we find there is going to be yet another book in the making along with yet more drama for Alex and Natalie........ and who knows who else might be along        guess we all will be in the boat waiting to see who is after them next.... WILL They ever find the solace they seek and the happy ever after ??? Only the author Knows .. hahahaa all in all was a good read .. sadly some spelling errors but  as a reader you will figure them out ..

This is book two in the Fire and Ice series featuring Alex and his sub Natalie. It continues straight on from the first, without recaps, but it is still possibly to read and enjoy this book on its own. Just be aware that a lot of the backdrop to the threat they are facing will then be missing. I do not want to spoil anything so I won't go into detail but be aware that they are dealing with human trafficking and there are some fairly graphic and potentially disturbing scenes included. I'm not quite onboard with the type of submission Alex requires - turn of your brain, don't ask for explanations, believe that I know what I'm doing even if I don't - but I still found myself liking him in the end and rooting for them to find their HEA. I thought they had - but then the epilogue hints at another threat coming in the next book in the series, so be prepared to read on!

What an incredible story! The continuation of Alex and Natalie’s story will keep you entranced from the very first word, sentence and paragraph. These two have endured so much that it’s time for them to have happiness in their lives. But life doesn’t always work out as planned, does it? When outside forces threaten both Alex and Natalie, my heart stopped! Nothing can keep these two apart, but can Alex protect her this time? Will they make it thru without harm?

I really enjoyed this second book in this series and can’t wait for the conclusion. Quite a bit goes on in this story, some of which may make you cringe and your heart hurt, plus loads of tissues! This author has an incredible way of making you fully invest your heart and soul into these characters. Natalie grows up quite a bit in this story and will make you love her even more. And as for Alex, he is perfect for her. I highly recommend this story!

Oh wow , just amazing yet again I really enjoyed it.Fantastic character development and you feel the passion and chemistry pouring through the pages as you read.

Omg though what is with the ending Tara I want the Third book now I want to know what’s happening. What and who is lurking and what hostile ememy is out there.

Natalie and Alex are a couple who have entered into a BDSM Dom and Sub relationship Natalie is new to it but soon becomes acustomised, when a threat to the family is posed they are whisked away to a family members compound but due to a series of events they find themselves in danger.

The story is amazing and I can’t wait for book 3 thank you Tara for sending me these books and I look forward to the next .

This is the next book in the BDSM series after Submitting to Him and they definitely need to be read in order, as the story picks up in book 2 where the first left off. Natalie and Alex's journey continues after they are reunited and in full wedding planning mode. However, nothing is that simple and their journey to the altar is going to hit a few more bumps making this book just as exciting and entertaining as the first in the series. More characters are added, both friendly and not so friendly, adding to the adventure. Like book 1, I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what happens next, but not wanting to get to the end of the book knowing I'd be waiting on book 3 to find out what happens next.

Holy moly what did I just read. Alex and Natalia are match made in heaven. This is the 2 book of fire and ice series and omg what a ride, so many emotions reading this book so be prepared, Alex and Natalie are working on their relationship and moving forward after her father's accident with Tommy and now there is another danger coming after them when they are kidnapped by human trafficking evil man omg hang on to your seats its a wild ride. I highly recommend this book I can't wait to see what happens in the next book, I can't think who could it be that's watching them across the lake.. After reading Submitting to Him, I was very excited to dive into Fighting with Him and get more acquainted with Natalie and Alex and see where else their story was going to lead. 

Fighting with Him was full of action, drama and suspense and had me invested in the story line from beginning to end while I read to see what was going to happen and if Alex and Natalie were going to finally get their happily ever after. 

I absolutely adored all of the secondary characters in this book that really help make the story complete. I love Tony and Leo and of course Lana and I really like how protective Maxim was of Alex and Natalie. I cannot wait for book three!!!

This story had me entranced from beginning to end! Alex and Natalie have a sizzling romance which is steamy enough to melt your panties off! He is totally swoon-worthy and Natalie is a sweetheart. This is book two of the series and you really need to read the first book to understand the backstory of all the characters. What I will say is that this book was even better than the first and it was a wild ride. I enjoyed the BDSM themes mingled in with the story. This is the second novel in the Fire and Ice Trilogy and it did not disappoint! The trials and situations the characters had to face were intense and sometimes broke my heart. The book does have triggers and any reader should take the warnings seriously as the novel is very intense. This is not a light read but a powerful one! I am anxious to start book 3 and see what is in store for Alex and Natalie!

I’m obsessed!

Alex and Natalie’s story is so heartfelt and amazing. Their love and passion for each other is beautiful. Through all of their trials and tribulations, the one thing that never fails is the way they feel about each other.

Tara Conrad has a way of making you fall in love with her characters right from the start. I can’t wait to read the 3rd book in Alex and Natalie’s story!

Ya’ll check your triggers before reading this book because it is HEAVY on the dark. This is book 2 of the Fire and Ice series. While it continues on about the Dominant and Submissive relationship between Natalie and Alex your also introduced to the world of Master and Slave.

While I enjoyed being able to continue Natalie and Alex’s story and I do like dark romance this book was just super excessive on the dark and for me I struggled. I felt the novel mostly was consumed by darkness so when there were the light happy moments I was still so overpowered by the darkness that I struggled to really enjoy it. Now if these triggers don’t bother you then you’ll love it! The suspense keeps you grasping for more the entire time you’re reading it. I thoroughly enjoyed the character development for all characters in the book. I really enjoyed how we saw more of Viktor in this book and I hope to see even more of him in the future! Overall the book was great, the cliff hanger at the end leaves you wanting more, I can’t wait for the next one!

I ate this book up! I wasn’t expecting to finish it so quickly but I am so so in love with Natalie and Alex.

So many emotions while reading this one. So much love, pain, and healing.

I love how easy to read Tara Conrad’s writing style is! Even though there are so many characters I never had issues following who is who which is a huge problem I have in other books.

I am dying with anticipation to read the next book!

This is the second book in this series, and Alex and Natalie’s journey continues. There are so many ups and downs in this story, I was on tenterhooks throughout. This is a well written story which is an action packed, emotional roller coaster, with family, friendships, humor, witty banter, romance, twists, tragedy, and love, which leads to an unpredictable, entertaining, and steamy page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
