Love the general philosophy of designing our exterior environments to work the broader climatic systems of a space. This book focuses on classical approaches to garden design that facilitate comfort in Mediterranean climates. As such the majority (though not all) of the interventions proposed focus on opportunities for cooling. It felt a bit repetitive as a lot of the devices described were similar. Found the water character the most interesting.
