Alex Bennett is part of a Coalition kill team charged with hunting down and eliminating troublesome smugglers.

Of course, simple job titles tend to come with the least simple of jobs. This is one of those instances.

While on Anderson V, Bennett and his team discover a race of aliens with sticky fingers.

When they go to retrieve what was taken, a fight ensues.

Will Bennett live to hunt another day? Or will he die on this lonely desert world?

This was a very enjoyable short story! Well written storyline with nicely developed characters, this is my experience of all of Angela's stories but the first time reading Caleb Fast. A good way to pass a few minutes!

Good story

This is a rather blood thirsty little storyline, not what I was expecting. It was though a very good and interesting tale 😁

I enjoyed the story itself. Following a group of soldiers stranded on an unknown planet was interesting.

I had a hard time with the rapid-fire verb tense switches. The story seems like it's supposed to be in third present, but we frequently get past tense verbs thrown in, sometimes in the same sentence, and I found it jarring.
