…but as long as the uneasy truce between the Osay colonists and the last of the RUPAC station directors endures, one thing is Brody is bored to death.
While the eccentric, action-movie-worshipping battle android does his best to stay occupied, Reach and the colonists contemplate whether to help a mysterious faction inside the RUPAC stronghold. The enemy colonists desire liberty, but is Amir willing to go to war to bring it to them?
Obviously.
Join Brody, Reach, the Rangers, Liana, Doctor Roman, and the rest of the action-packed cast you’ve grown to love one last time in… WAYWARD GALAXY 6!
I think they did a good job wrapping up any loose ends for the overall wayward galaxy series. True the last book was constant back to back battle sequences, which the executive of still kept the humor and sarcasm that fans of the series enjoy. The "John Crisis" story bits from Brody's movie was an really fun bonus (audible only). Would have loved if that was actually in the Kindle version too.
I have been a fan of the Wayward Galaxy since the beginning. The creativity of authors Jason Anspach & J.N. Chaney is among the best in sci-fi. If you add R.C. Bray's performance, there isn't any form of entertainment that I would choose over this series. May the Galaxy stay safe, but I really look forward to the n-n-n-next adventure!
I've been reading this series for about a week now, and I've been very happy with each successive book. The only thing I didn't like was its very ending. Brody should've stayed gone, leaving a way for Each and Liana to have their family. I would like to see a spin-off series about Katya and her crews adventures on earth.
Not realizing it was a Brody fantasy I almost deleted the bo ok over a ( falsely) restructure reach. Glad it turned out well but at least. Would like to see a book based on what katya Federova find on return to earth.
These books are always fun. The audiobook narrator, RC Bray, is excellent. I wasn't sure how they would keep the story going after the 5th book, but they figured it out. If you've already read the first 5 books, you should keep going with #6.
Ah, the end of the series. At least it felt like the end. Brody was slightly less irritating having invented an entire language spoken in movie quotes. Alexa was amazing, Reach was amazing, Leana was amazing, even the bad guy was amazing.
The best thing about this is something I've wondered for a long time - if there's a war here on earth, will it continue to space and the stars in general? What happens when America goes to war with Russia and there are both Americans and Russians on the ISS? Who get along great? I suppose it speaks to the idea of power and who has it. That's been true in real life since the beginning of time.
So overall, RC Bray was also amazing so the sum total of the book was amazing. Great ending, girl power, good guys beat the bad guys in a good way (Russians and Americans notwithstanding, could have been vice versa or any group of people). I liked this series a lot because of the characters. Anspach is dependable for a great series.
A truce has been declared between Rykov and the Osay, but the Osay receive a transmission that A number of RUPAC want to defect and the plans to free them disrupt the truce, leading to a final battle. We find out that Brody has been making movies! There is much double crossing, violence, suspense, strategy, action, as things move around they end up on Amir's moon... An enjoyable conclusion.
