Escape with the Prodigal by Danielle Grandinetti Only a Christmas miracle will save an unwed mother and the lumberjack protecting her. A holiday romance filled with danger, redemption, and sacrifice.

An entertaining collection of ten different romantic suspense novellas—danger, intrigue and faith! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Midnight Clear by Jerusha Agen A Christmas Eve blizzard, a woman alone caring for rescue dogs and a stranger who is saving a baby from a gang of abductors….a formula for great suspense.
Christmas in the Crosshairs by Mary Alford When men try to steal Hailey’s biological warfare research, she reaches out to her former boyfriend, Grayson, a member of the elite Scorpion Team of the CIA. There is a desperate chase over treacherous, icy roads as the two escape through the desolate wilderness. Plenty of suspense with twists!
Silenced Night by Lori Altebaumer Reading this new-to-me author, I was delighted to find this fascinating suspense with gentle romance and unexpected turns. After a neighbor is murdered, accountant Everleigh Greene is scheduled to testify at a trial. While visiting his aging grandfather, detective Luke Douglas is called to protect the young woman who is receiving veiled threats. Quite an engaging story and romance!
Escape with the Prodigal by Danielle Grandinetti I especially enjoy historical romance, so this story is my kind of suspense. I liked the tender romance between pregnant Meredith Hughes and protective young lumberman Patrick Martins and the interesting setting of an early logging camp. The prodigal theme is well done and very appropriate.
Christmas Cold Case by Sarah Hamaker Trying to find answers to her parents’ cold case murders, Noelle Holly Chastain returns to Twin Oaks, Virginia and is immediately threatened by unknown sources. Attorney David Keener supports her as she uncovers her family’s mysterious past. A touch of romance and intriguing developments kept me interested in this story.
An Imminent Christmas Threat by Kendall Hoxsey Even with suspicions from the past hanging over her family, Samantha Hawksbridge feels compelled to return to Potter Valley with her young daughter, Cora. Her new job as assistant winemaker at Quail Cove brings her close to ex-Army Ranger Ryan Monroe. When threats are made against Samantha, she must learn to trust. Even with the lurking dangers, I enjoyed the details of wine production and the festive Christmas activities which added to the charm of this story.
Smokey Mountain Rescue by Karen Kirst Natalie Wright and brothers Jasper and Nick Mitchell have been friends since childhood. Jasper secretly loved Natalie, but refrained from a relationship with her because of a promise to his brother. When Nick disappears, Natalie and Jasper work closely together to find those involved in his disappearance. I liked the strong faith elements in this suspense, especially the reminder God is always with us.
Deadly School Break by Pat O’Brien In the town of Rush Creek, New York, a drug gang has moved into the sleepy farming community. High school art teacher, April O’Ryan, is targeted because of her deceased brother. Antonio Roman, her former boyfriend who was also her brother’s security firm partner, helps protect April while they search for clues about why she is in danger. I enjoyed the second-chance romance and the realistic K-9 character, Reign. And what a great name for the security business: Full Armor Security Team. “Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.”
Hidden: A Gadden Valley Novella by Hope Welborn An engaging …and surprising….holiday suspense with a sweet second-chance romance. Alison Bailey-Curtis has just arrived at her family’s mountain cabin when a blizzard closes the roads and her parents are unable to make the trip, leaving her alone for Christmas. Her estranged high school friend, Noah Chandler, appears at her door to help with the holiday decorating, and unknown to her, to protect her from dangerous elements. Great intrigue with a wintry setting.
Murdered by Christmas by Terri Weldon The mountain ski town of Forest Green, Colorado is a charming resort, but a serial killer is stalking young women. Police detective Max Holloway must stop the killer. His former girlfriend, Wynter Blakely, a local ski shop owner, is targeted to be the next victim. After an unsettling opening, the tension in this second chance romance increases dramatically, then the story races to an exciting conclusion. If you like heart-pounding suspense with sweet romance and touches of faith, you’ll definitely enjoy author Terri Weldon’s novella, Murdered by Christmas.
Holiday Menace is a romantic suspense collection of stories with a Christian Christmas theme. Even though each author has a unique writing voice, they complement each other well.
As I finished each story and went on to the next, I lost myself in the constant mystery and action. The characters were well-developed with many layers and the suspense was intense. There were twists I didn't see coming and they all had powerful endings. Highly recommended.
All the authors did a great job! Each story will have you on the edge of your seat rooting for the hero. I highly recommend this book to all who loves a good mystery.
Loved the selection offered. Some writer I was familiar with and others I had never heard of but will look for their books. Of course some novellas were better than others but over all I was pleased with what I had read. Would recommend these selections to others.
Having read a few stories in this package, I so appreciate the romantic suspense and faith aspect. Characters with real struggles that force them to look to God. Good reading so far.
I discovered several great authors that were new to me. This great selection of stories had likeable characters, suspenseful narratives, and clean romance with Christian values. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
Each author in this book has done an amazing job creating tension as well as showing the importance of a strong faith in God. I am glad i read it and recommend it if you want suspense and romance combined.
This is an amazing collection of romantic suspense stories. They were all very well done and I enjoyed every one of them and found a couple new to me authors. This is a must have collection if you like romantic suspense.
Thrillers are not my usual read, but these were all well written and pretty interesting. A couple definitely heavy on the cheese, but to be expected with Christmas novellas 😅
Midnight Clear by Jerusha Agen - 4stars I’ve gotten used to reading dual perspective books and I so missed hearing from the hero in our story. A snowstorm and forced proximity bring our main characters together while a tiny life hangs in the balance. There are a few canine side characters. Criminals, law enforcement, and faith. This was a sweet Christian romantic suspense novella. I’ve read book 4 in this series and decided to head back to the first prequel book and start at square one in prep for book 5 being released this fall. It was a nice read with some strong characters. A fast paced, 2 day, Christmas romance. Some of the romance was a bit too fast and rushed for my taste.
Christmas in the Crosshairs by Mary Alford - 4.5 Stars This was an intense holiday romantic suspense novella that grabbed my attention immediately and held it the whole way through. I loved the law enforcement (CIA!), bioterrorism, faith, and second chance. I just wish that it was longer! I wasn’t ready for it to end. 4.5 stars rounded up to 5.
Escape With the Prodigal by Danielle Grandinetti - 5stars A lovely Christmas romantic suspense novella. I blazed through this one and couldn’t put it down. I loved the characters and the storyline. Protection and responsibility and family. I can’t wait for the next book in this series.
Christmas Cold Case by Sara Hamaker - 5stars The sad thing about novellas is that you can’t go so much into depth with your story. However, the author packed soo much into this book. My only disappointment is that because of the space crunch, a lot of information and reveals are thrown at us all at once and some pieces felt a bit convenient (leading to a 4.5 review). This short romance had mystery and lots of suspense and danger. Family and plantation slavery and more. It had strong characters and a solid storyline.
