War leaves my family destitute. My enviable life comes to an end.
I shouldn’t covet the stern shifter who turns up offering to work for free. Even if he lights a fire under my curiosity when he casually mentions I’m in need of a firm, corrective hand.
I definitely shouldn’t dream about the handsome barbarian who swore we would wed and then dropped me in the river.
Although the stuffy lord I’m expected to marry does not stir my heart, I understand that he is the practical choice. But fate and a masked stranger have different plans for me.

In a secret garden hidden behind a wall of shrubs and trees amid a tiny English village, you'll find L.V. Lane's writing den, where she crafts spicy adventures...Magical and mythical creatures, wolf shifters, and alphas of every flavor give our sweet, sometimes willful omegas and heroines a guaranteed HEA. If you like my books, you might also like my contemporary pen name, Verity Arden!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ She smells good enough to eat. I want to eat her. I want to throw her down on the snowy ground, lift those pretty silk skirts and make her body contort in rapture as I eat her pussy out.
Bound for Their Pleasure is another great omegaverse story from the Coveted Prey universe. This is one of LV Lane's lighter omegaverses with two all-in males: an alpha barbarian and an alpha wolf shifter.
I am enamored with each of the MCs. I loved the push/pull dominance struggle between the two alphas and thoroughly enjoyed when the barbarian bent to the shifter’s will (it made for some hot MM action). I also loved how they battled their possessive natures to claim the FMC for themselves, instead, joining forces to form a partnership. It made the most sense since we all know omegas have a near-insatiable appetite, and two peens are better than one to keep her satisfied.
This book is a fast-burn and spicy MMF romance with explicit MM, MF, and MMF scenes. There’s a forced heat with plenty of knotting, slick, claimings, and a very dominant wolf shifter who likes to call the shots in and out of the nest. Probably the best part was when the shifter mated the omega in beast form (a huge favorite of mine in shifter books).
Bound for Their Pleasure is a full-length standalone in the Coveted Prey series, but we do see some characters from previous books. You do not need to have read those to fully enjoy this story, though the majority of world-building has been covered in earlier books.
Once again, a highly recommended read from LV Lane.
Genre: Fantasy Omegaverse Romance Tropes/Features: fantasy elements, childhood friends to lovers, forced proximity, alpha wolf shifter MMC, alpha barbarian MMC, late revealing omega FMC, claiming, forced heat, mating in shifter form, breeding, established MM relationship, dominance and submission play, band of brothers, all-in MMCs, knotting, slick Narrator: Multiple 1st Person POV Relationship Type: MMF (established MM relationship) Book Type/Ending: Standalone in Coveted Prey series, HEA TW/CW: Death of parent, light kidnapping, bondage, violence and gore, mild dominance and submission play
They are two distinct sides of the alpha coin. Different, and yet each perfect in their own way.
BOUND FOR THEIR PLEASURE is my favorite book by Ms. Lane so far. I really liked the established relationship with our two alphas. I always prefer m/m pairings in my poly/RH and these two were hot for each other. Our FMC didn't take away from their love for one another but added to what had already been there. I enjoyed them all as individuals and as a thropple. All in all, a solid omegaverse romance with high heat, great characters and an engaging plot.
Memorable Moments
We knew this day was coming and made our plans carefully. By morning, the snow will be too deep for travel, and she will be trapped with us… trapped with two alphas. Before she leaves the little cottage, which my friend has been busy preparing for her and her heat, she will be mated.
To consider love when I barely know her might sound foolish. And yet, each day in her company, as I have provided service to her recently widowed mother, has worked a spell upon me. Her sweet ways, her cute little grumbles when I check her for not dressing properly or some other foolishness, or when I add a favored treat to her supper tray and her eyes light up, call to the nurturing side of me. Caring for her is so easy and so rewarding. I did not realize it would be so. Nor how quickly I should fall.
Because while I’m an alpha, powerful, and strong, I’m weak for her. I want to protect her and provide for her. I want to please her in all ways. I want to be the alpha she needs.
*This is the 14th book in the series. I didn’t read the others and never felt super lost, but you’ll have to wing it with the worldbuilding because I assume it was introduced in the earlier books and is not provided here. So, as a standalone this is missing a lot from that standpoint. We’re given some tidbits thrown in here and there, but most is left unexplained.
I don’t read a ton of RH, but I’m working through a buddy read challenge, so I have a couple of them coming. For these to work for me, I need to feel like the romance/relationship is balanced, so I tend to avoid dynamics like this one where the H’s have had a long-term relationship and are adding the h into the mix… and I need some plot. The good news is that I felt like this had both, but it was a little too surface-y for me.
Here we have Freya, Lor, and Aston. Freya grows up crushing on Aston and meets Lor once before they go away with her father to war. (this part was a smidge fuzzy, her family moved away, and her dad ended up in the military with the dudes) Years later, stuff happens, and they are brought back together.
Bottom Line- Not bad but not great. It had a plot but lacked any real relationship development or dialogue between the characters to build any authentic feelings or chemistry. As is, it sort of felt like they only returned because they discovered she was super special because they never made any move until then. However, I did think that they were more into her than they were each other, so there was that.
Quotes:📖 They are the most welcoming people I know. Unless you wrong them. Wronging a barbarian is a very bad idea.
I thought I loved Aston to the exclusion of all others, but Lor’s stern attentiveness finds all my weak spots and exploits them with ease.
Thoughts: 💡 Y’all some of these scenes were absolute 🔥🔥. There was this scene with a mmf 👅🍆 that was just 🥵. The story was sweet and fun, I really enjoyed the dynamics in this group, and I loved the mm ⚔️ stuff. This book falls solidly in the fantasy erotic romance and the erotic fantasy 😉 groups.
Writing Mechanics: ✍️ I enjoy the writing in these books. It should be noted though that the stories are set in a medieval setting so the language used in the stories reflects that. I think it makes the story feel more immersive. 🤷🏻♀️ Overall I enjoy the plot, the character development, the smut scenes, and the language syntax. I strongly recommend anything by L.V. Lane

This book is actually terrible. There was very little characterization and I think the biggest culprit is Lor. There was zero chemistry between him and Freya. I actually felt annoyed when he was in the middle of it all. The multiple pairing are not the issue and it could be the dialogue was the biggest culprit but this really felt like it was written by AI or something. Aston had much better chemistry with Freya and she cared about him the most since she actually spent time with him although we’re told rather than shown but when Lor was introduced he had potential. Yet all he did was yell and grunt and bark orders without saying anything substantial.
I also felt because we spent a little more time with Aston and Freya cared most about him, he should’ve been the first Alpha. Finding out later it was actually Lor when he had the least amount of chemistry with them was frustrating. This author has written better scenes between characters and this just didn’t have any. The beginning had potential but then it got worse. Would not recommend this book.
There is apparently zero problems with two Alphas f*cking each other and other lasses for yearsssss but of course they won't/can't claim the FMC until they get confirmation she's an omega and not a beta 🙄 Then we get some bs how Aston always suspected she was an omega but that it didn't matter to him. How is the author trying to convince us the FMC's designation doesn't matter when Aston and Lor f*cks anything and anyone rather than court the FMC until they receive some sort of reassurance that she is in fact an omega? Wow, so romantic!
Also not a fan of Lor spanking the FMC until she was crying when they're not even friends and there's no foundation of trust. Yikes.

Freya stumbled into the woods outside of her estate as a girl and befriended some children from a neighboring Barbarian clan. Over the years they became friends, and she found herself attracted to Aston, who was a few years older than her. But as an alpha, he was destined to take a mate, and she was destined to marry -- having come from different cultures.
As teens she came across Lor -- an alpha shifter who was wandering the woods outside of the clan. He and Aston became close as they both headed off to war together against the Blighten.
And when they return from serving, they both set their sights on Freya. Wanting to mate her together after finding out she's an omega.
I really enjoyed this one. I loved that they were all childhood friends (or frenemies lol). I liked that we got the backstory about them on page so we can see that change in their relationship over the years.
The chemistry between the three of them was hot. I loved the dynamic and the relationship between Lor and Aston too. There is MM in this one and I absolutely loved it. My favorite ménages are ones where the men are into each other too. Love it.
The smut was hot but I definitely wouldn't have minded a tad more -- maybe actually getting that final heat scene in the epilogue? Or something. But what we did get was really hot and steamy and I loved it.
I feel like we have met Lor before in one of the previous books, maybe as a kid? I don't know, but I couldn't figure out what book it was from so I don't know for sure.
But I did love how the familiar clans from previous books came together to help Lor get Aston and Freya back. So cool! And I can't wait for Alfred and Penelope's book. That's going to be a fun one!
Overall this was great. I loved that it's MMF, loved the smoking hot chemistry, loved everything about it. :)

Bound for Their Pleasure: A fantasy barbarian romance is book number 18 of the Coveted Prey series. This a VAST world. It's a fantastic world. I highly recommend reading all the books as they cover quite a large area of the map of this world, with different practices depending on where you are, which is really refreshing to see.
L.V. Lane really has created a masterpiece here. Some of the books are darker than others, some are more about the smut than others, and some - like this one- are all about lightness and romance. It's perfect to read if you need to step away from the dark for a bit. :)
I really enjoyed this book from start to finish. It's not a large book, it was quite a fast read really, but it covers most things I like. It's got breeding, knotting, beastform mating, male Alphas and also MM smut which is always a plus with me in a threesome and generally what I would like to read more than just MFM, hehe.
It's a lighthearted book, but it also has a little bit of action, just enough to not make it dreary and keep the story moving.
All in all, I really loved Lore, Freya and Aston. They had a great relationship, and I enjoyed Lore and Aston's already-established relationship and love before Freya got added into the mix. :)
Miss Lane introduces readers to the eighteenth book in the Coveted Prey series. This novel centers on Freya and her family’s challenging life after the loss of her father after the war with the Blighten. For which the King does not fully pay her mother the stipend which the family is warranted. Freya must make a match with the local pompous lord, for the family is struggling for money. The poor alpha Lor is living with them as a helper to the family for his penance of his own accord. He has only her safety in mind when he kidnaps her and takes her to Aston, the local barbarian Alpha that Freya grew up with. Freya, Aston, and Lor make the nearest woodcutter’s cottage a refuge while a snowfall traps them in for a month. Hoping that they can claim her and breed her and get her with a child. Only Marshal and his forces interrupt them during that time. Freya and the two alphas are mated, but Marshal wants to lay his claim. This character and romantic laced plot is a treasure for any reader. Watchers of the TV show Once Upon a Time will love this tome. A delightful read for all.
If you have not read the entire Covet Prey Series by L.V. Lane, you will still enjoy this stand alone, however I always recommend reading the whole series.
Freya is the daughter of man who is fighting the Orcs Armies of the Blighten. Her mother is at home with her on the family estate that her father seeks to retire to, He dreams of starting a vineyard. There is a forest at the edge of the property and on the other side of the forest is a Barbarian village.
Walking through the forest as a child Freya meets a brother and sister from the barbarian village. We follow Freya as she becomes friends with the barbarians. Loses her father in the war and matures into a beautiful young woman. She is an Omega, but she has not been revealed. Follow along as L.V. Lane takes us along with Freya as she struggles to find her way and her Alpha's in Bound for their pleasure.
The world building in this series is exceptional. If you like your romance novels with a long running plot over many stand alone books in a world carefully crafted to draw you in, then you have found an excellent series to read.
I skipped the book that comes before this one because I could already tell I would really not like the FMC. And for the brief moment she was in this book, I was correct to feel that way.
This book however was well done. I really liked how sweet and innocent the FMC was in this book. When she was demanding it was not over the top and done well. Basically, she didn’t annoy me and that made this very enjoyable.
I like both alphas in this. They each have their own personalities and it was pretty hot.
I’m not super into MM action but I just skimmed over those scenes.
This flowed decently okay. There were times it would go on tangents of unnecessary dialogue or get repetitive but it wasn’t enough for me to not finish reading.
I don’t understand why they went about kidnapping the FMC when she would have willingly gone with them anyway. But eh whatever.
I didn’t really care for all of the time jumping back and forth but that’s just a personal preference.
Overall though this was an enjoyable smutty read and I am glad I pushed on after not liking so many other books from this series.
I LOVED this book! It was another great addition to the Coveted Prey series and further proof of why this series is 18 books deep and so very successful.
I enjoy how well L.V. balances character and storyline development along with the steamy romance scenes. To me, it's the perfect balance.
I went into this one a tad hesitant as I knew it had some MM dynamics and I'm still pretty new to that...BUT I learned when they are both strong @lpha types that I REALLY enjoy that dynamic. Learned a little something about myself as a reader.
I also really enjoyed that we got a strong, stubborn, and a tad sassy of a FMC with this story. Those tend to be my favorites (what can I say, I relate 🤷♀️) and Feyea did not disappoint.
I LOVED when we got a scene with all the different clans, shifters, centaurs, etc. Showing up for the "big scene." It really felt like the Coveted Prey world coming together and I was here for it.
Pretty sure I saw the setup for book 19, and I'm excited to see what L.V. has in store for us next. I'll be ready.
First time reading a book from this Author and I honestly didn't see this was part of a longer series before I had already bought it, though they're supposedly standalones?
Anyway, from the perspective of a new reader not knowing anything I'll try to review it 😂
The world-building is sloppy and not well executed: Many things were never answered or properly explained/disclosed and sometimes information just got randomly served and told way too late in the story. Most of what we know of the world is told through long inner dialogues rather than shown, but it still manages to avoid telling us too much.
You literally have to know beforehand that this is inspired by Omegaverse for some of the storyline/world to even make any sort of sense. Which I find a little lazy. I still got so many questions about the world, and zero answers 🥹🤌
If you you're in a mood to just want pure saucy 🌶️🌶️ with minimum side story sprinkled on top and don't mind it not being well executed and making sense, then this might be it.
Freya has dreamed of being with the barbarian near where she lives since she was a little girl. He may have been a couple years older and very bossy with her while growing up but she still fantasized about the alpha Aston. She also may of had a lingering thought about the barbarian shifter Lor that became Aston’s best friend after he was found after an attack on his own village by the orcs.
Freya was a little bratty and she also emerged as an omega just in time for Aston and Lor with dubious plans to be able to claim Freya as their mate. Deadly secrets come forth and put their plans into action sooner then expected.
I enjoyed this book and it’s steaminess between all the characters involved. The twists kept you turning the pages to see if these three would be able to overcome the evil at play.
Freya is a disobedient child who defied her mama and went into the woods and thankfully she did otherwise she would not have found Dara and Aston and the adventures and friendship that they formed. Even as a young lady she was disobedient and again defied her mama and Aston, but thankfully she did or she would not have found Lor. Freya's story is not only about being disobedient but about finding the people who mean the most in her life, and she isn't only one up to no good, Aston and Lor muster up enough trouble all on their own, but even they have a good cause. As always I love L.V.'s stories and characters, this book contains all the goodies that we enjoy. Moral of this story is being disobedient does pay off, hahahaha
I decided to read this because I've read most of LV Lane's books and have enjoyed them. But this book doesn't do it for me. I don't like the dynamic of a MM relationship for years with a later F added to it. It's not one of those cases where you're told about it...but you actually see it. There is even MM sex away from the F. This is a series whose main target audience is women. And so I find this one book a bit bizarre. I do not like the alpha x omega dynamic in this book because the alpha isn't even the alpha in control of the group. This book is omegaverse in name only. But I like that the story is part of the world LV Lane has built. The last chapters where we see more characters is nice. As goodreads puts it, two stars for "it was ok."
Oh My Goodness!! What an exciting, adventurous book about 2 barbarian alphas who steal a beautiful female omega to mate. One of the alphas is a wolf shifter, who is probably one of the most dominant alphas in this series. Aston and Lor both met FMC when she was a young girl. Aston always knew he would mate her, along with Lor. Fantastic book! My favorite book in this whole series. I honestly could not put it down. I was swept away with the intense and unbelievably erotic scenes between all 3 MC's. I had to constantly fan myself during these scenes. WOW! And the sword-crossing scenes, let me tell you how hot they were. I love these types of sexy scenes between MMC & MMC, and FMC + MMC + MMC. I don't know what it is about barbarians and finding their mates, but I sure do love them. This is the first book series I have read by this author.
Freya, Aston and Lor grew up together. She was a city girl who loved her summer home. He was a barbarian from the neighboring village. Aston had a sister named Dara. Freya and Dara were best friends. Lor is a wolf shifter that Freya and Aston found. Lor ends up living with Aston and Dara’s family. As life continues the three grow closer. The guys go off to war and the ladies stay behind. Tragedy strikes bringing everyone together. They aren’t girls or boys anymore. Passion ignites and the bad guy shows up. Things get hot and wild Can Aston and Lor save Freya from the evil lord?
While I loved this story. I'm not gonna lie. I had a hard time connecting with these characters at the beginning of the book. I don't know if it was because they were all children or what. But I had a really hard time with it. Thankfully that only lasted till about 40% of the story. After that I was all in and heavily invested in these characters. Found myself on the edge of my seat wondering how this was all gonna turn out. Not gonna lie. Freaking Marshall had me worried. All I'm gonna say about that is... he should have been turned over to Ashton, and Lor to deal with. I would have loved that scene!
Dang LV never fails to amaze me. She packs so much in one short story, but nothing is missing. This book is full of twist turns and lots of spice. We do bump into a few characters from earlier books, which is nice to see how they've evolved even if only for a few minutes. The FMC has grown up around one of the MCs the other came along when she was an adolescent. Circumstances beyond her control, force her to agree to marry a man she does not care for. Unbeknownst with a two males have in store for her. I highly recommend this book. be sure you're aware of any triggers before you pick it up.
Freya is a gregarious youngster, who while roaming the woods stumbles upon her future. This isn’t just the story of a young girl finding herself and then love, but about three people growing up, and forming relationships. I loved that the focus was not only on Freya, but that the relationship between Lor and Aston was given equal care. Like all of the books in this series, Bound for their Pleasure is high heat, fast paced and well done. This author is a must read for me, and this book with its omega/shifter/barbarian undertones is a wonderful addition to my shelves.
I truly love this series! These books are so diverse yet in the same world and completely addicting! I love that you get a meeting of cultures in this one. You get the Omega who is from a city setting with Alpha's that are from the more rural side. One is a barbarian and the other a shifter! Oh and this is a true triad! They are all together. . . . If you know what I mean!
This was another great read in this series! I loved that the Omega as all about her family. I also love that her guys make plans to make sure she is theirs. Loved it!
After reading so many books from this author, and especially with this series, I thought there was no way this author can surprise me any more. Yet, this book totally, totally left me speechless and proving once again how awesome this author is as a storyteller. I was not ready for LOR or ASTON at all! I mean, I knew what I was getting from a barbarian and a shifter cause you know, hello, I've been reading this series. Yet, I was not ready for them, INDIVIDUALLY or TOGETHER at all! Just go read this book, if you haven't already. If you love this series, you'll love this one as well!
This wasn't bad but the earlier books had more story to them. This book was different due to a girl from the King's realm meets Alpha barbarians and one is a wolf shifter to boot. Different laws pertain to an Omega in the King's rule. Still, Omega's are highly prized in both worlds. This story had a nasty beta nobleman who was all into claiming the Omega, Freya for his own gains. The shifter, Lor and the first alpha in Freya's life as children, Ashton, both claimed her as their mate. The book had a definite HEA.
This was a sexy hot, RH with two big hot as hades alphas. Lor is dominant wolf shifter and Aston and is a barbarian with a submissive side…. 😳 Then add a cute, sweet omega named Freya to the mix and you get hot chemistry, spankings and lots of knots.
The storyline was great and it has my favorite HEA ending. So if you want an omegaverse that will keep you turning each page then look no further.
I have voluntarily read this book and this is my honest review.
Wow. Bring the fire extinguisher or stay close to a cold shower, 'cause this book is HAWT! I love the first meeting at age 7 and how they progress into adulthood before actually getting together. As with all the books in this world, you're left reeling from all the steam and in this one you get a hidden omega, MM, MMF, knotting, bondage, the evil "nice guy" and all the stuff you could ever want out of a coveted prey book. Love it all!
Freya meets a barbarian girl, Dara, while playing in the woods one day. Dara's brother, Ashton, is a few years older and everyone thinks he will be an alpha. Several years later they meet a lone shifter, Lor. Lor and Ashton go off to fight the Orcs together and love to share everything.
Together they are determined to mate Freya. This story is a continuation of the Coveted Prey series. Each book is a standalone set in the same world. This story was more steamy mating and less adventure. There is good writing for all. Has MM and MMF with bondage.
Bound for Their Pleasure is book 18 in the Coveted Prey Series by L.V. Lane. We meet Freya, a young woman, Omega, who needs to mate with someone wealthy because their family is struggling. She has known Astor since she was young. Lor is working in Freya's household. They end up snowed in a cottage together. Sweet love story. HEA. I have enjoyed all the books in this series and this doesn't disappoint!
I loved the character and world building in this installment from Liv!
I loved the relationship between Aston and Lor as much as I loved the two of them together with Freya 😍 the push and pull between the dominant males and their sweet mate was just everything, and I'm so glad Freya loved to see them together as much as I did 🥵🥵
This was full of action, angst, and suspense and I devoured it! I can't wait for more of this world!
This is the 18th book in this fabulous series, but it can be read as a stand alone. I really love this series, and I've found that each book has a different flavor. The things that set this one apart are the MM scenes. Yes, it's a menage book, but the men have just as tight of a relationship to each other as they do Freya. I really enjoyed that dynamic. It has plenty of spicy scenes, but it also tugs at the heartstrings.
