College senior Sara sees a coy note pinned on the bulletin board at her favorite café: Ivy & Bean. She writes a flirty response and pins it on top, never guessing the correspondent could be her brothers best friend. Once she meets up with him in person, they make good on their penned promises. Full of passion and a happily ever after.
2🔥 Spice/Plot Ratio: 3.5/1.5 Kinky: 1/5 Well written: 4/5
Plot: Sara exchanges messages on a billboard with a stranger. It turns out, he is not a stranger. When they meet for the first time it gets spicy very fast. I think it’s a spicy cozy read
What I liked: Even though it was very fast paced, it seemed sweet and one could get all the input needed. Also nice to read that the woman doesn’t come from penetration alone 👍🏻 was the part with her brother rushed? A bit, but hey it was still great. And: he was prepared (condom) and she didn’t have to ask about it. It should be like this. Even though it was little communication it felt safe.
What I disliked: Nothing honestly. I would read more about those two :D
Cheating? no OW/OM? no POV? third person HE/HEA? yes
TW: potential one night stand, angst

Heart Notes packs a big punch in a small package. Sara and Anthony fit like a glove. Their romance was cheeky, cute, and steamy all at once. It was fun to follow Sara along as she peeled back the layers of the full relationship that her high school crush and brother's best friend had become. I'll never be able to listen to the Pina Colada's song again without Heart Notes coming to mind. This story will stick with me for a while, which means the author did their job well.
Sara and Anthony had crushes on each other when they were younger. When Anthony told Ben, Sara's brother he wanted to date her after she turned 18 he ended their friendship. Ben's sister was off limits! When Sara found out this is what happened 6 years ago she was furious. Anthony and Sara finally got their HEA regardless of what Ben wanted. Cute and quick read. I absolutely loved it!
