Donner makes a living delivering Santa’s gifts. He never expected to be one.
Omega Donner heads logistics for Santa's trek across the world, but he can't figure out his work/life balance. Santa’s more prepared than he is! Magical intervention gives Donner the outfits he needs to tackle the nightlife head-on. Too bad it tackles back…
Alpha eagle shifter Beau is a bouncer at a rooftop club. When he sees a hawt omega hurt in an accident his workplace should have prevented, he makes it his goal to protect Donner at all costs. When he and the club disagree on how to handle the incident, Beau quits his job. Now, he has all the time in the world to spend with Donner and ensure he has the best vacation ever!
That isn't what Santa had in mind … or is it? It'll take a Christmas miracle to bring these grumpy/grumpier fated mates together forever.
Donner features an uptight omega reindeer with parental issues, a protective golden eagle shifter without a family, fated mates, and a bit of hurt/comfort. It also contains a magical suitcase and two versatile consenting adults who would rather enjoy their hotel room than be tourists after the first week. Donner is the 7th book in the multi-author M/M Mpreg Christmas romance series Mated at the North Pole featuring Santa’s reindeer who find their mates while on a mandatory vacation. Why not read them all?
This book takes place in a shifter world where Florida is a much better place than in our world.
Santa orders a stressed out Donner to take a vacation and he chooses Miami. Once there he goes to a local nightclub and is knocked out during a fire alarm. Alpha shifter Beau, then takes Donner back to his hotel. As he spent longer than his 15 minute break, he is fired. This of course leaves him free to spend the rest of Donner's vacation with him. Once the time is over, Beau decides to go back to the North Pole with Donner. Another sweet, no angst book in this series which ends with twin babies.
I just adore this holiday series of the overworked reindeer being forced on vacation. The meddling Santa makes me smile this time. we have omega reundeer Jax Donner and an overprotective alpha golden eagle shifter Beau. Sparks fly even after a not so great meeting where these two just connect and show each other what true happiness looks like. Jax finds his mate, which enables him to relax and be proud of all he has accomplished as an omega reindeer. Beau learns the true meaning of Christmas and what it is like to be loved and have a family again. Great read absolutely adore this entire low angst mpreg series .
4.5 Beau and Jax were a great pairing. They had an easy connection, which was helped on with Santa magic and being fated mates. Each of these stories starts with a holiday and this one spent significant time in the North Pole. Plenty of steamy times, interesting side characters and magic
A wonderful low angst, shifted romance that has some Christmas magic to it, bringing two pretty lonely guys together. Jax is one of Santa 30's reindeer and so is quite a busy guy at the North Pole but also focuses a little too hard on his work and so is sent on a mandatory vacation by his Santa. This turns into the best idea ever, though, as he gets to meet Beau who turns out to be very important to him. Beau's life has been quite loneky, especially since his mum died, and then getting tired from his job leaves him with all his free time to spend with Jax on his vacation. It gives them a chance to grow closer in every way and lean into the feelings that both their shifter sides are telling them, that they are mates. It's a heartwarming romance as both men get to experience the joy and beat of having their perfect match, and after feeling lonely for so long, that's even better for them. There is happiness in the experiences they share and what they bring to each others lives, especially when and takes Beau to the North Pole. They balance each other well and Beau allows Jax to see the people around him in a different way than before, making his home and work life even better. A highly recommended shifter mates, mpreg romance. I look forward to the other stories in this series from the same world. I received an ARC and am happily giving a review.

When Santa demands he take a mandatory vacation, he throws clothes in a suitcase and picks his beach destination. Magical intervention gives Donner the outfits he needs to tackle the nightlife head-on. Alpha eagle shifter Beau is a bouncer at a rooftop club. When he sees a hot omega hurt in an accident his workplace should have prevented, he makes it his goal to protect Donner at all costs. This story was sweet as another pair of fated mates met thanks to a Santa-enforced vacation. I loved the magical switch to the contents of his suitcase. Their relationship was good and I liked that they communicated their thoughts and feelings with each other. I loved that Donner was cared for and loved in a way that was missing before. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content set in the omegaverse with mpreg.
Donner by Edie Monte was a slightly different Christmas story, with most of it set in Florida. I thought their twist on the story of Santa was clever and added a lot to the book. Donner is the reindeer shifter’s last name, another fun twist on the classic tale. He is an omega, but not weak or wimpy as some omegas are. And my favorite variation was that Beau, the golden eagle shifter, was not an overbearing, obnoxious alpha. Rather his alpha tendencies come out in keeping Donner safe. He actually winds up quitting his job rather than buy into his job’s lies about the incident where Donner got injured. The two played tourists in Miami enough to ground the story in the location. I did not see where their relationship would go, but I loved it and especially the epilogue. For those who like Santa stories set in the North Pole, there is enough action there as well. And this is one of the few mpreg books I’ve enjoyed after burning out on them eight years ago. I received a free copy of Donner from the author and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Donner is the 7th book in the Mated At The North Pole series. This series is a multi-author M/M Mpreg Christmas romance series and each book can be enjoyed as a standalone. This is the story of Jax Donner and Beau Reed. Jax is a reindeer shifter and an omega. He is also one of the reindeer on Santa's Teams. Beau is an alpha Golden Eagle shifter and security at the club Neon Haze. Beau and Jax meet when Jax is injured during a fire alarm at the club. While Beau takes care of Jax, it costs him. Now that his time is free, Beau and Jax spend all the time they can together before Jax's vacation is up. This is their story. It is a cute, angst free story. Just the type of story to get you into the holiday spirit. It is well written and easy to read. It was interesting to get a more in-depth exposure to Christmas Village. I enjoyed this book. I look forward to reading the rest of this series.
I was given a free copy of this book by the author and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This book is a little different than the other books in the series. Yes, it has a HEA and babies. But it also deals with some heavier themes, abandonment, inability to please a parent and the need to always be in charge. The stress of having to be in control of everything is stressing out Jax Donner and affecting his role as Santa 30's team leader. An omega, who never meets his alpha dad's expectations, he's sent on vacation to relax and have some fun for a change. Beau Reed is a golden eagle shifter, alone in the world. His mom passed from cancer, his father abandoned the family before birth. Working at a Miami nightclub, it's there he meets Jax. A slightly higher angst factor than what I've encountered in other holiday tales. But it works for this story. Maybe not lite and airy. But fun just the same.
. . . Stars: ⭐⭐⭐⭐🌟 Hot: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 É uma leitura F(. . .), desculpe pela palavra, eu amei 🖤. . . Amei! Férias no quando de um hotel, com muito amor. E um acasalamento feito digno. Uma mudança com um toque mágica e pronto tudo estava certo, e dois babys a caminho para tornar isso mais lindo. 🥰🤭 que venha o próximo livro. . . Boa Leitura 😘
This book was a little longer than the others, and a little more slower paced. Not too slow paced lol, I did enjoy getting to know the two broken souls from different family homes. They most definitely stole my heart.
Character breakdown;
Donner: I thought he was a bit neurotic and a workaholic, then learning how his father treated him well it made sense why he was the way he was. It was kinda sad to see.
Beau: this man broke my heart, it was just one sad thing after another. But I also adored him and I loved that he was a golden eagle.
The only complaint I have is that we never get to know what came of Beau’s search for his father and people. Would have been nice to see how they were etc. other than that the book was good. 7.5/10 ⭐️
Such a sweet Christmas magic and fated mates story! Beau might not believe in the magic of Christmas anymore but Jax Donner is going to change his mind. These two were perfect and the magic of everything has a plan to make it all work out. Neither man believes they are good enough for the other at first, but each day they spend together makes their bond stronger. Worth a read! I would have liked to see more of a resolution between Jax and his parents to heal some of his past but Beau gives him confidence. Jax probably forgives easier than I would have. Good characters and a dash of Christmas spirit.
Donner aka Jax is another over dedicated to his job reindeer who is sent on vacation! Beau is an eagle shifter which is new for me and has lost his mom, and now his job and is realizing how lonely he is. Fate had him meet and rescue Donner at just right the moment! I will say both Beau and Donner are bit rough around the edges when it comes to connecting and romance. They end up on a bit of a vacation together and are just so spicy and sweet as they start to bring love and happiness into each other's lives. Throw in some holiday magic and this is another fluffy fun and feel-good read in this unique reindeer romance series.
Jax Donner needs a vacation! As head of logistics for one of the worlds Santa’s, he takes his job seriously. And he’s wound a bit too tight. Santa, seeing one of his vital reindeers stressed, sends Donner on vacation. His fun in the sun trip to Miami heats up when he meets Alpha Beau. This book had everything I want in a holiday romance – sweet fluff, a bit of hurt/comfort, lots of Christmas magic, and my favorite mpreg! Jax and Beau were perfect for each other, and I loved their instant chemistry. This is a fun read to add to your holiday collection.
I love Christmas romances! Throw in fated mates and Santa magic, and you have yourself a super sweet and spicy story. Jax and Beau are two very likable characters and I loved their connection with each other through out this story. There are touching moments, grief and the loss of faith in the spirit of Christmas, and parental pressure. I don't want to say too much about this,as I don't want to spoil this delightful story for anyone. I received an arc copy of this book from the author herself and this is my honest review.
This book is part of the Mated at the North Pole series and is a great addition. I loved the descriptions of Santa`s town, the casual use of magic, the personal touches Edie Monte puts in this story and makes hers this world. Donner isn`t perfect, he has doubts and problems, same as everyone, and Beau is his perfect counterpart. They make a wonderful couple and the cast os secondary characters lends an amazing undertone to make this feel real. Seeing this two grow closer and fall in love was a treat, don`t miss it!
Your reindeer is screaming, Mate, but he's an eagle!
Another book, another Reindeer. I fell in love with Jax and Beau from the first pages. Their meeting might have been because of an accident, but it was intense and inevitable. This book is amazing. Fast-paced but not rushed. The attention to detail lets you feel like you are there. The Honeycomb, an underground apartment complex, is a new twist. Santa magic is in full force. You will become completely invested in this story. I know I did. You are simply gonna love this fabulous book! Grab it Now!
This was a sweet, low angst holiday romance. Jax has been sent in a much needed vacation. He runs into Beau at a Miami nightclub and there's an immediate attraction between them. As they slowly get to know one another over Jax's vacation they both realize there's something special between them. They both have baggage. Jax has an overbearing father and Beau has been alone for some time. Together they help each other realize what happiness is. With some help from Santa and his elves they get to have their HEA.
This was a cute Xmas read and I didn't realise was part of a series so may have missed a little world building but still enjoyed the read.
Donner and Beau are reindeer and eagle shifters which well on paper don't make sense but they work and I quite enjoyed their connection- soulmates but not as schmoopy a some are written
Love how Santa can fix anything if you believe with almost a snap of his fingers.
I'm glad this book was in the middle of the multi-author series and not the beginning or I won't have finished it or started any of the other books. I don't know if this was longer than the others or if it just felt like it was never going to end. I just didn't like or care for any of the characters or how they went about anything. Perhaps this story is someone else's cup of tea.
There were a few things missing from this story. Mainly for me, that the author didn’t tell us what the twins shifted into even when there were a few opportunities to do so. Jax & Beau were a perfect pairing, though I did find it odd for them all living underground. Honestly, I kept wondering when they would move out & into a house. Anyway, this was my first by Edie Monte & it was an enjoyable read!
I absolutely loved this book. I really didn’t know what to expect, but it was a whole new idea about Santa and his reindeer. Beau and Jax were able to create a wonderful story for them to have their family grow ever more. Bio family and all of the others too. I got to read this free for my honest and unbiased opinion…….. I really loved it, and think others will too.
I am loving this series so much. This time it’s Donner’s turn to find his own HEA and he finds it with a golden eagle named Beau. These two were so good for each other. I really enjoyed how they just fit together. I also really enjoyed seeing how their relationship progressed after they mated.
Jax and Beau are really sweet together. I like seeing them get to know each other as they are falling in love. There are some character descriptions that kind of felt weird to me. I feel like they interrupted the flow of the story. I am still a big fan of this book overall as well the rest of the series.
Really enjoyed reading this book. Thought the story was well written, both Jax and Beau were great characters. Little angst, but the story dealt with everyday emotions of new couples. Thought it was hilarious when Beau had Santa deliver "Coal" to so-called friends in Miami and a soccer mom. Recommend reading.
This is another sweet story in this multi-author series. I really enjoyed following along as Jax and Beau got to know each other and got their happily ever after.
Such a lovely and sweet Christmas romance, from Florida to the North Pole. A much needed vacation brings a fling which ends up being much more. Such a great vision of the North Pole and how it runs, super great world building! Loving this series so much!
If you love Christmas, shifters and fated mates, this book is for you! Heck, this whole series is for you! Nine feel good reads that'll get you in the mood for soft cuddly blankets, cocoa, candy canes and putting up the decorations. Love it all so much! Get them all.
What really makes a holiday read stand out is the heartwarming sense of family and friends. This one embraces that. I also liked that they were different types of shifters. That brought so much to the story.
I really enjoyed the world building in this story. The underground apartment complex sounds interesting and I loved the magic that this Santa has. I liked how Jax and Beau took their time getting to know each other before they mated. I loved their story!
