Firstly some additions regarding this book as whoever put this on Goodreads didn't post any details at all.
It is written by Nigel Richardson as it says on the cover photo that they used!
It is a 96 page history of Monarch Airlines which was one of the most popular British charter airlines. It contains many photos of the airliners that the airline used through its history until it collapsed for financial reasons at the end of September 2017, ironically the same day that I had flown out to Spain on what was actually one of their final flights. I found out about the collapse due to a text message they sent out to all their passengers. I still managed to have my full two week holiday as the emergency return flight was arranged for the same date that I had booked for. That flight was also my one and only time flying on a Boeing 747 'Jumbo Jet'.
The book gives good detail of their operations etc.
Well worth buying for anyone who liked the airline.
