When Freya comes to, she is lying on the freezing ground, Miles beside her. The car is a mangled mess far below them. Now Freya needs Miles to save her life. Using all his survival skills, Miles manages to locate an old shepherd's hut and get them both there despite Freya's twisted ankle. Rescue will surely come before too long... but until then Freya is no longer in control. The tension between them is soon at fever pitch as she tries to dominate a man who no longer obeys her orders.
And when rescue does come, how will they return to their old life of mistress and bodyguard after what has happened between them?

At the end of fourth part, which I enjoyed a lot, Freya and Miles parted and my biggest worry was that the author would prolong their separation too much, something I didn't want to happen since fifth part was the final one. Unfortunately, that's exactly what happened.
In this last part there are a total of 6 chapters and Freya and Miles meet again only in the last 2 chapters.
Sadie Matthews went on about situations not particularly important and that could have been resolved and explained in lesser time. In this way we could have had a better glimpse of Freya and Miles's future together as a couple and enjoy more tender, sweet and romantic moments between them. I found the ending quite rushed, especially under the romance, and many questions remained unanswered and others left to our imagination. It's clear the author did it on purpose and will resolve the mistery of who is the leak in the next volumes in the series but Freya and Mile's love story ended here and I wanted, needed, a definitely better happy ending for them.
Overall, it was a very good book that I enjoyed reading! I'm surely curious to read about Flora's story with the hope that the author won't make the same "mistake" again.
*Note: I changed the vote from 3 to 4 stars because I learned from the author that, not only we'll see glimpses of Freya and Miles in the next book, but the fourth and final installment of the series will wrap up the 3 Hammond sister's stories! That's great news! Moreover, after finding out that the male protagonist of the next book is Andrei Dubrovski, I'm very looking forward to reading it!!
