Our fated bond is doomed from the start…

Our packs are sworn enemies, and those closest to me claim that Liza cannot be my mate. Even with the odds stacked against us, my wolf is certain that she’s the one I’ve been waiting for.

But first I must stop the rogue wolf from Liza’s past who is obsessed with her. If I don’t hunt him down fast, he has the power to destroy our pack and my bond with Liza completely.

And with my father becoming weaker by the day, the pressure is intensifying for me to claim my mate and become alpha. Only Liza’s wolf is growing more unpredictable, and she’s starting to question if I’m acting with my heart or out of duty.

I’ll risk everything to be with her because I know exactly how special Liza is. But if the wrong people find out who she really is, it could be a fate worse than death…

Not sure how this book is rated higher than the first book in the series. The plot drags to the point of almost being nonexistent and is annoyingly repetitive. I'm going to DNF at 28%.

3.5/5

After the cliffhanger from the last book, I was expecting something different from this story. It continued where the last one left off. However, it didnt actually go anywhere. Nothing was resolved or moved forward. Ty was still keeping secrets from Liza, which is super irritating. The only big changes was from Dom and Persephone. They accepted Liza and really changed their tune. I do love how Dom took responsibility for his part in what happened to her family and how Persephone took Liza under her wing. Now the betrayals happening left and right i think I know who it is. Its weird that they haven't figured it out yet though. This book isn't the greatest follow up after book 1. Im still continuing the series because I am enjoying it.

I liked book one but this entire book was one big buildup. Nothing was solved and there are so many “threats” hanging over the main characters.

Okay so book 2 is not how I thought it was going to go. Spoilers ahead. Okay so I need the next book in the series. The cliff hanger ending, I need to know who it is. First I think that Sabrina is the one who has been leaking info. The only other option I can see is Bryce. Both are close to Ty and Lizza and both would cause a huge amount of broken trust. While I feel like it may be Bryce my immediate thought was Sabrina. I want to trust her and not cause Lizza more pain, but if it was her it would wreck her.
I absolutely love how much Dom and Persephone have changed, especially in Lizza’s eyes. In the beginning they seem stuck up, snooty, and like they look down on Lizza from the beginning. But as the story continues you see that it’s both guilt and the need to protect their son that has fueled their actions. But they truly accept Lizza for who she is and I love that Persephone starts to take her under her wing. I also love how Dom dosent hold back from admitting his guilt and his wrongdoing to Lizza. He takes responsibility for his actions and accepts that he may not have a good relationship with her after what he did to her parents and pack.
I feel like Castro took a backseat in this book a bit. After his two riddles we don’t really hear from him until the very end. I kinda wanted more, just random letters or texts letting them know he was still watching and looming in the background.
So I really only like the miscommunication trope in certain ways, like with language, culture, fun stuff. But when you don’t open up about stuff and lead them to think a different way I hate it. Ty should have told Lizza from the beginning about why they have to mate, but if that happened then there wouldn’t be the conflict.
All in all I’m really happy both book 1 and 2 came out at once. It let me really get into the series and makes a great back to back read. While I love them together I honestly don’t know if I would have immediately picked up book 2 if it was released later. Book 1 started everything and gave all the history and set it up, but book 2 brought in all the emotions and the stuff that happens in daily life, minus the crazy psychopath trying to get you. It shows what a relationship is like, with fights, the silent treatment, miscommunication, love, forgiveness, and trust. Because of that I’m more invested in the characters relationship then I would have if it was excluded. I know when book 3 comes out I will have to reread the series from the beginning and I’ll treat it like one giant book before book “2” comes out. I really loved it and can’t wait for the next in the series.

I downloaded book one but going by book 2 description I read them both, so there may be a spoiler in this review.

This book is different to most of the normal shifter books I read, where they meet and that it instant lust/love - nothing wrong with that I love it! In this book they take their time getting to know each other before sealing the deal.

Ty is next in line to be Alpha when his dragged to a full moon mating get together, think a fancy singles night with really good food!

Liza is busy prepping food for this big occasion, she has to muck in with serving too that's when the connection happens, but that's just the beginning.

This isn't a short book, I like a long book so this didn't daunt me.  I enjoyed the relationship building that Ty did, I have to admit he seemed to work hardest at Wooing Liza.   Liza she's very independent and also little different and she's a businesswoman.

There are twists and turns in this book, romance and passion and two well balanced likeable main characters.

There is a happy conclusion at the end but the story isn't over, I look forward to reading the next installment.

- Fated mates
- Shifter romance
- Opposites attract
- Past secrets

THis book is the second in the Royals of Presley Acres series and is not intended to be read as a standalone. The events of the book make more sense after reading the first book.

This story begins right after the ending of the first book and the action is non stop. I never knew what direction the story was going, which I liked. It was definitely not boring or predictable.

I enjoyed seeing Ty and Liza's relationship grow as well. I had doubts about Ty in the first book.

This book ends on a cliffhanger as well, so I'm looking forward to the next installment!.

I am so glad Liza finally came to her damn senses. She was making me mad keeping Ty waiting. I honestly thought Ty was going to go through with another mate... the way it was being setup, I was like no way - he's not going to betray her. He would lose her for good.
I was right. I wish it had more angst.
There is plenty of drama with Castro but that's it.
I really thought Castro would of been taken care of by now. Dude really needs to go.
I think I know who has been helping him too. I was iffy going back and forth a couple of times, but I think I figured it out. :D
I guess we will see if i'm right in book 3

DNF. I wasn't a fan of book one due to all the lies that tie was telling her"to keep her from leaving him."I was so frustrated at Liz for not throat punching him and going back to him. Book two was just a mass of confusion. All of a sudden we learn about a betrayal from his former girlfriend and Castro their nemesis. Who is Nico and all these emails. It was like book two should have been booked three and maybe a novela book should have been written to explain all this. It was like I got dropped in the middle of a book. It was just too confusing for me to continue on. Maybe it's a good thing cuz I hated both characters.

The story continues with Liza and Ty trying to navigate their relationship and the truth about Liza's pack's demise at the hands of Ty's father hangs between them. With Castro determined to get his hands on Liza tough decisions have to be made, made much harder by Liza's growing desires as an Omega. This series literally has me holding my breath and sitting on the edge of my seat. With so much going on and lots of twists and turns I can't wait for the next in the series to find out what happens next.

The cliffhanger continues never knowing when or how Castro will strike next. I love the relationship that has developed between Ty and Liza and how they have managed to overcome obstacles. There are surprises in this story and Liza has been able to cope with each and everyone of them. The story is still entertaining and has kept my attention with anticipation of the next story. Definitely a story worth reading but it is one that is best to be read in the writing order of this new series.

This is the second installment in Liza and Ty's story and it did not disappoint. The bad guy Castro keeps stringing them along and with the threat to Liza and the pack finding him is of utmost importance before something bad happens. Somehow he seems to stay one step ahead of them. Can the pack and Ty and Liza's love survive his onslaught. Plenty of suspense as well as romance in this one though it does end in a cliffhanger so will have to continue following the story to see how it all ends.

This is the second part of the series. The first part ended in a cliffhanger, we find out more and more, it took a while, but once they get there everything goes into gear. They end up in a cat and mouse game that can end fatally, will Ty and Liza escape unscathed and will they stay together and love conquers all?

After a not so auspicious start while they are looking to be a couple there is a lot that they need to navigate first. Past actions have cast long shadoes and have had a serious impact on their future. Liza is trying to control her very nature while Ty is drowing in his family's actions. As ever the writing is captivating and you feel very involved in the macchinations surrounding these two. You have a sense that all is not over yet and it is going to get harder before it gets better.

So my love hate relationship with cliffhangers continues. I love the thrill, I hate the wait and not knowing. I adore this series, the writing is great, the relationship between Liza and Ty is so well done, I love the suspense , mystery and never knowing what’s going to happen next, definitely a series worth reading. It does end on another cliffhanger.

This is the 2nd book in the series.

This book carries on from the 1st book, their packs are enemies, they are certain they are meant to be together but everyone is telling them cant be. Then someone from Liza's past turns up to claim her. This book also ends on a cliff hanger.

I enjoyed reading this story and would recommend it.

Ty and Liza are back for more of the intrigue and danger that is haunting their mating. But while much was discovered in the first book there is still trouble and intrigue to navigate to get their happy ending. And not everyone is happy about their mating and the secrets revealed. Had to see what they must face this time around and would they make it tot he end considering their issues.

Second installment of Liza and Ty's story. It was a great paranormal/shifter story. Another bad guy is introduced that is a threat to both Liza and the pack. Suspense, romance, intrigue and action makes the cliffhanger survivable. Can't wait for book 3.

Beginning is a bit slowly but definitely kept me on edge.

Really annoyed that the details in book one didn’t match the details in book two. Ty can’t cook in the first book and now all of a sudden he has always loved cooking and learned at a young age. WTF. There is pages of inter monologue for every two lines of dialogue. The characters are supposed to be mature 40 ish adults but they are terrible at communicating (probably because they are talking in their own heads more than to each other) I was just disappointed with this book.

Liza is the biggest idiot in the history of idiots. She keeps deliberately putting herself in the way of hurting others then plays the victim. Dumb. I enjoyed the first book but not sure I’ll read three or four.
