Blake Sanford finally found the guts to ask Aubree Donatti out. The date went well enough that she’s agreed to see him again. But disaster strikes before their second date, and Aubree is laid up with a broken leg. She’s bummed about missing a dance competition, one that Blake agreed to enter with her.
Even though Blake’s not a dancer.
Seeing an opportunity to impress Aubree, Blake puts an ad in the local paper and in his coffee shop window for a dance partner. He’ll find the perfect person to help him win the competition, ensuring the Amherstdale Alzheimer’s Foundation office gets the donation Aubree wanted to give them and (hopefully) helping Blake win Aubree’s heart.
Kristin Rogers needs to pull several hundred files of financial data together for her boss to save his job. Because he’s likely to retire within the next two years and Kristin has been eyeing his position for a while, she’s at the Coffee Loft at all hours, guzzling as much caffeine as her body can hold, working nonstop.
Always friendly, when the owner of the Coffee Loft approaches her and calls her by name, Kristin closes her laptop and engages in a fun, lively conversation with him. Except she’s pretty sure he’s got the wrong Kristin, because she is most definitely not a dancer.
Still, Blake Sanford seems like a nice guy, and he’s cute. Not to mention Kristin’s been saying for months now that she needs more in her life than just her job. But what begins as a fun favor for a new friend quickly becomes something more.
The problem is everyone sees it but Blake and Kristin.
Oh this book was so good, and I read it in one sitting. I loved the writing and both the characters. They were actually so easy to fall in love with and their story felt natural. Loved the bashful guy and extroverted girl.
I received an advance copy of the book and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
The Coffee Loft is housed in an old, refurbished bank in downtown Amherstdale, Illinois. The tiny kitchen is back beside the old vault; the tables spread out in the small lobby area incorporating Amherstdale Art . An impressive place set in the old Chapel Bank building. Blake Sandford the proprietor has two left feet, no rhythm, and klutzy as an ox . He needs help and is in a mess he must confess , he doesn’t know who Kristin his dance partner is…A lady in red ? Sounds like heaven , would be perfect if there weren’t at least seven of em! Ahem…Tall enough for the basketball team , you’d think he’d be a dream. But you’d be the one dreaming as he’d be screaming having tripped over the ball or his opponent’s feet. That would NOT be neat. Hence the urgency to find the elusive lady that could help him …maybe. All this you do so Aubree thinks good of you Blake , you got it bad mate and no mistake. Aubree will fall at your feet , if you do this dance feat. It’s for a charitable cause , of course it could all be for nought if Aubree doesn’t feel the same zest and zeal as you have caught.…Kristin Rogers is ace with numbers , good at financials and such, she isn’t the Kristin he’s after , which isn’t saying much , but she decides to help him out hereafter. “I’m not square dancing.” She shook her head. “I’ll put my foot down there. “ “Right foot or left?” …Well this had them chuckling and broke the ice she thinks it’ll be fun and that he’s nice. “Maybe we should watch a dance movie.” “I’d rather you just stick a fork in my eye.” They banter almost every day this way, and Kristin ? Well she’s smitten but to her dismay , here’s Aubree so there’s no way…Well it’s time for the festival weekend but guess what ? He gets his girl and they have a whirl …but not doing the foxtrot. It’s a Matcha made in heaven girl cos he’s Soy into you . Funny how things worked out with these two. A borrowed dance partner showing him the ropes building his dreams up and his hopes. They’ve come true. He has his forever girl who his family adores . Happiest man alive doing the Hand Jive….Not forgetting Kristin because she got her bloke , and the one she chose, was at the dance that night , it was like he stepped through smoke. The thoughts that evoke. He was the one doing all the chasing , he soon made her stop …to see the time they were a wasting… And that she was made for he . It takes two to Tango , but a hand Jive , well it kept their love alive….and forever they’ll strive , keeping their hearts true .Brilliant writing . Soy good , just as we knew ,Tracy Broemmer it’s over to you. Just want to say you write a good book that is mighty fine and worth a second look. Perfect blend! You can always depend . Another Coffee Loft , ticked off , can’t wait now to find the next book from the Loft, this series has had me on its hook and I ain’t complaining . Perfect love storytelling even when it’s raining . Mighty fine and ever so compelling.
Tracy Broemmer’s addition to The Coffee Loft series is a definite winner!! This is my first book by this author but it definitely will NOT be the last!!
This was a case of various variations of a mistaken identity, with them becoming friends then to lovers tropes. I thoroughly enjoyed being a part of Blake & Kristin’s relationship journey. The author does a great job with each step and phase of their friendship to romance.
I just loved Blake. Not only is he a smart business owner of The Coffee Loft but he’s incredibly sweet, nerdy but I’m a good way, sensitive and honest. What started out as trying to impress a girl with participating in a dance contest with her, she gets injured, so he looks for a replacement for the contest which leads to the unintentionally finding the love of his life.
Kristin…she is definitely someone I would love to be friends with. She had been in kind of a social rut and by chance is mistaken for someone Blake thought had answered in his ad for a dance partner. I loved that she wanted to help him out to impress the girl he wanted to date. She’s a hard worker too and you see that in her job and the effort to learn a dance with Blake. AND how selfless she is when she did not want to truly get in the way of Blake truly wanted the other girl.
Some of what you’ll find in this book is — ❤️Clean romance ❤️friends to lovers ❤️kisses only ❤️cute dog character ❤️funny dog names ❤️dancing ❤️fall festival contest ❤️meddling sisters & friends ❤️coffee ❤️sweet epilogue
I received an advanced copy of the copy from the author and all my thoughts and opinions are my own.
I have been loving this season's offerings for the Coffee Loft series and this book is no exception! The dynamic between Blake and Kristen is so sweet!
Blake is trying to impress a woman named Aubree. They went on one date together, but Blake needs to up his game to keep her interest! So when she mentions she wants to join a dancing contest in the upcoming fall festival, Blake agrees. He doesn't mention that he is very clumsy and cannot dance....
But when Aubree breaks her leg, Blake is determined to continue in the contest and puts out an ad for a dance partner. And this is where the book begins...
Blake is looking for a woman that matches the description of the dance partner that accepted his offer, but in his coffee shop, there are many women wearing red, which is what he was told to look for. Overhearing a woman on the phone mention her name was Kristen, which is the name he's seeking! He strikes up a conversation, which the (not right) Kristen continues. Realizing his mistake, Blake goes to leave when Kristen offers to step in and help.
Neither of them can dance, but the dedication they have to the charity event is very heartwarming! Of course, as the practices progress, they become closer. But neither of them is willing to acknowledge the chemistry that everyone else notices!
Such a cute book! I will definitely be picking up more from this author!.

A case of mistaken identity is quite comical in this book. Blake needs a dance partner (even though he has two left feet). When he mistakenly believes that Kristin is the woman he was supposed to meet, the stage is set for an interesting story. This scene was like something about a romantic comedy movie. I was laughing so hard as the poor man made so many assumptions about Kristin's identity.
Kristin is a numbers gal and Blake is the proprietor of The Coffee Loft. They could not be any different, but also the perfect match, if that makes sense.
As two dance competitors who are not equipped to enter a dance competition, you are provided with plenty of laugh out loud moments. The whole premise of this plot is swoony and sigh worthy. Blake was a such a darling. You could not help but love Kristin as well. She was such a good sport about helping Blake out. The Coffee Loft series continues to make me smile.
Thank you to the author for this ARC. I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I haven't read any of Tracy's books before and this seems to be a good one to start with. Blake is trying to impress a date but then ends up advertising for a dance partner to win a competition. Kristin is fed up always being there to sort everything for her boss, she needs a seperate interest, but what. When she's mistaken for somebody else in the Coffee shop she gies along with it. Who wouldn't he's a handsome man and he looks honest. Will Blake impress the girl or will the mistaken identity girl prove more interesting. It sounds complicated but believe me it's not. This is an easy to read story that you just keep reading wondering if everything comes together in the end. Another great addition to the Fall season of the Coffee Loft series ❤️📖☕️🍁❤️.

This is the first book I have read by Tracy Broemmer and it definitely won't be the last. This was such a fun book. I loved Blake and Kristin's story. Blake was supposed to be in a dance competition with Aubree but she got hurt and can't perform. So he ends up asking some one to fill in for her. Well he meets the wrong Kristin by mistake and let me tell you that was a fun scene. As they prepare to compete for the dance competition they build a friendship. Well maybe more?! This was a quick read as I read it in one sitting. I had a good time getting to know these characters. The characters and the story were well written and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this book.
Thank you Tracy Broemmer for allowing me to read this ARC for my honest opinion.
Soy into you is a cute story of mistaken identity. Blake had agreed to compete in a dance competition for charity, but when his partner broke her leg, he felt obligated to still enter. So he put an ad in the local newspaper. Kristin was surprised when the barista at the local coffee loft approached her acting as if he knew her. When he finally explained that he was waiting for a Kristin to meet him and he assumed she was said Kristin. He was totally embarrassed. She thought it was kind of sweet. She agreed to help him with his quest. The storyline was really fun and entertaining the banter is witty and charming. I thought the characters were developed well and It was a delightful read. It’s a clean, wholesome romance and perfect for a short easy read.
A sweet case of mistaken identity - Blake and Kristin have a great meet-cute. He thinks she's his dance partner, there to help him dance his way into a second date with another woman. Rather than beg off, Kristin decides to help him out so he can impress Aubree. They're no Frank and Ginger but they have fun, something Kristin was sorely lacking. Blake did get the girl, just not the one he thought he wanted. A sweet, fun read that had my toes tapping and my lips smiling as I imagined their antics to the songs the author mentioned.

This was so cute and easy and light. I read it in 2 hours and was taken into Blake and Kristin’s world. Small town, Blake owns a coffee shop and was going to do his friend, and probable lover, Aubree, a favor by entering a dance contest for charity. Aubree has hurt herself and Blake tried to find someone to help him out. Then there’s Kristin, they try out dances to decide which one will be best for the contest while Blake gets confused about who he likes. There’s also a dog adoption so that’s always good in my book.
It was so cute and fluffy, I kind a wish there was more of it. I would have loved to have dived even deeper into their lives, including family and friends.
Ahhhhh what a sweet story! Could Blake possibly be any sweeter? Entering a dance contest to impress a girl he went out with once, looking for a new partner when that girl breaks her leg. Enter Kristin, with an adorable meet cute, so of course you just want them to get together! Total opposites, both crushing a little, both thinking it would never work. The funny moments are so well done, Feivel gives you all the cute dog feels, and they get along so well, but will they have their HEA? Will they stay friends? Or will Blake end up with Aubree? Loved this sweet Rom Com!
Talk about a cute story! I loved these two and how easily they went from strangers to friends. Kristin’s determination to help Blake and his care free attitude made their adventure fun and lighthearted (the perfect combo to slowly fall). Because of their practice and research I felt like they had a great opportunity to bond and break any walls and pretenses. Definitely loved these two and Kristin’s new fur baby. This is a dual pov, clean romance. It is part of a multi author series but can be read as a stand alone novel.
Their first meeting was a case of mistaken identity when Blake thinks Kristen is the one to teach him how to dance to impress Aubree. Neither of them can dance but they teach each other and become friends which that has to end because of Aubree, right? Blake was infatuated with Aubree after one date and he didn’t really know her and if they had much in common. The little rescue dog Kristen adopted sounds sweet, although I didn’t agree with just going into the shelter without research. This was a kisses only romance.
Soy, soy - what do we have here? 2 left feet and 2 right feet Love books of the Coffee Loft Series. Loved characters and sweet coffee story. Blake is a nice guy. And he met Kristin by accident. To go for an other girl's dream who him had meet recently. Freshly baked triangle. They are perfect together, everyone can see it and they even can dance, in the competition. Easy to read, funny and sweet, enjoyed it.

Soy Into You by Tracy Broemmer is part of the multi-author The Coffee Loft Series: Fall Collection series. The story is about Kristin Rogers and Blake Sanford, with a friends to more story-line. Add in a dance competition, two people who cannot dance, a coffee house, mistaken identity, a cast of other characters and a lot of fun and you have a winning story. Kristin and Blake dance around each other until they finally learn to dance together and it is magic.
I loved Kristin and Blake! Blake mistakes Kristin for someone he is supposed to be meeting as a dance partner! She ends up doing it to help him out! They have hilarious dance parties, and become very good friends. They do everything together leading up to the competition he has entered to impress another woman he is interested in. I loved that they were honest and up front about why they were doing this. I think that was my favorite part. I love all the in between of them getting to know each other and possibly falling in love! I definitely recommend this. I could not put this down!
A mistake in identity leads to forever. This was a cute, quick read. Blake mistakes Kristin for someone else & asks her for a favor to impress another woman don'tworry he isnt dating the other girl just interested in her. As Blake & Kristin's friendship develops, so do their feelings for each other. I enjoyed how their relationship developed & that they were honest with each other.
Soy Into You by Tracy Broemmer is part of The Coffee Loft Series and has got to be one of the sweetest little love stories! I just love how cute, earnest and eager that Blake was to impress Aubree and how both Kristin and Blake developed feelings but stayed innocent with those feelings throughout the dance competition. I loved the addition of Feivel, so adorable! I recommend this sweet kisses romance with a HEA!
Blake is intent on impressing Aubree. Now he just has to find a dance partner. A misunderstanding - just a little mix-up over names, really - and he's partnered up with Kristin. That's where the real chemistry is, but they're both blind to it. He's a bit nerdy, but running a successful small business. She's smart, and kind enough to help him try to get the girl. Hilarity ensues with plenty of lol moments. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I loved Blake and Kristin’s love story, it was definitely an easy palate cleanser between my heavy emotional books that I typically read, this book had me giggling and kicking my feet at points. I loved the will they, won’t they back and forth that this story presented. Also, the choice to have Kristin adopt an adorable little puppy sold this book for me. I would recommend this book to anyone who just wants to have a jolly good time.

What a great friends to more book! I loved the way they met, with a case of mistaken identity, and I was wondering how long it would take for them to realize the mix-up. Blake and Kristin quickly become friends and have such a great time together, that it’s easy to see that they’re meant to be. This was the first book I’ve read by Tracy Broemmer and I can’t wait to read more!
I couldn't have loved this darling story more! This was a wonderful romance. The characters were charming, funny and heart-warming. The book is shorter but so well written and very entertaining. I love these types of clean, easy going, friendly and sweet stories that leave you feeling light hearted and happy. This book was such a joy to read.
Blake and Kristin are so much fun. The story starts out quickly and doesn’t lose steam. Blake is trying to find a dance partner and him and Kristin banter back and forth, becomes dance partners then friends and ultimately so much more. He is actually trying to impress someone else, but falls for Kristin. It was a very good, fun, clean story and a perfect addition to the Coffee Loft.
Kristin and Blake weren't meant to meet nor dance together, but they did and became friends. It's such a cute story where two people get to know each other for the purpose of helping him impress a different woman. They keep saying they're only friends, so it's fun to see their relationship progress. Sweet ending.
A fun entry in the Coffee Loft world! This was especially cute since both main characters were out if their comfort zone. What could have been weird was fun and a no stress situation. I loved the characters, the storyline, and the relaxed atmosphere between main characters. Lots of humor bringing unexpected chuckles was a bonus! Delightful!
Soy Into You is a clean, mistaken identity, fun romance. This book was a joy to read and left me feeling really happy. I liked the characters, their actions and their dialog. I read it straight through and was sorry to say goodbye to these great characters.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. I like how a mistaken identity leads to friendship between Blake and Kristin. It was great how Kristin helped Blake out. Time spent together leads to Blake and Kristin falling in love. It was a sweet romance.
Might just be the right Kristin for Blake, small town barista. Blake is trying to impress a big city girl by dancing with another gal. Go figure. It’s a stretch.
Kristen is doing her thing. She is approached by Blake at the local cafe. He thinks she is the one who answered his ad. It is a sweet story of mistaken identity that works out in the end.
