BASIC SYNOPSIS
Each page of this book has a message - couple of paragraphs to read which relates to the prayer at the bottom of the page. There are 365 pages, so the object is to get you to pray every day. A couple of days in, he starts adding Bible verses to read as a task at the bottom as well, so the book also becomes a Bible reading plan.

DNF REASON
I wanted to like this book, but I was bored and a little annoyed by it. I realise that I don't enjoy reciting other people's prayers because I don't always agree with their choice of wording, or even what they think is a good thing to pray for. I also think he missed an opportunity of adding credibility to what he was saying by attaching unrelated Bible readings to each day. He could have had them relate to the prayer at least.

I won't say this book is bad, but I couldn't get through it and will very likely not buy another prayer devotional. I think I'd rather pray my own prayers.

This is a 365 day devotional. It is compacted with inspirational, thought-provoking, educational and spiritual devotions. Myles Munroe also included an easy guide to read your bible in one year. POWERFUL!!! You will never view prayer and the purpose for your life the same. In fact, you'll be curious of what your purpose in life is. Thus, causing you to seek God for answers by reading His Word, praying, meditating, praising and worshipping Him. Your prayer life will increase as you get a better understanding of the power and purpose for prayer. I pray that you're blessed as I am while reading this daily devotional. God bless!

Very powerful daily devotional. I especially enjoyed the balance of New & Old Testament scriptures in each devotional.
