Aghhh had to dnf this one. Had such a promising start with the ‘femme fetale x boy obsessed’ aspects and I really wanted the author to push the plot of them building a relationship.
But the mmc basically pimps her out to gain information from an enemy. Had to dnf when he stood outside the door while she was basically getting assaulted in the bedroom by the enemy 🤮 didn’t like how he kept putting her in danger!

This was good 3.6 stars
The heroine's job as a sex worker added excitement to the plot, but the book's title and the cover of the other edition may give the wrong impression because this is not an arrange marriage.
I really liked the heroine “ Asha” , which is not her real name where as the hero was not my favorite he was ok I guess … and the plot was missing some excitement .

Asha & Finn Exotic & Enticing
This book is smoldering hot! There is heat from the first page to the last! Asha is a high end dancer and escort of sorts in Nikolai's high end clubs. She had a fling with him before he met his wife but he treats her well and the money is too good to pass up. She is in control. She is a dom and controls everything that does and doesn't happen with her clients.
She hopes one day to leave it all behind and start new but it will take more than she has right now so she continues on! Finn is representing Theo in The Kings and is taking over his spot while he's away. Finn knows he's not welcomed by most but he's capable of handling what needs to be done. What he never expected was Asha! She is beautiful and he can't take his eyes off her. She has a mutual person in common and she has agreed to help him and Nikolai with this mafia matter.
What Finn never expected was his reaction to this woman and he wants to do everything he can to keep her safe. But that is not always possible in their world. Asha is becoming his everything but they are dealing with dangerous men and have no idea the outcome. This is an action packed adventure that you will devour and longing for more. Happy Reading!!

This is a challenging book to review. On the one hand, it is well written, with plenty of sex (which I am always for). However, it is not very satisfying as a romance because the pair feel disconnected from one another through most of the book. A majority of the sex scenes are masturbation, some of them with toys. There is some hand and mouth stuff in the context of dominant/submissive dynamics, but those scenes are brief and don't come across as particularly hot or exciting (at least to me). The main couple don't get together till the end, and when they do, it's surprisingly tame and perfunctory. I think they are kept apart a little too long and a little too efficiently, which hurts their on-page chemistry. Overall, I often found myself frustrated while reading this book, and not in an immersive, swoony way. This is a 2.7 for me, rounding up to 3.

This was so good, absolutely amazing.
This was about sex worker, Asha who meets Mafia second, Finn in the club she worked at.
Firstly the attraction between the two of them from the start was so strong even though Asha fought it with everything she had for the most part. But the games they played, were definitely delaying what we wanted to happen.
Full of suspense and danger, the edge of your seat drama really heightened the story. The heavy dose is romance and the edgy steamy scenes were very telling of the characters also.
A very intriguing story that had me questioning through out, was very well written and the dialogue and action certainly great.
Highly recommended especially for Mafia fans. Great book!!

Finn O'Sullivan is watching over the Irish Kings for his boss and finds he is in need of information from a man that seems to be encroaching on their territory. Asha works at the Ashen Rose as an escort, most of the time she plays the role of a domme but for a few select clients she is a submissive. When Finn finds out the man he's after wants Asha as a submissive Finn offers to pay her to try to get useful information from the man for his boss. There's only one problem, from the moment he sees Asha he desires her and he may not be able to remain professional. This is a great read with a broken female lead character who will do anything to protect her heart!

I truly enjoyed the audio presentation and the story. I was curious about visual Voice also and must say I am impressed! I Liked both characters and Finn seemed like a dream. “Lass” in an Irish accent and a male redhead who looks past someone’s history to seek love and companionship. Ain’t love grand! Didn’t hurt that Felicity and Finn were both at the top
of their game and prepared for the stalker/new crime lord throwing the dynamic couple together to correct some wrongs. Very intense sex scenes too; Fires to out out! I am going to check out others books by this author!

Historia no convencional donde nos muestran personajes que toman desiciones difíciles para sobrevivir. Asha/Felicity se permitió nuevamente sentir y amar . Finn se permitió arriesgar nuevamente sus deseos de formar una familia.
La pasión , deseo no satisfacen realmente.. la combinación con el incongruente factor del amor lo hace invaluable.

Ruthless vow was Finn and Asha’s story. After having been burned by love twice, she’s fine with being on her own. After a wonderful night together, she assumes she’ll never see Finn O’Sullivan again. But then he comes back–with a different kind of proposition. A job–a dangerous one, but one that will pay well enough she can put this life behind and start fresh. An intriguing read. And voluntarily leaving this review.

Ruthless Vows is Asha and Finns smoking hot story. Asha and Finn carry us on quite the journey filled with action, danger, surprises and suspense. These characters are absolutely perfect together and the chemistry between them is boiling hot. The characters and the storyline will consume you and hold you tight until the end.

I found this book to be very interesting and good. There is alot of what I call author's perogative. There is no way Finn or even Nicholi would ever repeatedly put Asha in harms way like they do. And other inconsistencies. I still give it 4 stars for the excellent writing and entertainment. She wants to be a domme. He wants to be in control. Good read.

M. James writes like I want to read! This book had it all! Hot scenes, hot men, dangerous situations and HOT sex! The characters are believable and I could not put it down! Loved it! I was given this book to read by the author and I absolutely loved it and definitely recommend!

Asha and Finn’s story fairly fizzled with scorching chemistry, action, drama and the odd misunderstanding. This is my ARC review of Ruthless Vows and it’s fair to say that I loved it from start to finish.
Asha is a sex worker at the Ashen Rose an ultra exclusive club run by the Bratva. She’s one tough woman who knows how to look after herself but there’s also an air of vulnerability about her. Asha has worked at the Ashen Rose for quite a while, although Asha definitely enjoys the power/ control dynamic of bring a dominatrix and is no shrinking violet it seems as if the shine has long since worn off. Is this all there is… the sameness of every night. That is until Finn comes into her life, from the very first meeting when she was putting on a show she was mesmerised by him. That’s so very dangerous for Asha, she’s used to setting the tone and she’s been burned by men before and vows never to let a man have that much power over her…..
Finn is stepping up sitting at the head of The Irish Kings table and keeping things running while Theo McNeil is in Ireland. Finn is loyal to his boss and happy to step in, when a new player arrives in town well Finn gets creative in trying to get information oh him.
I loved the relationship between Asha and Finn, it began with the mother of all misunderstandings between them, while Finn is a strong capable man who you definitely don’t want to cross he was definitely a novice in his initial interactions with Asha. I absolutely loved the push/ pull between them both vying for dominance at times, well it’s fair to say this book was a joy to read. The story had plenty of action, steamy scenes and the chemistry between Asha and Finn was hot but there was a depth to their characters and I loved how they riffed off each other. I could not put this book down and if you’ve enjoyed M. James other books you’ll be delighted to know there’s the odd cameo of previous characters popping up but to be honest I was happy to see them but I was all about Finn and Asha.

I loved Finn and Asha! Their story was spicy and romantic. Their sexual tension was so hot! The plot was entertaining and kept me enthralled throughout. It’s a roller coaster ride of emotions. An amazing read. (This was a complimentary copy and this is my honest review)

What can I say about Finn and Asha's story. It was so hot and spicy I sometimes needed a lie down to cope ☺️. M James just draws you in with the characters and their stories and brings you in to their world effortlessly. I can't believe how hot the book is when the main characters dont even have full sex till three quarters of the way through the book! This in my opinion made the book and sexual tension off the charts! Amazing book as always from M James.
