When an old woman dies onboard the lettering shop with a Cajun curse on her lips, the bad luck really starts to rain on Mila Breaux. She’s not sure she believes in the supernatural, but the more strange events take place, the more it seems to believe in her! With the help of her best friend Critter Girl, and a handsome game warden named Xavier Ordoyn, Mila will need to dodge the hex while getting vengeance for the dead woman. Misfortune is not the only thing trying to stop her, however, and she’ll have to act fast to get to the bottom of things, before it is too late!

I couldn't put this down. It was hard to stop reading at the end of any chapter because I really wanted to see what was going to happen next. I enjoyed the close friendships and growth in relationships. I also loved the possible magic twist, without giving anything away. I'm looking forward to the next book in this series.
In Book 2 of The Lettering Detective series an old woman dies onboard the lettering shop as she places a Cajun curse on Mila. The only way she can break it is to avenge the woman's death. She and her sidekick "Critter Girl" never intended to get involved in another case, but they find themselves pulled in to it anyway. This was another great addition to the series.
This second book was even better than the awesome first book of the series. A fun and twisty cozy mystery with enjoyable characters, an interesting plot, and a satisfying end. Yay!
