He’s suddenly looking at Cady in a new light and can’t believe what’s been staring him right in the face for years. This was a story that had you feeling so many things. This is book number 7 of the Cranberry Corner series and focuses on Kent and Cady. Cady’s birthday has always come in second place thanks to having a Christmas eve birthday. All she wants to do is celebrate her day with her best friend but when her best friend is unable to make the trip to see her, her best friend sends her brother, Kent, to help Cady celebrate properly. Kent and Cady grew up together but it took them a bit to address the feelings they had always had for each other. I love all the ways that Kent showered Cady with love when they reconnected. This was a great story and a great addition to the series!.

Christmas Eve Birthday! This is about Cady and Kent. Cady is going back home for Christmas like she always does, but every year it is the same thing, so this year she and her BFF made plans to celebrate her birthday all week before Christmas. Kent didn’t realize the issue, but when his little sister called him because she couldn’t make it back home and needed him to fill in for her, he said fine, unknowing what this meant to Cady. Cady’sbirthday is on Christmas Eve, so everyone seems to forget that because they have to tend to Christmas Eve festivities. Kent came through in a big way after reading a 10-year-old Cady diary! It was too sweet.

Everything about this best friend’s brother romance was perfection. I LOVED Cady and Kent!!! Cady just wants to feel special on her birthday, which happens to be Christmas Eve. Kent sees Cady as the woman she has grown in to and will do anything to make her see how special she is to him. I adored him for working so hard to make her birthday one to remember. Their first kiss is scorching hot. The birthday he plans will make you swoon. The ending will require a cool down even while it makes you smile at where they end up. A beautiful and steamy Christmas romance with a grumpy birthday girl and her best friend’s brother.

This was a really sweet best friend’s brother romance. I loved how the story was filled with holiday cheer and yet it was still a little sad. I really enjoyed Cady and Kent's story. Cady is not to happy with her family who seem to always overlook the fact that her birthday is during the Christmas holiday season. Kent is the older brother of her best friend and has always had a crush on Cady. He is unaware that Cady has also had feeling since she was young about him. Kent makes it a point to do do something for her birthday so that she doesn't feel so bad. In spending time together they come to realize thee attraction between them. I love how Kent made a point of doing something special for Cady. A very entertaining read with plenty of passion and chemistry between them. Wonderful HEA.
