"For her love" is a part of the Caribbean Trilogy by Paula Reed. It follows the path of sea captain and mixed blood plantator's daughter. In order to survive and make a living, Giles Courtney has to enchant Grace, a daughter of rich plantator and a black slave. Though lucky for her, she's golden haired beauty, not at all a slave. Because of the cruelty of her father's brother in law when she was a child she's insecure and don't trust men easily. So the captain has to work hard.
It's quite interesting and fast-paced for a historical romance. And sometimes even a tear-jerker :) A worthy read!
Wish I could give this can book a zero. I stop reading when she described the Black lady by her napping head. Secondly, to say that Grace slave slept in a closest and was the only one that lives in the House. To the Author, tell me who is it that you are bringing pleasure to? I certainly doesn't want to be reminded of how my ppl were treated back then by a Romance factional book.
