This series is a lot of fun. I appreciate how well written the characters are in spite of how dumb things usually end up being. Still, the narrative handles things with the right level of earnestness and respect so it feels like I'm right with them appreciating all the chaos at their level. Rather than laughing at them. The difference is small, but I think it makes things a whole lot more fun. For volume 3, we spend most of it prepping for the school festival. There's some high tension moments, but also some heartfelt moments of reflection and growth. I'm still really enjoying this series, and now this wraps up what was adapted in season 1. I'm excited to see where we end up going from here.
Continuing to reread this series. This time out the focus is on Komari and the Tsuwabuki Festival. The Lit Club President and Vice-President will be leaving their offices after the festival - they being 3rd year students who will be studying for their college entrance exams - so the first year students need to step up and plan the festival. Also the Prez is grooming Komari to be the next president so she feels extra pressure. Chaos ensues but all the club members plus assorted other friends, acquaintances, and family members all pitch in and make the festival a success! An interesting addition to the series with less focus on romance and more on relationships.
amazing volume with best girl in the series so far (might be tiara after reading vol 8) and also some strong character development from my goat nukumizu
i also really liked the parts with the lit club and the prep for the festival
