THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS!!

As with the first book, it dragged on a little due to pages of description instead of dialogue and action, but I felt this book did it less than the first and third.

I am so glad Charlotte is doing better and working as a pastry chef. That is like a dream of mine to be a pastry chef and book shop owner near the beach, so it's nice to see an accurate representation of what that looks like, not the romanticized one we always hear about, and that she is enjoying it nonetheless.

I really like Sylvie but am upset that her and Nick seem to be on the rocks. Everyone's relationship on Marina Cove seems to be in shambles and I think it would be more realistic to have at least one person be in a happy, committed relationship and have a somewhat normal life.

I can't believe Brielle and Sebastian. That was truly terrible, and I would feel so hurt if I were Charlotte because that is probably the reason Brielle is so much nicer to her than her other NYC friends. I'm proud of Mariah for recognizing right and wrong and not speaking to her father. I wouldn't be encouraging otherwise if I were Charlotte.

Charlotte and Christian getting back together was one thing, but Ramona and Danny too seem like recycling the same storyline of second chance love.

I feel so terrible for Ramona not getting to go to London because of her siblings, but it was her choice to stay. All of her siblings abandoned the Seaside House, and she could have to, if she really wanted. Despite her trauma and the sympathy I feel for her, I really don't like Ramona in this book or the last one. Maybe it's because I'm a chronic overhsharer, but her keeping literally everything from her family in these two books is absolutely infuriating. It's not even protecting them, it's being selfish and annoying and making matters worse.

I was relieved to find out that their dad was the regular dad that loved them and loved Ella like they thought, but that he was an alcoholic and in debt, and gave John Keamy a lifelong disability. It would've been too neatly tied and wrapped up if he had done nothing wrong at all.

I love that John Keamy and Christian are getting help for their PTSD through a therapist and each other.

I hope Sebastian gets what he deserves. He is written so realistically, and he is so awful.

I'm glad we're seeing more of Lily.

I hope they get beds soon LOL.

A captivating addition to the series that draws readers into the narrative's intimate world. The author's masterful storytelling creates an immersive experience, weaving characters so vividly that readers feel like cherished members of the family. Each page leaves you eagerly anticipating the next chapter, craving deeper connection with the unfolding tale.

Finding hope through heartache, the greater the loss the greater the joy. A new beginning.

This book brought back all the things we go through as a family. The bad choices that follow us threw life, until we find hope and love. I connected in so many ways, almost like the Author knew me and my family's story and I was so touched by this book . I can't wait for the next book!

great read. a family saga. I am now starting the third book in the series.

My moniker is incorrectly listed as disappointed in Colorado. I am no longer disappointed. That was what I wrote about about a book. I reviewed many years ago.

I mostly enjoyed the book, but it became irritating for Ramona to continually keep secrets from her family. It was obvious that her problems would be easier to solve if she just opened her mouth and communicated.

I’m really enjoying this saga of the Keller family. Twists and turns throughout the story. Ready to start book number 3

I finished it because I wanted to know what happened. The plot and idea is really good, it's just the MCs who are so annoying. I won't be continuing the series.
