Life has calmed down for Thorn, and between a wonderful wife, a world to explore, and all his friends finally being in the upper worlds, he is ready to settle down.
All that changes when a mysterious doorway made from an indestructible alloy is discovered by one of the god beasts on Verdant. According to legend, it leads to a mysterious world where heroes are put through a test to determine their strength, and when Thorn and his team head through to explore it, they quickly find themselves facing more than they bargained for.
With the Council of Gods on one side and the Temple of Man on the other, Thorn will have to leverage his strength in ways he never thought possible, all while balancing the various factions at his throat. Yet the Ruins of Renith are more dangerous than any of them know and hold the truth of a terrible ancient curse that has the potential to destroy everything.

Seth Ring is one of my favourite authors, this book is an example, only complaint is I have to long before the next book comes out to see what happens. Hope the quality continues. Story follows from the last book so is easy to pick up,however I would recommend starting the first book if you haven't.
What's a man to do when he needs to wait for his friends to level up? Have fun on a side quest, that's what!
Seriously, though, this was another fun entry in Seth Ring's series. The passing was great and characters were as fun as ever. Looking forward to reading the next book!
I will probably read it again in a week 😁 it was a great story . New friends being made and old friends getting strong enough to group with Thorn. Lots of action and surprises. Can't wait for the next one.
Thorn’s growth continues to put him at another level
Thankfully he has Eve to earn and protect him as he works to avoid the cursed rewards while taking lessons in magic and martial combat from the challenges within one of the towers of the Renith empire ruins. As his power grows, so do the challengers but Roy takes a lot to overpower a Titan, especially the Titan of Earth. Thorn is more interested in growing his skills, abilities and stats than any politics which will be a surprise to the organizations in power within the ruins. Thorn’s competitive nature loves a fun challenge and the ruins of the Renith empire will provide some amazing and deadly challenges for him and his friends. Thorn and the god beasts and his new friend Stello, will shake up the competition with their plan! Well, it’s Thorn’s plan as he is pretty devious for a straightforward titan…
Another fantastic book in the series! Seth creates complex worlds, cultures, and characters. I've read many weak->strong series where the main character is nearly unbeatable after a certain point. This genre tends to have a lot of pitfalls that cause the story to fizzle out, in my opinion. I've read every one of Seth Ring's books, and he has avoided all the pitfalls. I've never lost my interest through any of his books.
If I have to list a negative about the Tower series, it would be that I read each one to fast and have to wait so long for the next.
Book 4 of the Nova Terra: Tower series. As always this book was fast paced with crazy fun development and super powers. I really have enjoyed this series and look forward to the next book. The only thing I would have liked to have seen differently, is Thorn being in truly dangerous situations. There were several threads where Thorn was just that much better than everyone else, even those on track. Overall a great read.
Seth Ring has turned into one of the authors that I drop everything for when a new title of his releases, he's that good. This book was no different. We met new enemies and made more allies, sometimes out of old enemies. Really good stuff. I hope and assume the next book will have the more of the companions we've grown to love over the course of two series. 👍🏽👍🏽
ignition, Tower, book 4 no progression in the story, but growth for the MC.
This was not a bad book per se. There was really no story progression, but power development for the MC. The MC had to go through various test to gain more abilities. A few new characters were introduced but the book was basically a filler. It was enjoyable, now eagerly awaiting the next book.
Thorn and friends explore a ruin that leads them to a world shard, a world fragment that contains the ruins of a long-dead civilization destroyed by jealous rivals. Naturally, Thorn makes some new friends and plenty of enemies. Excellent editing. 4 books thus far remaining.
I honestly read so many books, and it is such a joy when an Author has a refreshing style like Seth. I really enjoy the Tower/Nova Terra series as well as Battle Mage Farmer - great reads!
Seth Ring has always had issues with power creep in his series. It generally ruins the balance and makes the main character a bit of an A hole. This one is no exception.
This spinoff or rather spin up series from Terra Nova was absolutely fantastic. Still it’s a little hard imagining how big a Titan is and people messing with him. Can’t wait for the Farmer and crippled dude next.
I know it’s unreasonable but I wish these books came out faster. I really enjoy the character and the world. I am enjoying the path this story arc is taking and I can’t wait to pick up the next in the series.
This book was sooo good! I love Thorn’s growth, as well as the love and respect he has for his family. I burned through it, now I’m sad that I’m done 😊! Waiting eagerly for the next installment!!!!
This one was a bit of a mess. The motivations of the characters are unclear, except for the overall desire to "get stronger." I'm losing any sense of an overarching goal.
I can't remember Thorne feeling threatened at any point so the OP is still consistent.
Basically a long training montage. No significant advances to the story. MC gets closer to a few of his goals and all his original teammates get stronger outside the reader’s view.
Writing is solid. Editing is good. Looking forward to the story continuing.
Thorn does it again, making new friends along the way. Found the pacing to be perfect with the addition of his old friends a breath of fresh air. Can't wait for the next book!
Thorn and his group are family at this point and I can’t wait to see what happens next!! This series is too of the list for my favourites. Can’t recommend enough!!!
But For a storyteller of your calibre, you sure have a lot of simple text, grammar errors. Things that simple spell check, or actually any computerized system, even ai; will miss. You need a human to proofread
