Adam Carter is too big, too busy, and too tired to ever find the Daddy that he dreams about. He's had his heart broken one too many times to ever want to try again. With his two best friends, his job, and his schoolwork, Adam is fine with how he's living his life. He'd be completely happy if he could stop fantasizing about the two men who've been there for him during his darkest times.
Nash Johnson had been looking for love in all the wrong places. He puts his heart on the line repeatedly, only to be told he isn't worth keeping. Realizing he needs a poly relationship should have been the hard part. It isn't. Nash has just given up on ever finding what he needs until he see Adam at the Rocky Lake Coffeehouse and then is introduced to the hot tattooed giant across the street. Maybe Nash has found what he's been looking for after all.
Lucas Van Blair had barely been in town when he'd spotted trouble at the Rocky Lake Coffee house across the street from his newly opened tattoo parlor. He was in the right place at the right time to save the three boys from the attack, but that night changes everything for Lucas. He's never considered having two partners at the same time but now he can't imagine not having Adam and Nash in his arms, heart, and bed.
I just couldn't get into it. I liked the other books, but this felt a bit too OTT. These guys come together practically on the first page. It didn't hold my interest after that.
Every character in this book was called by the wrong name at least once. There were misspellings and either missing words or added words that didn’t belong.
There’s no excuse. If proofreading or editing costs are an issue, as someone to be an alpha and/or a beta reader. Every book in their catalog has issues. Having a second or their pair of eyes would help.
The Little barista, the cop, and the tattoo artist
I have to say that the really loved this series and the Littles finding their men. I'm really hoping that Mickey gets a book next, cause he deserves a Daddy too. The only negative is that all of these books need serious editing! Like, really serious! I've kind of gotten use to all the issues throughout this author's various books but even I was a bit frustrated in this one. I think the worst of the problems is all the times that the wrong person's name was used. Honestly, just a decent read through should pick up on most of those. I don't really understand why the author isn't more invested in making these as good as possible but ... I'm still giving it 4* because I really love the story and characters but editing would have definitely pushed it to 5*.
I am normally not one to rate after that there is a few spelling mistakes but this book had so many mistakes in it it was driving me nuts… at one point nash was wearing underwear and in the next second he was commando… There was multiple times she wrote the wrong name so you kinda had to figure out that oh she meant nash saids that because it didnt make sense
I normally love this author and the story was really good but way to many mistakes it made it feel sloppy and rushed
Could this have been any cuter? I don't think so!!! I found the guys adorable! I loved that Adam finally got to be the "little" that he was meant to be, and I totally agree with his separate little/boyfriend comfort zone!!! As for Nash? Seriously? He was so busy NOT being a little, that he didn't even think that there are other reasons to have a Daddy!!! And, Lucas was the best all-around Daddy for these two boys!
While the story was entertaining, I didn't think this book could possibly have more grammatical errors than the last two... I WAS WRONG!🤦♀️😭🤬
Now, I am finally ready to read the book that got me started down this "little" rabbit hole... Marshmallow Kisses, and just in time for Valentine's Day!!!
Ok, I usually give Athena’s books 5 stars cause I love the characters and storylines. This one is still the same in that aspect but man, did no one edit this book? Characters were called the wrong names depending on who was suppose to be talking, Nash at one point was called Bash. It’s already confusing when there is a Lincoln and a Lucas, a Carson and a Caden, so when the names are mixed up it gets even harder to follow. Plus, the very first threesome scene, Nash was suppose to have silky lingerie on cause Lucas was excited to see it and then all of a sudden he wasn’t wearing underwear for “easy access” I’m not even halfway thru the book and not impressed with all the errors already.
These always read to me like one of those very old fanfics from wattpad and unfortunately this one also has the typos and inconsistencies that come with it
Not sure if the author just didn't get any editing in or of she was on a tight deadline and was trying to get this out asap but there were more typos and mistakes in this than any of the other 2 together
2 stars… That was sad… found this one in the series to be quite disappointing. I was dragging through it so bad and although I very much enjoyed the dynamic of these three, completely missing how they came together and really started to break through Adams insecurities is some of my favorite part of a romance book like this and we missed it.
I also really liked Adams backstory and his brother coming I got the mix but having Nash get hurt for seemingly no reason and then chase down Adams stepdad felt so weird. I was so happy the cartel thing was over and then we had this. I don’t get the point of making an entire background and story to them not tell us about any of it… seems like a waste of space on the page and a lazy way to try to create suspense. Very disappointing honestly and probably done with this series even if more come out.
Also I have no problems with people doing non sexual age play but it’s really not my cup of tea and was a bit of a bummer for the sexy stuff in this book.
It’s true. I was so excited about this book; I loved the previous two, but switching the names of the characters is really bad. And it didn’t happen just once, it happened at least four times. There were improperly structured sentences, wrong use of tenses, typos for proper nouns (Ls Vegas),as well as choosing the wrong words when using spell correct. The worst crime: instead of investigating it was invaginating (at around 69%). I’m a lady and even I was grossed out a little. Seriously, I’d rather have the release date pushed back a month than read something that amounts to someone half-assing it by typing it out on their phone. Based on the cover quality, I assume the author is doing everything themselves and you can’t edit your own work and do it justice. It’s a bummer, because I love the storyline.
The 3rd installment of this series kind of lacked a bit in character development. Especially with Nash and identifying who he was. The author definitely had him come across as a middle (even though several times in the book Nash said “I’m not a boy”) and not just a potential bratty submissive so, I think it missed its mark with the underdevelopment.
It was a good read even though it lacked a bit of depth to Nash’s character and how he identified himself in the relationship with Lucas and Adam.
Let me start by saying that I love your books. I devoured the Rocky Lake series and I liked that Jackson and Skinner made an appearance too.
I LOVED Nash, Adam an Lucas. This book really had the potential to be the best one in the series. Sadly though, there are just too many errors! Please please please go through the story again and re-edit it from start to finish. It will allow for a much more fun, relaxed and loving reading experience. I'm moving on to Mav and Mickey's book, but I hope you will consider it. Xx
I’m 99% sure I wrote a review for this but it seems to have disappeared. I was so excited for this book and was so looking forward to Adam’s story with his guys. I did enjoy it, definitely, but the amount of mistakes in this is insanity. I understand that the author is self-publishing but this honestly reads like a first draft. Even reading over it one more time could have caught multiple errors.
I have never read a book with so many errors. We’re talking every single page. It’s already confusing sometimes reading MMM in 3rd person but when the author can’t even get the names right it’s even harder. It’s like she typed it out as fast as she could and sent it off to the publisher. There’s no excuse for this. Also I felt 0 chemistry between characters- I cannot believe anyone would give this 5 stars- friends of the author maybe?
I'm 42% into the book and I've lost count of how many times the author has used the wrong character names. I keep getting pulled out of the story because of it. I can only assume that this book wasn't proofread by anyone, author included, because these are incredibly obvious mistakes.
2.75, definitely my least favorite of this series. And the sloppiest in terms of writing. Also ageplay is just not.. my thing. Went in with an open mind and its just not my thing! It can be other people's thing though. The other two books had otner things to keep me interested but this one was just a slog.
DNF. I love this author but this book was just too boring. I don’t think I like any of her poly relationship story. It was a shame coz I like this series but I couldn’t really get into the story

I enjoyed this story with the cop who takes convincing that he is loved and will be wanted in the future, the little one who just needs to regress and have his Daddy and big brother care for him and Lucas who has love and caring to look after them both. Their relationship was very special and it was great to see them all happy in their dynamic and giving each other exactly what they needed. The resolution of some history for Adam was an interesting addition to the story and it was great to see that his happiness at home enabled him to face the past. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MMM story with mature content and a BSDM-like DDLB and D/s dynamics.
- an MMM romance! age gap, age play, instalove, found family trope, forced proximity! - smüt by page 32?! yes plsssss - a lot of peoples reviews were annoyed they got together so quick but like… they’ve been GETTING together for the last two books yannoe - oh poor Nash 🥺 i hate how he thinks he’s not wanted - i love with the Little is big!!! - honestly great smut - Adam’s backstory was so frickin sad man - there were a few mistakes in the last two books but there is SO MANY typos and mistakes in this one… did it go through an editor? - NO ADAM FORGAVE HIS BROTHER WAY TOO QUICKLY - i really love the dynamic the three of them built together - i wish the other boys were in this more.. feels like they featured more in the other books! - such sweet love confessions 🥹 - Adam going back to vegas!! so proud - wanted more background on Lucas tbh - the sex scenes where written really well! - a really lovely ending!! think Nash’s character development was amazing - look the story is 100% 4 stars for me but there WAS SO MANY MISTAKES that i can’t give it more than 3 stars
Definitely pretty bummed about this one. I have loved this series and I did enjoy this story and these three MMCs but there were so many errors in the writing. The previous 2 books had some errors but I could most ignore them, in this book however, it was completely distracting.
There were consistent spelling errors, the wrong characters names were used so much (like multiple times a chapter) and there were a few complete plot holes in different scenes. I truly felt like the author typed this book up and hit publish before even reading through it themself, I just don’t see how it’s possible to have so many errors in a story??
This book had so much potential but was unfortunately ruined but the writing errors ☹️ I may give one of her other books a try in the future but for now I’m going to take a break.
In need of a review, as the book has some names changed and even wrong. Some scenes are a bit confusing.
Overall it's a sweet romance, MMM, a cop, a tattoo artist and a student/barista. No anguish, suspense or action. Of the three books, this is the softest of them all. Not that the others weren't as well, but we had light action and suspense in the first two. But I really liked this one too.
A Boy who doesn't know he's a Boy, insecure, Nash. A Small who has difficulty regressing because of the responsibilities he assumes, with insecurities and low self-esteem, Adam. And a Dad/Dom with a lot of willingness to love, care for and protect his boyfriends, Lucas.
I loved that Adam and his men got their HEA. The first two books were great and Steller is one of my top one click authors. I really like this series.
That said, this one had a lot (like, a lot) of errors and discrepancies. In one of the first scenes, Nash has lace on in one paragraph and the next it said he was commando the whole time. Adam, Nash and Lucas' names were often swapped so I had to go back and reread to see what the correct one should have been. There were quite a few typos and names were spelled multiple ways. It pulled me out of the story a lot, but I still enjoyed reading Adams HEA with his men.
Adam, assistant manager at the coffee shop. Nash, a narcotics detective, and Lucas, a tattoo artist, find each other irresistible. In book 1 we began to see how protective Lucas and Nash are of Adam. By the time of book 3, all three have grown close. When Nash gets hurt on the job Adam and Lucas step in to help take care of him. This MMM story is adorable 🥰 and when Adam regresses it becomes to cute, especially with Nash’s sassiness. Athena Steller did a great job in the story telling of these three men and their relationship. Does Adam get his justice from his past? Well, take a read to find out. This book is 5 star ⭐️ worthy. 💜
Adam works at the coffee shop with Caden and Sam from the two previous books. He is running from his past of abuse and torment. Nash is Lincoln's partner on the narcotics police force. Nash has been teasing Adam for months hoping Adam will break down and allow Nash a relationship. Lucas is a tattoo artist who works in the shop across the street. After the incident at the coffee shop in the last book, it is Nash and Lucas who take care of Adam. This is a throuple relationship and these guys are really made for each other. With their haunting pasts, inner scars and a desperate need to be loved, can all three find the perfect love in each other.
Sam manages the Rocky Lake Coffee house considers himself a bisexual princess. He is very protective of his fellow workers and friends Adam and Caden. Sam gets injured when crime comes to the coffee house and he meets Lieutenant Carson, who is investigating the crime and its criminals. A nice twist in the story as we learn more about Sam is his past and his evil father. Sam sets his sights on Carson and emotions explode into passions. This story is smoothly written, feel good and HEA. A Dd/lb with mature content. 3.5
This book was just as good as the first two in the series but only gave it 4 stars due to several name mistakes in different parts of the book.
Between Bach's relationship hang ups thinking that he would be thrown to the side and Adam's little side that was what Lucas had to deal with to make both of his boys comfortable. This time the police force dealt with Adam's past to bring down his step father and his church. Oh and Adam's brother makes an appearance.
Content warning: this book has a big problem with its proofreading, with misspelled words, wrong words, and some places where the wrong person is in the scene. It’s bad and was obviously rushed for some reason. That said, I really liked this story and the series, although I would have liked this book better if there was a better development of the characters, how they ended up in the city and why they were the way they were, especially Nash. Alls well that ends well, and I would love to read more stories set in this town.
