Can a mis-booked hotel room be the makings of a Christmas miracle?

Dominic Prancer comes from a long line of reindeer shifters responsible for pulling Santa’s sleigh every Christmas. When he’s not flying the sleigh, he’s helping keep the sleighs in tip top shape. He works too hard, which is why Santa demands he take a mandatory vacation.

Silas has been planning this vacation for six months and refuses to let something as silly as a breakup keep him from enjoying it. When he overhears Dominic’s room has been double booked and the omega has nowhere to stay, he offers to share his room with the reindeer shifter.

The two spend an entire week together, enjoying a vacation they both desperately needed. When they need to go their separate ways, Dominic back to the North Pole and Silas back to his suburban home, they realize just how deep their feelings have grown. Can they find each other again in time for Christmas?

Prancer is the third book in the multi-author M/M Shifter Mpreg Christmas romance series Mated at the North Pole, featuring Santa’s reindeer who find their mates while on a mandatory vacation. Prancer features an omega reindeer, an alpha who takes care of everyone but himself, a hotel mishap, and the best kind of present ever—true love, fated mates, an adorable baby, and a guaranteed happily ever after.

Contemporary angst-free fluff and omegaverse are not really for me. But I did enjoy this story for the most part. I sort of would have wanted it to be crazier. If someone had asked me what I was reading and I answered 'mpreg with reindeer shifters' I'm sure they would have imagined something wilder, just as I did. But this was just very sweet and rather mundane. They are shifters but it's all so normal that it just feels like everyday life.

I liked the smut and the whole atypical alpha and omega roles here. The romance is instalove but I'm reading a book about mate bonding so... yeah. It was alright. Overall the story is pretty nice, but a bit forgettable.

A sweet and steamy holiday omegaverse mpreg novella. With a mis booked hotel room, only one bed , and fated mates. Plus an alpha sized Omega paired with a smaller omega sized Alpha .

Super cute. Dom (Prancer) was actually adorable. I loved that he wasn’t the traditional small omega but a strapping reindeer shifter who knew his stuff. Silas was also not the typical alpha, in that he looked like a twink. I loved that little twist.

This book was adorable. Dom and Silas both took a chance and it worked out so well. They were sexy and spicy together and just worked overall.

This was a cute little pre-Christmas read to get me ready for the season.

Book 3 and I'm loving every bit of this delightful series. This one a little different from the norm...Dominic Prancer is one of Santa's lead reindeer...a tall, built and oh so handsome omega who is forced into a vacation by the Santas. I loved how he meets and have an instant connection/attraction to Silas an alpha shifter who is smaller, cute and leaner than him. This is sooooooooooo not typical and it was a delight to read. Throughout the romance, their dilemma is that both wants to be fated mates but are hesitant of the unknown. The climax was sweet and HOT the expectation is high that there will be a wonderful HEA...and it was...**deep sigh with wide smile**

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

I knew I had to grab Prancer. I didn't even look at the blurb, because it was going to be sweet, maybe steamy, and hit the right spots for a Xmas mpreg romance. And it did.
It's on the shorter side, which was perfect and kept the pace of the romance ticking along well. The only one bed trope comes into play here which was great.
I loved how the reindeer thing was worked in with Dom being a sort of celeb. Very cool.
Loved the couple together and how they were the opposite of alpha/omega stereotypes. This alpha also likes to bottom!
Great read

Toby just has a gift of writing the perfect feel-good story! And wow does he not disappoint with this cute feel good Christmas story of two over worked sweeties who happen to end up on vacation in the same place at the same time to fall hard and fast for each other.
What a perfect meet cute of two people who deserve to be loved and cherished as much as they each give back to their communities. It's just a perfect quick Christmas read if you're looking for a no angst read!

Prancer is the third book in the ‘Mated at the North Pole’ collection written by various authors. It stars Silas, an Alpha shark shifter, and Dominic Prancer, an omega reindeer shifter. This is told in first person from Silas and Dom’s povs.

The blurb does a basic run-down of to the plot of this story. If I remember correctly, Silas broke up with his partner before the trip but decided to go on vacation anyway. He meets Dom on the plane ride over and they hit it off. Once at the island Dom finds out there’s no rooms available so Silas says Dom can room with him. From there it’s a forced proximity and get-to-know-you. Since I only read one other book in this series, I don’t know how they handled the world building, but I didn’t care for the way it was covered in this book. Humans knew about Santa and the reindeer shifters that pulled the sleighs. To me that spoils the mysterious magic of a Christmas story. What is the point of having humans aware of there being fifty Santas and reindeer shifters? I didn’t like that idea.

This is the first time I’ve read a book by this author so I don’t know if it’s their usual style of writing, but I didn’t care for it. There were a lot of word errors and a few inconsistencies. At times it seemed there was a mix in tenses, sliding into present tense. There were numerous cliché phrases that are used in other M/M stories. Much of this should have been spotted by the betas/proofers and pointed out. All these errors affected my enjoyment of the story.

I had a difficult time keeping Silas and Dom separate. The reason is that Silas is the Alpha, but Dominic/Dom is referred to as ‘Dom’ and he acts more like an Alpha than an omega, and Silas acts like an omega more often. It also didn’t help that their voices sounded the same. What was strange to me, was why the two wore scent blockers the whole time on vacation until the very end, so they couldn’t tell if the other might be their mate. There really wasn’t a good explanation for the blockers. It didn’t make sense. Other than that, the two seemed to get along well so I could believe in them as a couple.

Prancer was a bit confusing read for me. The world building was different from the other book I read in the series. The word errors, inconsistency, and tense mix-ups added more confusion. I was thrown out of the story every time I came across a problem. This was an okay read, I’ve read better Christmas stories. I’m not sure I’ll read another book by this author. I give this book, 3 Stars.

Dom and Silas's story was such a great romance! Dom is a hard worker, so much so the Santas insisted on him taking a vacation, it's mandatory. Despite him not loving being away from work, he's excited to go soak up the sun.. what he wasn't expecting was to meet someone on the plane.

Silas just ended his 'relationship' with his ex, if you can even call it that. There wasn't any love lost between them, they were basically friends with benefits.. but without the friend part. Despite him not being upset about his relationship ending, he is bummed he'll have to spend his couples vacation alone. Until he meets Dom and quickly becomes enrapture by them. He won't have to spend his vacation alone after all.

Toby's books are always so sweet and well written, he knows what to do and he does it well. There's no angst, or betrayal, there's a ton of fluff and sugar sweetness. That's what Toby does, and when it comes to Tony's shifter books? They are always so, so good! I liked our two MC's, they were both very different but complimented the other beautifully.

Something I really enjoyed was how Toby flipped the script on 'traditional' alpha and Omega roles. I've read so many books where the Alpha is big and bad, and the Omega is small and dainty, and while I do enjoy reading those, I appreciated the fact that Toby reinvented the mould.

Silas and Dom is so cute together, reading about all their vacation adventures made me smile and wish I was lounging on a beach with them! My favorite part is when Silas was in his shifter form, I just thought that scene was described really cutely!!

This isn't your typical holiday book, meaning that it doesn't take place somewhere snowy, the setting for this is at a beach. However, that doesn't take away from the magic that occurs between the pages of the story.

I wish that we got to have a scene where their baby shifted.. so then we could know if they had a baby reindeer in their hands or a baby shark, but overall it's Soo cute!

After The Fantastic Start To The Series, We Get This!

I have read this book via Kindle Unlimited, like the previous books that I enjoyed so much that I purchased them.
Sadly, I then get to read this novel which I disliked from page 14. But I stuck with it and read the whole nauseating story.
Dom Prancer - omega - tall, broad and Dom, he also acts as the Alpha in the bedroom. Flying Reindeer shifter.
Silas - Alpha - who prefers to be Submissive to Dom, and acts as the omega in the bedroom. Shark shifter.
They meet up at the airport prior to their individual holidays.
For whatever the reason, even though they both are getting on very well, and sharing their accommodation, they both use blockers so they can't smell each other, as they don't want to find out if they are fated mates.
Surprise, surprise, they are.
In my opinion, the plot was very weak, the author thought they were giving a twist on a format he obviously doesn't like.
His disdain for the story shone through, as at one point Silas was a shark shifter, but then this changed to just Prancer being the shifter.
Also, how come all humans are aware of all Santa's teams of reindeer, and are well known amongst the humans, yet this was denied in the first several books in this series.
For me, I won't be purchasing this book but will be returning it back to Kindle Unlimited.
I'll also be giving Toby Wise a miss too.
Unfortunately, I found his style of writing is rather derisory to the Omegaverse and Shifterverse.

Omega Dominic Prancer comes from a long line of reindeer shifters responsible for pulling Santa’s sleigh every Christmas. When he’s not flying the sleigh, he’s maintaining them. He works too hard, which is why Santa demands he take a mandatory vacation. Doctor and Alpha Silas had been planning this vacation for six months and refused to let something as silly as a breakup keep him from enjoying it. When he overhears Dominic’s room has been double booked and the omega has nowhere to stay, he offers to share his room with the reindeer shifter. When they need to go their separate ways, Dominic back to the North Pole and Silas back to his suburban home, they realize just how deep their feelings have grown. Can they find each other again in time for Christmas?

This was a sweet story of attraction, lust, fated mates and how all their wishes can come true. This was a slightly slower instalove story mostly because they both used scent blockers. Santa knows all which is also very true when it comes to putting mates in the right location at the right time and in working out that there was also MPREG involved. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content set in the omegaverse including MPREG.

This is my second Mated at the North Pole story in this multiauthor series. I quite enjoyed the worldbuilding. In Wise' world, shifters are known and accepted. Prancer is also quite the celeb in this world. An omega reindeer, he not only is a lead for one of the Santa's teams; he also is the person in charge of sled maintenance. He lives to work. It's only when he's forced to take a vacation that he does. Silas, an Alpha, is a busy GP and Omega GYN. He ha little time for relationships, his current boyfriend breaking off with him before their couple's holiday. Non-refundable.
They meet on the last leg of their journey. Attraction is immediate. A lost reservation leads to them sharing a room. And falling in love.
A little different from the common Alpha/Omega story. Silas is often mistaken for an Omega. Prancer outwardly appears to be an Omega. This true mates, size difference, one bungalow (rather than one bed), friends-to-lovers-to-mates story is light and fun to read.
Very enjoyable. Loving the reindeer and their partners.
I received an advance copy of this book and this is my review.

Prancer

******* Spoiler Alert ******a
I had never read Toby Wise before. Loved this book! Prancer unlike the last two, (not that there is anything wrong with those), found itself in a warm climate with freshwater. Which was super important for Silas. Silas, a doctor taking a trip, also happened to be a shark.
From the moment the 2 get on the plane, their connection is obvious especially when they are both wishing for more time together. Their wish comes true ( courtesy of the Santas, I am sure!) When there is a mix-up and Prancer's reservation never made it through, Silas steps up and off they go to their hut. They click easily and soon things become heated after a couples massage. They practically ran back to the hut where things turned erotic. Let's just say they enjoyed they completely enjoyed themselves on their trip. They both need to go home but what is next? I have left out alot ....in fact some really important stuff in order for you to read the book because this book is definitely worth it! 👌
A MUST READ! 📚

What a sweet read. Dom Prancer was forced to take a mandatory vacation by the Santa’s to an island getaway. Silas broke up with his long term partner right before they were set to go away on a vacation. When Silas saw him at the airport, he was really hoping that he was his seat mate, and he was. They got to talking on the plane and hit it off. When they got to the resort, Dom was told that there a glitch in their reservation system and he didn’t have a room. When Silas overheard that, he offered to share his room. This started their story into a great relationship to realizing they are mates. Great world building with high heat and steam. Love this world and looking forward to reading more in this world,

Prancer is part of a multi-author holiday series - give Santa's reindeer's mandatory vacation time and watch them fall in love.
Dom Prancer is in a predicament. His hotel has double booked his room, however help comes in form of Silas who offers Dom to share his room.

This book is the second book I've read in this series, and I love the author didn't keep the roles traditional. Dom is not your typical omega. He IS one of Santa's reindeer and outwardly looks like an alpha. Silas is often mistaken for an omega, due to his smaller stature.
This installment is an easy, feel-good, no-angst holiday read.

"We smell like we belong together...You smell like mine."

Toby Wise always hits the sweet spot with their cutesy novellas. Silas and Dom's story definitely fits that bill. There is the perfect amount of sweet and heat with basically zero angst. This is just a feel good Christmasy story about a reindeer shifter workaholic and another workaholic doctor named Silas - I won't reveal his shifter because it was a fun surprise and I enjoyed trying to guess before we found out.

I thought their meet cute was adorable and fun. Their dynamic was also interesting with Silas being a twinky alpha and Dom a muscle bound omega. It made for some great steamy times.

É uma leitura F(. . .), desculpe pela palavra, eu amei 🖤. . .
Amei! Viva o Natal. 🥰🤭 que venha o próximo livro. . . Boa Leitura 😘

Sweet and Hot!

I really enjoyed Dom and Silas's story. They meet on an airplane flying to the same beach resort. When they get there they find that Dom's reservation has been lost (the Santas strike again!). Silas offers to share his bungalow and the two spend the week getting to know each other in and out of the bedroom. I like the reversal that Dom was a muscular Omega and Silas was more of a twinky Alpha. I also liked that Silas was a shark shifter. You don't see that very often. I liked the build up to whether these two were really fated mates or not. Dom and Silas were super sweet and oh so hot.

This novella is part of the multhiauthor series Mated at the North Pole, where each author gets to tell a story about the reindeers shifters that work with Santa.
Dom an Silas meet each other when both go to a beach resort to enjoy some relaxing time. Because There`s trouble with Dom reservation, Silas offfers to share his hut.
This should be awkward, with two strangers sharing space, but in reality it feels domestic and wonderful. Both MC aren`t the most standard Alpha and Omega, and that works perfectly too.
Very sweet tale, a short book to enjoy some Christmas magic.

Like many of Toby Wise's books, this is a fun, fluffy, low angst and steamy romance. It was short and quick to read. The MCs, Dom (Prancer) and Silas (shark shifter), meet on a long deserved vacation and feel completely comfortable with each other. I love the description of the setting; would I ever love to vacation there! They wonder if they are true mates. When I pick up a book by Toby Wise, I always know I will enjoy it, and this one did not disappoint.

So much fun!!!

I am so loving this series. I love the reindeer being forced to go on vacation. This book is Silas and Prancer's story. They go someplace warm and sunny for their vacation which I have to admit sounds pretty nice right now. I like that this book has a little more shifting from the shifter characters. I love that Silas is an aquatic animal shifter. Even though these books are all written by different authors, every one has been so much fun to read. I definitely recommend the entire series!

Silas & Prancer

I thoroughly enjoyed this fast paced but beautifully written Christmas story. Who would have thought I like the reindeers so much?

Character breakdown;

Prancer: I like that Prancer isn’t the typical omega esque. I also liked how thoughtful and fatherly he was to the younger reindeer, he would be amazing father.

Silas: first that he was a shark shifter! Love that, and I loved how he did not mind being the “twink” in the relationship made it fun that way.

Soft, sweet and steamy 8.9/10 ⭐️

This is a fun, sweet and a bit hawt. 🔥❤️‍🔥 Dom and Silas are neither the typical build for their secondary designation but that makes them perfect for each other. These two fall in lust..and love..very fast and are both desperate to find a way to make it work after their vacation is over. I fell in love with these characters and read this story pretty quickly. It is a fast read and it worth it. These North Pole books have all been good so far. I can’t wait to read the next one!

This series is so unique and addictive! Here we get Dom who is the omega who is a strong, over dedicated reindeer for Santa. He is on a forced vacation. Silas is a smaller Alpha on a getaway on his own. Silas is the super sweet one and he shares his room, and his bed, wink, wink, with Dom! Yes, it is that favorite trope of mine when there is just one bed! The romance and the Christmas spice flow nicely and it just a very warm and fun holiday novella!

A reindeer and a shark walk into a resort...

Another of Santa's reindeer bites the true mate dust. I was enchanted from the first pages. Dom...Prancer...and Silas's attraction is as immediately intense as it is inevitable. I could feel the emotions rolling off them. The sex is incredibly hot. They are so easy together. And, yes, there are consequences to not using condoms. Very adorable consequences. I loved this book! You need to get it...Now!

Prancer is part of the multi-author Mated at the North Pole series. This book definitely gets you into the season of holiday romance. This is an enjoyable steamy story about Dom Prancer, a reindeer shifter, who is sent on a mandatory vacation, and Silas, a shark shifter who isn't going to let a breakup ruin his vacation plans. I loved watching Dom and Silas meet and find love and happiness together. I recommend this book and series.

This is a very cute flirty book. A classic forced proximity setting at a sun holiday.

I liked that the pair didn't have classic alpha and omega characteristics. The omega was physically like an alpha and was in a very responsible leadership position at his job.

I do wish that there was more Christmas festivities. I understand that's hard to do on a sun holiday but it felt like Christmas just got put in at the end of the book.

Super cute holiday read!

I loved this - Dom and Silas were such a good match and such fun characters. I liked that they bucked the traditional stereotypes and were very much their own people. Plus the no room/one bed trope is a favourite of mine this time of year which made this extra cute. Dom and Silas were so sweet together and I loved getting to see them fall in love. Definitely a fun bit of holiday reading to put you in the holiday spirit!
