Can’t recommend this highly enough for perverts, queers, people of a certain age, all people.

The book was recommended to me at my local, queer book store (https://www.thebeautifulidea.gay) when I asked if there was an updated or more modern version of The Ethical Slut. I am an caging dyke in the same generation as Hardy,, the poignant wisdom that will stay with me, be one of my guides through the rest of my life. Not the first time, as Ethical Slut was equally beloved, useful, life changing. Her writing, life and stories make it feel like guidance from an older, wiser friend, love that.

Fantastic. Mostly I celebrate/am at peace with the fact that I will probably never get to get old (old-old); pretty sure I'll die from climate change etc. before that. Of course, it had many interesting things to say about pain. There were also interesting comments on grief, beautiful insights about friendship, plenty of funny and interesting stories and anecdotes. A lot to think about. I'm glad I read this book when and where I did.
