På ordre af sin mester sendes Albino til den kunstige planet Halkattraz sammen med sit trofaste dyr Tinigrifi. Han er tvunget til at gå på bødlernes teknoseminarium, den mest forfærdelige skæbne, men kan forestille sig. Aldonzo håber, at Albino vil blive galaksens grusomste vogter. Da han ankommer til den kunstige stjerne, mister Albino kontakten til Eldonzo og er overladt til sin egen skæbne på Halkattraz. De virkelige problemer starter med et angreb af en kæmpe, på samme tid dyrerobot og maskine, som sætter den unge Albino på en hård prøve. Det lykkes imidlertid Albino at vinde en storslået kamp. Hans sejr vækker opmærksomhed hos den samling bødler, der står for at teste de nye elever. Efterhånden som han presses ud i kriminalitet og ondskab, sættes Albinos moral på en enorm prøve. Hvilke valg kan han forventes at tage?

Better known for his surreal films El Topo and The Holy Mountain filmed in the early 1970s, Alejandro Jodorowsky is also an accomplished writer of graphic novels and a psychotherapist. He developed Psychomagic, a combination of psychotherapy and shamanic magic. His fans have included John Lennon and Marilyn Manson.

Art is good. Story is... well, a bit repetitive. The same narrative trope is repeated volume after volume without much originality (or point) in advancing the plot. Oh no, life gets worse! Oh wait, it's worse yet! Sigh.

I really like this specifically

Je m'effor�ai de guider, tel un pal�o-Mo�se, mes 500 000 jeunes pantechnos vers la Galaxie promise, pour y fonder une nouvelle soci�t� harmonieuse. Ebloui par l'espoir, je commis une grave erreur : � la vue de cette merveilleuse plan�te verte tournant autour de son soleil moribond, je crus avoir trouv� l'endroit idyllique que nous avons tant cherch�. J'autorisai mes disciples � d�barquer. Le parfum enchanteur et l'air tr�s pur �taient comme du miel � leurs poumons, martyris�s par l'atmosph�re artificielle de notre vaisseau...
