Where was the romance? It’s somewhat a short read but half of the book was about the H’s father infidelity.
And the h’s stalker? I wanted to see the MCs together in action, not the H trying to bring another girl around the club because he thought the h was with another guy 🙄

I love the whole Evil Dead MC series, so happy for the 2nd generation books.
I absolutely love Billy and Melissa story. Waiting was so hard for them but there was no other options loving the presence. Daughter is difficult when she is off-limits and Billy is a prospect and on-call 24 seven. Melissa feels she has never number one in Billy’s life. Then one day she does not have to worry about that but is it really what she wants?
I felt sad, and when the worst thing happened to Billy, it was his dream, I was shattered
Billy must choose between the larva life and the love of the patch.
Nicole James gives us examples of how “ sins of the father” can affect two families
Bill and Melissa encounter many ghosts from both their parents passed hell-bent on making them pay for their parents sins.
I can’t wait for TJ‘s book.

YASSS! Billy is exactly what I was expecting from an Evil Dead MC spin-off. James has effortlessly incorporated the first generation with the next that I am giddy for the following books to come in this series!
This storyline had so many tropes and elements that I didn’t want to put it down. I was totally hooked! Melissa and Billy brought a ton of spark and a desperate longing for one another that elevated my eagerness in seeing their relationship take that ultimate romantic step faster.

There was a perfect mix of romance and suspenseful MC elements throughout. The coinciding plotlines of Billy and Melissa’s evolving relationship, and Billy’s commitment and loyalty to his club made it a weighty romance read. James included some emotional scenes that I hadn’t expected to tear-up reading this book, but I did. I SO DID.
*squeeeeee* If you’re a fan of the OG series; Evil Dead MC, then you know Billy and Melissa were a long time coming… and after reading their story, I can say with absolute surety that it’s well worth the wait. It almost felt like coming full circle with the Evil Dead MC characters not only making an appearance but playing pivotal roles in both Billy and Melissa’s lives.
From Cole to Crash, to Red Dog, Wolf, and Green. To their wives and even certain blasts from the pasts had me reeling. Complete lightbulb moments that totally elevated my already enjoyable reading experience. The world-building is beautifully done. James has taken the Evil Dead MC world and branched it out, introducing more of the outside world to their dangerous one. I like the contrast. Seeing Melissa outside of her upbringing and into a whole new setting added a nice change of scene.
Although it’s an MC romance, the level of darkness and grit are on the milder side. However, there are certain sensitive plot points that may be triggering for some readers. It deals with unwanted sexual advances, stalking, kidnapping, and includes violence. There are also minor backstories that broaches on health (specifically dealing with cancer), as well as infidelity. (Both life events occurred off-page).
It’s a relatively quick read yet well-paced storytelling. Billy and Melissa are truly likable leading characters. With their deep-rooted history, there was a real sense of genuineness to their evolving relationship from childhood friends to lovers. A little action and suspense. A little sizzle and spice. All good things, all good things.
This book also segues to the next one in line and I’m already counting down the days until I get to read it. I’m really enjoying seeing James intertwine her past MC books and characters, and even from another book series into this new series. There is an array of layers because of it, and it definitely has me wanting to reread those books. But if you’re new to James’ writing, the books in this series all read as standalone stories. You don’t have to have read Evil Dead MC prior to starting this one, but I do highly recommend it for extensive knowledge of relationships present and for an overall fuller reading experience.
All in all, I loved it. I’m still wrapping my head around Billy and Melissa all grown and falling in love, but their HEA was bliss to witness! The ups and downs, the secrecy, the unpredictability, along with the strong familial bonds and friendships that James is so good at incorporating into her books makes this one addictive, paging turning read!

Billy, is has been trying to patch in with the Motorcycle Club - Evil Dead, for awhile. His father Red Dog, is a long time member. He and 2 of his closest friends are also club prospects. They are just waiting and doing their grunt work/jobs daily, hanging on by a string. Billy isn't sure how much longer he can take being a club prospects.
Melissa, her dad, Cole, is actually the president of the Evil Dead MC. Melissa and Billy have known each other since they were teenagers. They have always stayed away from one another, but, the past year or so they have been sneaking looks at one another and kissing every once and awhile. But, both know they can't be with each other.
Melissa is going to college, starting her 2nd year at a local college about 1/2 hr from her parents house and the club house. Melissa runs into an ex one night, and tells her brother TJ about it and of course that upsets Billy. Melissa also has a stalker that only the prospects - TJ & Billy know about. TJ doesn't want to tell their father, he feels they can handle protecting her.
Billy wants to be close to her to protect Melissa but also knows that being close to her he will do something - kiss her, hug her, put them both in harm's way of the club. But, Billy knows he has to be around her, he has to protect Melissa.

But she’s Cole’s daughter who is also the MC president and sister to his best friend.
So it’s hands off her times two.
I adored Billy he’s a sweetheart and tries to avoid trouble whenever he can.
He loves the club and the men in it. But there aren’t making it easy to patch him in.
He’s been a prospect for much longer than normal. And he’s put through the wringer.
All because of Cole. He’s being stubborn and just plain mean.
I really disliked him and the way he took advantage of Billy and his position of power.
Melissa is a nineteen year old college student.
She’s typical and doesn’t stand out except that she an MC princess.
I found her a bit immature and most especially when she was throwing around ultimatums.
She grew up in the MC world and knows what the life was about.
But when she had it out with Cole I started to see her point of view.
Her and Billy really had no real issues other than what Cole was putting them through.
I loved how they were willing to give up on things and people they loved for each other.
The story took a twist I didn’t see coming and made things more interesting and exciting.

EDMC second generation
I have to say I love this series so much and now reading the next generation of bikers. I’m writing reviews for 2 books and the 1st one is Marcus who is a prospect and is sent to look for Christmas snack cakes and he meets a girl named Brandy. Brandy works as a bartender but her dream job is to write an opera. She hides a secret that she comes from a rich family. Marcus has no father and was raised by a mother who didn’t care for him. His two friends are prospects also but their fathers are members of the San Jose mc. This story has you laughing at all the members of the club. But Marcus falls for Brandy and knows she is the one for him. The 2nd is about Billy who father is Red Dog an original member of the club. Billy has been prospecting the longest and wants his patch but most of all he wants a girl named Melissa. She is the daughter of the MC Pres and her twin brother is a prospect also. They want each other but know that can’t be allowed. When Melissa goes college she has someone stalker her and doesn’t want to let her father know. Her friend calls her brother to tell him what’s happening and Billy wants to help. These books you won’t want to put down.

Sins of the Father: Billy was such an action packed, drama filled, angsty, and spicy book. I loved the multiple POV’s that were in this book. This book is a MC romance that touches on dark topics and themes. The world that was created for these characters was written beautifully, kept me turning the pages to see what was going to happen next and the storyline was original. I loved the characters, they were complex and had undeniable chemistry. My heart broke for both the MMC and FMC for many reasons throughout this book. I really wished there was more comeuppance for a few characters in this book but who knows what will happen in the next book!!!
Melissa was a free spirit and independent. She knew what she wanted and was determined to get it. Billy was loyal, dedicated to his friends and family and just trying to do the right thing. I loved the paths they took together and separate. Their chemistry was exciting and kinda dangerous. I loved their forbidden love story. BILLY: Sins of the Father (Evil Dead MC - SECOND GENERATION) 5 stars due 11/14/23
Billy & Melissa
They love each other but as a prospect, he can't have a relationship with the club Princess. He's always wanted to earn the patch and does everything to earn it--including resisting Melissa--making it even more vital.
I have to say I wanted to do something to knock sense and fairness into the President. Why? No spoiler you'll have to read it to find out.
I love the couple and feel for their dilemma. This is a touching story with all the emotions drawn from the reader. Will waiting so long for their chance make it impossible for them? How will all handle news from the past that could affect the first family? Are their feelings secret? If not, are they supported by those in the club aware?
Danger is always part of an active club. Who will protect those targeted? Lots going on. Warning, once again I'm glad I got stock in tissues. Need them again for this one. Try to set aside reading time for this because you won't want to have to put it down until the end.

I have to say I wanted to do something to knock sense and fairness into the President. Why? No spoiler you'll have to read it to find out.
I love the couple and feel for their dilemma. This is a touching story with all the emotions drawn from the reader. Will waiting so long for their chance make it impossible for them? How will all handle news from the past that could affect the first family? Are their feelings secret? If not, are they supported by those in the club aware?
Danger is always part of an active club. Who will protect those targeted? Lots going on. Warning, once again I'm glad I got stock in tissues. Need them again for this one. Try to set aside reading time for this because you won't want to have to put it down until the end.

Billy finds himself still trying to prove himself to his father and the Club. Billy, TJ and Marcus are still prospecting for the Club and are getting over it. It seems Cole is delaying their being patched in and it seems to have something to do with Billy and Melissa. Melissa and Billy have had a thing for each other since they were children. It seems Cole isn't quite ready for that to be a reality. Billy knows he needs to just hold a little bit longer and he may get everything he wants. Melissa isn't so ready to let things go. She is constantly questioning Billy and wanting him to prove she comes first. For a girl who grew up in the life, it was kind of confusing that she was acting that way. She seemed to not understand that Billy was caught in the middle. It was a middle she kept putting him in. She wasn't at risk of giving anything up so I felt she was unfair. I did think Cole was being ridiculous and that one of the guys needed to smack some sense into him. Their story was interesting, but felt it was missing something for me.

This is a well written story which is an action packed, emotional roller coaster, with danger, suspense, friends / lovers’, drama, family, friendships, loyalty, forbidden love, off limits romance, consequences, and love, which leads to an entertaining, haunting, twisted, unpredictable, and steamy addictive page turner, which had me on tenterhooks throughout.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

This story has tons of action and a good amount of suspense that will keep you guessing "whodunnit" all the way to the end. Billy and Melissa have some great chemistry and anyone who is a fan of the Evil Dead are going to fall right in. Really looking forward to TJ's book next - he is going to be falling for Gigi, Jameson's daughter from the Brother's Ink Tattoo series. Can't wait!

Evil Dead MC
Years ago I seen a book and starter it and loved it, it was outlaw and I have read every book in that series. Then I seen Marcus in the vella on kindle. I checked everyday for a new episode and read the whole thing. Then Marcus book came out even though I had read it in the vella I got the book. Now I just finished Billy and I loved it. I'm so glad for the 2nd generation books. I love the whole Evil Dead MC series. I can't wait for TJ book and to get a bit of Jameson oh yes. I loved that series to. Well heck I love all Nicole James books. I have read every one of them. So with that said what are you waiting for READ this book. You will not be disappointed. And to Nicole James thank you for your hard work in being such an amazing author and bringing these guys to life in between the pages of your books they are all amazing.

Billy is the second book in the EVIL DEAD MC: SINS OF THE FATHER-SECOND GENERATION series. This is Billy and Melissa's story. It was a long time coming for sure. Melissa was a free spirit and independent. Billy was loyal, dedicated to his friends and family and just trying to do the right thing. Their chemistry was exciting and kinda dangerous. I loved their forbidden love story. OMG the road that they have to take is full of drama, love and club responsibility. I highly recommend this book and author. It's a MUST READ!!!!!! Keep up the amazing work! Can.t wait to read more from this series.

Billy is book 2 in the Evil Dead MC second generation series. This one is Billy and Melissa's story and it's a fantastic forbidden romance. Billy is a prospect and is Red Dogs son and Melissa is the daughter of the President and we all know that's a line you don't cross. The chemistry is completely undeniable and smoking hot. This story is intense, intriguing and emotional. There's lots of drama and excitement, danger, twists and turns. As always with this author, she brings us characters and a storyline that will consume us from start to finish. Excellent addition to the second generation.

What an amazing read. I thoroughly enjoyed the journey Nicole James took us on with Billy’s book. Once I started I couldn’t put it down, definitely a page turner. I absolutely loved Billy and Melissa’s story ❤️❤️❤️ Waiting was so hard for them but there were no other options. I felt saddened when the worst thing happened to Billy, it was his dream, I was shattered. Loved it!! I must read for Evil Dead
In this book, you see a lot of familiar faces welcoming you back to the world of the Evil Dead.
You’ll see a grown-up Billy, and a grown-up Melissa.
Billy must choose between the love of his life and the love of the patch
They encounter many ghosts from both their parents past hell-bent on making them pay for their parents sins
This book does have a happy ending and I really enjoyed it.
Outlaw is one of my favorite reads, and I find my going back to it and rereading it again and again, so I really enjoyed this one.

♥️Love Evil Dead♥️
MC romance is my favorite genre. Sometimes when you get a second generation series going, it loses a lot of what made the MC series unique. This is not the case with the evil dead second generation, Ms. James you did an awesome job of staying true to what made your series unique begin with. Billy and Melissa’s story actually made you dislike Cole and I honestly did not think he could redeem himself in my eyes. I highly recommend this series however, I recommend reading the original stories first.

I love this "next generation" series. Just a couple of negatives were the "fall out" section. Did I miss something? Never read where Billy lied to Cole, unless the inference of "omission" was the lie and not the actual act. In fact, it was well stressed that Billy wouldn't lie to Cole, no matter what. And what about the others? No repercussions for them? Because of that it seemed a bit forced. And what happened afterward, also rushed. With that in mind, the story was a great escape as every book should be.
I read this via Kindle Unlimited and consider it well worth my and $$.

But there is more trying to stop them from being together. So enjoy another good read and see how they handle the trouble!!

I loved how much Billy loved Melissa. He was willing to sacrifice everything for her. She did annoy me in a couple of scenarios, but I chalked that up to her age, but she had her mans back when it counted.
I thought Cole was a dick and needed a throat punch😅 Angel was way too nice to him when he was 100% in the wrong.
All in all, I enjoyed this book and would recommend it.

I loved the OG series but this 2nd gen is really taking hold of my heart. Billy and Melissa were always meant to be. Their deep, true love conquers all sorts of obstacles that get thrown in their way.
You are going to root for this sweet young couple the entire book. Mystery, intrigue, MC drama, old friends and enemies and a heartwarming HEA. LOVED it!!!!!

These two are so stinking cute together and their chemistry is off the charts. I cheered for Billy and Melissa from they very beginning and I'm so happy they never have up on each other. I love Cole to death, but that man had me wanting to knock him upside the head. I'm so glad he saw the huge mistake he was making and made it right. I can't wait to get my hands on TJ's story.

I lie the author and the reading about the the Evil Dead MC second generation - their kids.
Billy and Melissa tap dance around each other for years. Unforseen circumstances push them closer but I had a hard time with those connection. I thought the characters needed more and Billy really showed what he was the last few chapters. I loved reading the struggles he faces for love.

Billy: Sins of the Father is the second book in Nicole James series Evil Dead MC - Second Generation. I loved reading and following Billy and Melissa's off limits romance. A club prospect and the president's daughter, where they could lose everything. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.
