While picking up a few Christmas presents at Harbour Centre the day before going home for break, I spotted this book at the SFU bookstore and chuckled through the first few pages. For example, the front endpaper includes drawings of the woman choking another woman, projectile crying, and holding two bottles labeled "liquor" and "more liquor," while the back endpaper features drawing of the woman doing yoga, giving a sparkling smile, and projectile hearting.

A couple weeks later I was still intrigued by the comic pairing of "advice" and accompanying line drawings, so I found a copy available for $1 on Ebay, and had it sent to me. There are severable laugh-out-loud pages, such as:
Day 11: Time to turn to a higher order: self-help books.
Day 40: Think about him farting.
Day 41: Sign up for an acting class. You're going to run into him sooner or later, so you'd better learn how to act indifferent.
Day 86: Ignore any friends who have a new romantic interest or who have "all of the sudden" fallen in love. All they'll want to do is talk about how food tastes better now, and the sun shines brighter. It's revolting, really. (Word balloon on accompanying drawing: "I'm so sorry for you. But it won't last. Never does. Pass the shrimp, please.")
Despair not, Day 100 reviews the larger lessons in a charming close to the book.

Hoping to use soon in a blog post on Bookish! Released by Quirk Books, later publishers of the "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" books. : )

This book is a hilarious read. I loved it because a lot of us think about some out of this world stuff when we break up and it was so refreshing to not be alone in this and to see the even crazier suggestions in this book. It was a nice pick me up. :)

I found this book in DG. Although I read it in minutes, it was so funny.
