Poetry is not normally my cup of tea, but this collection by E.F. Rose, ECHOES, was fantastic! If you have emotions you will feel the same way. Cover to cover you will run a gambit of feelings! One poem you’ll want to punch the man who broke her heart, the next you’ll feel sorrow and loss, and at one point I felt I needed a cold shower.

There are not verses of some starry-eye school girl or the moaning of some goth/emo/hipster! This is poetry as is should have always been. They are the passion and soul of a woman who has seen and survived life at its best and worst.

Personally, I don't follow or read poetry. I know plenty who do and admire their passion, and the charisma and devotion that E.F. Rose shows in her poetry convinced me to read her collection. I couldn't stop. I really couldn't. The poems aren't mere words on a page, but thoughts and feelings conveyed brilliantly through the author. E.F. Rose assembled a variety of poems in her book. One poem would make me smile while another one would leave me sad. As a person who doesn't normally read poetry, I found them easy to read and understand. I think this is a fantastic debut by E.F. Rose and I look forward to reading all of her upcoming works!

Wow, was the one word that kept coming to mind as I read the poems in this book. These poems are deep. They are full of passion but also pain. The person in these poems has been through it all. Once I started reading, I couldn't wait to get to the next poem. These poems have it all.

The cover of the book goes right along with a lot of the poems. Once you read it, you will see what I mean. I bought this book because I got a chance to chat with the author through an online event and was intrigued. I'm glad I bought it; as it surely didn't disappoint.

I would buy more poetry from this author and would recommend this to anyone. 5 stars all around.

Echoes
This is a well put together book of poetry. I loved the cover how the faces seem to echo all over the cover, like your voice echoes. The poetry itself is a mixture of poems, which makes it very interesting. You read one, you can't wait to flip the page and see what's next. I love poetry and I really enjoyed reading Echoes. If you enjoy poetry, I strongly recommend this book. This book is definitely a 5 star book.

Rage and hate, lust and sinister, this is a wide variety of beautifully written poems. Rose writes about betrayal and love, murderous intentions and actions, beauty and sorrow. Each poem ranges from dark and dangerous, to lusty and all in between. A wonderful collection.

It was sad at time and scary at times. It was a very emotional book of poetry. I loved it.
