But after they bump into an old friend from high school – along with an enigmatic drifter who’s hunkered down in their cabin for the winter – the sisters soon realize that their Christmas vacation is about to take a surprising turn. With a fearsome storm on the horizon, they all prepare to wait out the bad weather.

Twin sisters, Becca and Adria, have decided to sale the cabin they always spent Christmas with their mother. Their mother died 2 years ago so they have they decide to spend one last Christmas at the family cabin before selling it. There is a lot of snow & their car stalled. Devin, now a divorced attorney lived close to their cabin came to their rescue and got them to their cabin safely. He couldn’t believe they tried to make it there in the car they were driving! When they arrive at the cabin, someone was in the cabin and no one should. Who is this person & what are they doing there? While they are trying to find out who he is it starts snowing. It turns out he’s an artist that is down on his luck & his wallet is missing & his truck is broke down. He says his name is Liam so they decide to believe him for now. It has snowed so much while they’ve been talking no one can go anywhere, even Devin’s dogs won’t go out so Devin has to stay there too. They decide they can’t put him out in the extreme cold. They decide to trust him for now. He was raised in an orphanage & was never adopted so he never had a real Christmas. They decide to include him in everything they did. They wanted to give him areal Christmas. They spent the day putting up a tree & decorating it & putting up all the other decorations. They were exhausted so the guys went to bed. The twins stayed up to talk, but fell sound asleep. Everyone woke the morning to a mess! What happened? Did someone break in? Who created this mess?. More mysteries to be solved. Can’t wait for the next book!

Adria & her twin sister Becca go to the family cabin in Seneca Falls Michigan, intending to have one last Christmas there together before selling the cabin their mother left behind when she died. The twins aren't identical in looks or mannerisms- Adria is down-to-earth, and Becca is a supermodel. A snowstorm hits, and their car gets stuck in the snow. A childhood friend, Devin, happens upon them and loads up the girls and all their luggage and drives them to the cabin. When they arrive, they find Liam inside - an univited guest who has set himself up to paint and sleep in one of the rooms. It turns out that his truck broke down, and with the snowstorm, he needed a place to stay. Devin isn't happy about it, but as he goes to leave, he discovers the storm has worsened and no one is going anywhere. Devin and Becca had been close friends in school, but he always carried a torch for Adria. Adria always thought he liked Becca, and kept her attraction to Devin a secret. Now they are trapped in a cabin together; Liam seems like he likes Adria, and she thinks he's nice, but has no feelings for him. Becca is attracted to Liam, but Devin is still paying attention to her. Will they all reveal their true feelings, or will there be forced smiles as each person thinks they are helping the other person find happiness?

Becca is a famous model and Adrian a Facilities Manager at an Animal Rescue and on their Board of directors. Total opposites except for the love of their Mother.

Becca and Adria are twins who return to their family cabin for one last Christmas together there before selling it. They have car troubles, and their long-time family friend Devon comes along and gives them a ride to their cabin. They find someone staying at the cabin and determine he isn't dangerous so let him stay for the holiday. They are trying to do some of their family traditions for the holiday and have some strange activities happening.

Great start to a new Christmas themed women's fiction series by one of my favorite series authors, Hayley Summers. nice start

I am enjoying this book. Christmas memories are what the twins are all about. Recreating past celebrations, but their family time has been stifled as they are snowed in with a strainer and old friend. What will develop?

I read The Family Christmas Cabin (Home For Chridtmas series Book 1) by Hayley Summers through the Kindle Unlimited program. Good beginning and end with a little bit of a mystery. Quick enjoyable read.

This is a story about twin sisters going to their parents chin for Christmas and to make a decision re selling. The get caught in a snow storm Devin comes along helps them to the cabin and find someone staying there

Story did not develop at all and only led into next book. This should not be a stand alone. Need whole series.

Adria awoke and looking at the barren tree she was confused. The angel still sat on the top of the tree, but most of the ornaments were gone. She was upset and thought Devin and Liam pulled a nasty prank of her and Becca, her twin. But they didn't. It took a lot of hunting, but the squirrel family's hiding place in a wall was found and most of the ornaments put back. Devin went to get 2 of the squirrels who came back to get the ornaments again and hit his head. He had a large bump, but didn't seem to mind the pain too much after the attention he received from Becca.

Totally confused by Becca's and Devin's reactions to each other. Are they into each other, or just good friends? Poor Adria, taking a back seat all the time to Becca, who thrives on the attention she constantly gets and craves. Am hoping Devin lets Adria know one way or the other, if he is into wanting to extend his friendship with something more with her. Liam is drawn to Becca, but he is confused by how she's treating him as to whether he should pursue something more then friendship.

The guys found a box in the attic and mentioned it to the twins. They went to check it out after the guys looked up there for their scavenger hunt.
