Ice Breaker Cold Case #7

Buried Under Ice

Rate this book
Once she was falling in love with him, but now she hates him.

FBI Special Agent Oliver Foxx lied to Lark Lawson. Lied, used, seduced, and betrayed her. Four ultimate sins. The special agent got close to Lark just so that he could prove her twin brother was guilty of murder. Correction, multiple murders. The deceitful special agent believed that her brother was a serial killer, and now, because she let the wrong man get close, Lark’s brother is rotting in a jail cell. Her fault, but she’s going to fix things. Or die trying. Though she’d really, really prefer not to die…

It’s up to Lark to prove her brother’s innocence.

Lark knows her brother isn’t guilty. He is the only family she has left, and she is not about to watch him go down for crimes he never committed. So now she’s determined to hunt down the real killer. No one seems to believe that she’s up to the task, but when danger begins to stalk her, it’s clear that Lark has attracted someone’s attention. To a deadly degree.

She also has an annoying special agent suddenly shadowing her every move.

Oliver never planned to get emotionally involved with the passionate and too lovely Lark, but his best laid plans went straight to hell when she entered his world. Oliver is used to profiling killers. He doesn’t know how to win back the only woman who has ever touched his heart. Especially when he broke hers. But when it becomes apparent that Lark is in the crosshairs of a dangerous killer, there is no way that Oliver can stand on the sidelines.

He played dirty before, and he’ll do it again.

Losing Lark isn’t an option. Winning her back? Convincing her to love him again? And—most importantly—keeping her alive? Absolutely on Oliver’s agenda. He will do whatever it takes to keep her safe. The hunt for a killer has never been more personal for him. And the desire he feels for Lark? Never been stronger. He doesn’t just want her. He’s obsessed with getting her back.

But someone else is obsessed, too. And time may be running out for Lark…

The Ice Breakers are ready to solve another cold case, but things will get blazing hot for Lark and Oliver. Desire. Deception. Danger. You just can’t trust anyone these days, and Lark is about to discover that the world around her is full of lies. Love and hate…sometimes, it can be hard to tell the difference between these two emotions. Just like it can be hard to tell the difference between the guilty and the innocent.

Oh my heart!!! The beginning of this story crushed me as Lark and Oliver's past is revealed. As the reason takes center stage and each of them have their own goals moving forward, I ached for them both. And then the danger and suspense kicked in and I was caught up in the whirlwind of the mystery. And I loved every minute of it!

This is a real grip your Kindle read. I couldn't put it down. The characters are completely relatable, the storyline is scarily captivating, and the steam is hot enough to melt your e-reader. This is a series I will NEVER get tired of!

“Well, well, well. If it isn’t Special Agent Oliver Foxx. With two X’s because you’re an extra asshole.”

Confirmed, unless I’m totally reading it incorrectly so far, or the timeline is out: after throwing her to the wolves, the story picks up 5 months later: suddenly he’s back and all growly obsessed and protective 🧐 🤨where has he been while she lost her business, her home; while she flounders around trying to find some semblance of a decent life amid the violence and hate directed at her as a result of being branded the twin of a serial killer?🧐🤨
He just vanished like he never made him her world, listened to her show and tell him how much she loved him, all the while he’d been with her to gather evidence to put her brother in prison. Granted, through his pov we see how he’s fallen for her too but does he tell her he loves her? Does he at the bare minimum provide any form of support since he jailed her brother? How does Mr Big Shot FBI profiler not KNOW the fallout this kind of thing has on the families of alleged serial killers? Did the author mean to portray him in this light or is this an editing issue? 🤨 Either way he’s pissing me off and taking from my reading experience because his reactions to her are so well written but I can’t enjoy it because it doesn’t gel with him not checking in on her for months. He literally left her to face the music from the day her twin went to prison, the same day she told him she loved him. And while he acknowledges her love he doesn’t return the sentiment so excuse her for continuing to think he used her, didn’t catch feelings and then just went about his merry way. Until now🤨🧐

Beeg, 👆🏼run-on sentences much? Gawdawful sentence structure much? Neaten your half-cocked review🤨🧐

So Oliver was being all edgy pretending to be a sociopath and saying he was obsessed with lark but then when she was being harassed, attacked and assaulted for 6 months he wasn’t interested or invested in seeing how she was doing. He didn’t even notice that her business went bust and she moved house three times… not a very competent or loyal obsessed fbi agent.

Fr; he should have been abusing his position and badge to keep an eye on her… what did he think would happen after her twin brother was arrested as serial killer and she was all over the media because of it. He’s not a very smart profiler…..
i
Like;; possibly the worst fbi profiler I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading; not to mention that one of his subordinates was the the killer right under his nose for years…… ???

Very confused. This is not a typical good plot or fleshed out as most Cynthia Eden plots.

Like; the one thing that puts me off MMCs is them being incompetent at their job and claiming to be “obsessed” over Lark but then doing nothing to prove that whilst she’s in danger and pain and worried.
VERY CONFUSED CYNTHIA.

3.75 ⭐️

The premise for this was everything I was set to love.

Oliver is a detective who starts a relationship with Lark because he thinks her twin brother is a serial killer. He has feelings for her almost instantly but knows he can’t get anywhere lying to her, but doesn’t get a chance to come clean before her brother is arrested and it all comes to light.

The beginning of this was great! I loved the angst and Lark’s anger toward him. She believes her brother is innocent and will do whatever it takes to prove it.

I did like that she ignores Oliver for months and doesn’t give in to him quickly, but I always believe the angst could be longer and the grovel should take forever, so I don’t know if I’m a good judge of it feeling too short. 😂

I can’t pinpoint where it stopped being a five star read sometime in the middle. I think maybe when they started throwing in that Oliver came from a line of killers and that’s why he thinks like a monster. It seemed a little out of nowhere for me? That and some other things for some reason made me like it a bit less.

But I still really enjoyed it. There’s plenty of suspects, some action and tension, and finally a happy ending. It was good to satisfy my love of romance books and true crime!

It's been a while since I read a RS and I rather enjoyed this one, despite not liking Oliver. He's a manipulative, gaslighting user of the first degree and it took me a long while to get over how he betrayed Lark. I also wasn't overly fussed on her brother just disappearing into the ether. Why he didn't he get pay back and compensation for how he was framed for murders he didn't commit? The ending needed another chapter to sort out this huge plot hole, unless he's getting his own book further down the line, hence only 3.5 stars.

Buried Under Ice (Ice Breaker Cold Case Romance Book 7) by Cynthia Eden
The Ice Breakers is one of my favorite series by Cynthia, FBI Special Agent Oliver Foxx lied to Lark Lawson. He used her to build a case against her twin brother. He is also obsessed with her and hated to hurt her - but he is sure her brother Lane is a serial killer. There is deception, evil, suspense, lies, some laughs and tears, love/hate, danger, mystery, plenty of steam to keep my heart warm, and twist at the end that gets us to their HEA. I can't wait for Midas' story ICE COLD KISS.
Reasons I enjoyed this book:
Wonderful characters Great world building Romantic Action-packed Happily Ever After Tear-jerker Haunting Twisted Easy-to-read Witty Scary Entertaining Tragic Informative Unpredictable Page-turner Steamy.

This was... fine.

Oliver cozied up to Lark because her brother was Suspect Numero Uno in a string of serial killings where all the victims look like Lark. Only they fell in love with each other over the course of this, with him knowing he was lying and her not. She finds out when the FBI is arresting her brother for the murders.

Months later, Lark's life has been ruined by the accusations (while the general population think she knew what he was up to) and her brother remains in jail waiting to stand trial. She's certain he's innocent and that Oliver was wrong about him. She also has a burning anger for Oliver since she feels he played her (and slept with her) to make an arrest. Only Oliver wasn't acting about that. If anything he fell harder for her than she did for him, and he's spent however-many months (the book isn't super-clear about how much time passes between the arrest and the rest of the events that follow) trying to figure out how to get her back. Meanwhile, in Lark's mind, the real killer is out there and if that's the case, she's still in danger.

This one actually had some pretty decent twists and turns to it. I ended up enjoying the mystery more than the romance, which skidded on the edge of dark romance given Oliver's own obsession with Lark, which sort of rivals the serial killer's. I also enjoyed Lark's backstory and her relationship with her twin brother, Lane.

But in the end, there were parts of this that felt like a slog, instead of a tight, hard-to-put-down romance/mystery. I did really enjoy the banter with the supporting cast (especially Oliver, Memphis, and/or Midas) and would be willing to check out other books in the series.

Too depressing. I really didn’t like the mmc. He used the mfc to get to her brother, accuses her of horrid things and never apologised!

I didn’t enjoy this one. It’s way too depressing for me. At the beginning Oliver an FBI agent is in a fake relationship with Lark, as he suspects her twin brother of being a serial killer. He used Lark to get information on her brother. It fasts forwards to months later and Lark is determined to clear her brothers name, as she’s absolutely convinced of his innocence. Lark is living in a hovel, as she lost her house, and her florist business, she’s been threatened, had things put through her windows and her life is awful. It’s really hard to not blame Oliver even though he was only doing his job but he comes across as so arrogant and he flat out refuses to believe that he may be wrong. I couldn’t stand him! He never apologised to Lark for using her, he tells her wants her but never says he loves her till right near the end! All the way through the book he still doesn’t trust Lark even though he says he wants her forever.

It’s not very well written in places either. At one point a waitress is found to have falsified evidence against Lark’s brother yet Oliver does nothing about it. Oliver built his case and his profile of Lane based on incorrect information about their childhood, yet he does nothing about it! 😡😡😡 It wouldn’t be like that. The waitress tied Lane to the scene and he wasn’t there. He would have investigated more.

Then there’s Lark. I couldn’t figure out what I thought about Lark as the author doesn’t really write her character very well. I don’t feel like I know either of them any better than before I started the book. I’ve no clue about likes or dislikes and if they have any hobbies. I don’t believe that all of Lark’s close friends would have stopped speaking to her after Lane was arrested.

It was just to depressing for me in places and I thought Oliver was laughable as an FBI profiler.

Genuinely cannot stand this MMC. And the FMC is honestly a doormat.

"Her pain had been a living, breathing beast between them. All he’d wanted to do was pull her
into his arms. Hold her tight. Never, ever let anything or anyone else hurt her again.
And I will. I will stand between her and hell itself. Nothing will hurt her.
Not on his watch.
She’d already been hurt enough."

Yeah, she's been hurt! By him! You were the one causing the pain beast you moron. He's the one who keeps hurting her and emotionally trying to destroy her and bring her down CONSTANTLY. He ignores everything she says, any boundary she sets he blatantly acts as if she hasn't even spoken. Ew.

Things that frustrated me beyond belief:

Anyway, wouldn't recommend unless you enjoy spineless lady characters when it comes to accepting poor treatment from the MMC. And a condescending MMC who seems more worried about getting into her pants than redeeming himself - or being even slightly empathetic and self aware. Betrayal and Redemption story? Love it! Hard to do when the MMC doesn't particularly think he needs to redeem himself apparently, he just regrets the but otherwise he thinks it's not such a big deal!

BURIED UNDER ICE is the seventh instalment in Cynthia Eden’s contemporary, adult ICE BREAKER: COLD CASE romantic suspense series focusing on the men and women who work for Ice Breakers, an online team of crime solvers whose goal is to solve cold cases. This is FBI Agent Oliver Foxx, and florist Lark Lawson’s story line. BURIED UNDER ICE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual omniscient third person perspectives (Lark and Oliver) BURIED UNDER ICE follows in the wake of the arrest of Larks’s brother Lane. Five months earlier, FBI agent Oliver Foxx broke Lark Lawson’s heart. Oliver and the FBI believed Lane’s brother was a serial killer, and Lark became a pawn in Oliver’s quest. Fast forward to present day, wherein Lane has hired the team at Ice Breaker to prove her brother is innocent but within days Lane finds herself a target when the ongoing threats against her life become more personal and dark. Enter FBI Agent Oliver Foxx, and the man who vows to protect Lark with his life. What ensues is the acrimonious but rebuilding romance and relationship between Lark and Olive, and the potential fall out as the threats against Lark continue to grow.

The world building is complex and detailed. While the FBI, and the local Vegas Police believe they have a killer in custody, the team at Ice Breaker continue to search for the truth. As the incidents increase, law enforcement refuse to accept the possibility of another suspect, and Lark’s brother is targeted in prison.

The relationship between Lark and Oliver is a second chance romance. Months earlier OLiver destroyed Lark’s heart and her faith in humanity when her brother was arrested for a series of murders. Believing she was used by Oliver and the FBI, Lark is determined to prove her brother’s innocence but at every turn, Lark is a target by the people of Las Vegas, and the FBI. Oliver wants a second chance but Lark refuses to accept that she wasn’t played by the man she once loved. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful and questionable secondary and supporting characters including Lark’s brother Lane, numerous FBI agents and Ice Breaker investigators, as well as several potential suspects.

BURIED UNDER ICE is a story of betrayal and vengeance, obsession and madness, murder and mayhem, secrets and lies, forgiveness and love. The premise is intriguing and captivating; the romance is seductive ; the characters are determined, desperate, broken but healing.

I can't believe here it is 2024 and this is my first review. I so glad it's for an author that I just love. Her books always make me happy. She has some of the best heroes. Her heroines rock too.

I was really looking forward to Buried Under Ice. I couldn't wait to see what Oliver had done to Lark. I knew it was going to be a good story. I figured he had to do something really bad. Oh boy did he. I have to admit I was shocked at how badly it turned out for poor Oliver. For a minute there he had it all in the palm of his hand. A job he loved and a woman he was falling in love with. So why did he go and arrest her brother? The job of course. Can't be a good FBI agent and not do your job. Much can be said about Oliver but not being good at his job isn't one of them.

I love Lark she is so sweet, and she loves her bother unconditionally. Now she has reasons for that that's more than just family love and you'll learn all about that as the story goes on. I'd love to say more but I want you to learn all this on your own. It would ruin the story.

This story is a good one with so many twists and turns. You find yourself doubting what right in front of your face. Eden does a great job at making you follow along and she takes you on a crazy ride. I love Oliver and Lark together. They really work. And I get that she doesn't trust him totally at the moment but that doesn't stop them from loving each other.

You'll enjoy the story and the new characters that we've met. I know I'm wondering about them. So much to learn. I'm hoping they both get their own stories. Fingers crossed.

I absolutely love the Ice Breakers series and was so excited to read this book. Cynthia Eden never disappoints and this installment in the series is no different. But I do think things in this book are more intense than ever. The relationships between all of the characters are certainly complicated and there is a lot of hurt between the main characters. I was really rooting for Lark and Oliver to figure things out and be able to move on from what happened in the past and find a way to let themselves be happy with one another.

Oliver is so sure that Lark's twin brother is a serial killer that he was willing to do absolutely anything to prove it and put Lane away. Including hurting Lark in the process. That isn't what he set out to do and it hurt him pretty badly to be in the position where he felt like he had to, but it gave Lark some pretty good reasons to not want to have much to do with Oliver when he came back around. This was of course a recipe for a love story that is going to put you through it and that's exactly what Cynthia Eden has done here.

I laughed, I cried, I raged both with Oliver and with Lark. I was also continuously trying to guess what the truth was and what was really going on, what all of the answers were. Every time I thought I had made some progress and was close to the right answer, Cynthia Eden pulled the rug out from under me and have me guessing all over again. I strongly recommend this entire series, and while they can all be standalones, the characters are all intertwined in the books throughout the series because of this wonderful universe that Cynthia Eden has created. I received a free ARC copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review. All words and opinions are my own.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "BURIED UNDER ICE" I was thoroughly caught up in this story right from the start so much mystery, danger, suspense, threats, heartbreak, murders, desperate, broken, secrets, lies, forgiveness, obsession, vengeance, twists that keeps on the edge of your seat a page turner to the end.
FBI Special Agent Oliver Foxx broke Lark Lawson's heart when he & the FBI thought her twin brother Lane was arrested as a serial killer him putting him prison where he was a target while in there.
Lark went to the Ice Breakers to get their help to prove Lane's innocence especially after she was being targeted herself which seemed to be personal.
Lark hiring Ice Breakers to investigate the murders the killer decides up go after her Oliver Foxx her former boyfriend vows to protect her at any cost, the killer is impossible to find he's so good at keeping his identity hide.
I definitely recommend to get this riviting emotional rollercoaster ride story that you can't put down will Lark & Oliver get a HEA after what he did to Lane, will they save him from being targeted on prison, will they find the killer in time before he hurts Lark, it's a must read you absolutely can't miss reading Cynthia never disappoints I love her stories & this one was phenominally written with very interesting characters that pull you right into all the drama.

Buried Under Ice is the 7th book in the Ice Breakers Series by Cynthia Eden and quite possibly my favorite series of all time from this author. This one is all about FBI Special Agent Oliver Foxx and florist Lark Lawson and it is explosive to say the least. Without ruining or spoiling the enjoyment of this awesome read, suffice it to say that Lark’s twin brother is in prison for a crime she believes he didn’t commit and Agent Fox is the one who put him there. Oh boy! As with all of Ms. Eden’s story lines, there is suspense, drama, twists, turns and deception, and as always, there’s that emotional depth that Ms. Eden brings out in her characters. The story flows easily and quickly but intensely. I always find it hard to stop reading once I start because each chapter builds upon the next and I find myself not wanting to put it down. There’s always that well-developed emotional connection among her characters that never fails to bring me to tears at some point in the book. I have really enjoyed getting to know the characters in this Ice Breakers Series and I can't wait for Midas' story Ice Cold Kiss! I’m very grateful for the opportunity to read an advance copy of this book through NetGalley.

Buried Under Ice is an exciting second chance romance by Cynthia Eden. Being part of the Ice Breakers series it is also a suspenseful, full of danger story too. An Ice Breaker member is not one of the main characters but they are still supporting characters in thriller. Lark Lawson is willing to do anything to clear her brother’s name and get his release from prison as a serial killer. FBI Special Agent Oliver Foxx, her former boyfriend is the one to find the evidence against Lark’s brother.

Once Lark begins to mount an investigation then it is clear that a killer is after her. The same one who she believes framed her brother? This series has very good previous books but this one is one great read, from beginning to end. The dangerous killer is especially good at keeping his identity close to the chest so that it is difficult to solve. Many twisty surprises especially towards the end kept me reading until the conclusion. Exciting, nail biting, as well as swoon worthy.

An ARC of the book was provided by the publisher through NetGalley which I voluntarily chose to read and review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I’ve seen Cynthia Eden books for quite awhile, and even downloaded freebies to my TBR pile. It wasn’t until THIS book, Buried Under Ice (Ice Breaker Cold Case Romance Book 7), that I was grabbed at the right moment. It was that electric shock, that compelled me to pay for it, & download it. And read it right away.
Can’t explain it more than that.
But I’m so glad I did!!!
Every one of the initial tingles were fully realized.
A solid, intense story. A MFC that was betrayed in a way that would have broken her, if her twin brother didn’t need her so badly. Lark fell for Oliver completely, not realizing that he was building a case against her twin, Lane. Oliver never planned to fall so completely in love.
How would he mend the breach? Could he mend it? More importantly, could he keep Lark safe?
Plenty of twists & turns. And, even if you guess a couple, joining the actual ride is worth it.
You’ll have to read for yourself. This was my first Cynthia Eden read, so I wasn’t sure if she was a HEA gal. Now, I have to read the rest of the series, from book 1. The next story, #8, should be ready by the time I am. So, excuse me, I’ve got books to read. 😉

Although she has only known FBI Special Agent Oliver Foxx, for three months, Lark Lawson is in love. Should she tell him how she feels? His reaction, when she does, is not what she expected. Instead, she learns that their romance was all a ruse to investigate her twin brother, Lane. Lane has been arrested for murder and not just one murder, but three. It has always been just the two of them since they were teens and there is no way her brother would commit such heinous acts. She has lost everything, her business, her home, her safety, but she can’t lose Lane too. Desperate for help, she contacts the Ice Breakers, a cold case unit, for help. Oliver never thought he could feel this way about a woman, until Lark. As her brother is attacked in prison and she is threatened, can Oliver keep her safe or will the Bridal Killer claim one more victim? Suspense, strong characters and witty dialog make this a fast paced read. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (paytonpuppy)

One of the best books I've read this year, Cynthia Eden is the queen of romantic suspense.

With the horrific past they were dealt Lark Lawson would do anything to protect her twin brother, so when he's arrested for several murders by the man she's falling in love with, Lark is pulled in two different directions. While she does everything she can to prove her brother's innocence it seems FBI Special Agent Oliver Foxx is so certain he's right about his arrest that he may be missing details that are right in front of him.

It isn't long before Lark and Oliver don't know who to trust, including each other. When they realize Lark has caught the eye of the murderer even the FBI's finest may not be able to save her.

Just when you think you know who the killer is, think again! This book will keep you guessing to the end. Exceptional writing with emotionally engaging characters and exciting plot twists. I couldn't put it down.

I received an ARC and freely offer this review.

This is the seventh book in the Icebreaker world and though this story isn't about one of the members of the team they are employed by one of the main characters. Lark Lawson had her heart broken when the man she loved FBI Special Agent Oliver Foxx used her to get close to her twin brother Lane and had him arrested as a serial killer something Lark knows he isn't So now she has employed Icebreakers to prove his innocence the only problem is that has put her in the crosshairs of a killer the man she believes is the real serial killer that framed her brother. As danger threatens her Oliver knows he can't allow the woman he loves to be in danger and will do whatever he needs to keep her safe even if she may never forgive him. As danger closes in and the FBI target Lark can Oliver keep her safe and can she prove her brothers innocence This is a fast paced second chance romance that has plenty of action and suspense to keep you engaged until the last page

Great book

I really liked this book. I was a little worried as I’m not a fan of enemies to lovers trope where they are enemies for the first half of the book. Luckily, her antagonism towards him for locking up her brother doesn’t last that long and I get to see their relationship grow stronger. They need to figure out if her brother is the serial killer and if not, who is it? Lots of twists and turns and had me guessing up until the end.
I really liked Lark and Oliver together. He is so infatuated with her and will do anything for her and to protect her. She is in love with him even though she wants to hate him for locking up her brother. They make a good match and I like how strong she is. I never saw her once as a victim. She can take care of herself. They have hot chemistry and quite a few steamy moments.
I recommend this book and can see me reading it again. I can’t wait for Midas’s story next.

I have read some books in this series and I must say, the plot is quite unpredictable. There's a perfect amount of thrill, suspense and mystery and some funny and romantic situations balance out the tense atmosphere well. Larke & Oliver's connection was quite palpable and it was obvious that they loved each other deeply. I liked how despite being mad at each other, they still cared about each other. Larke was a good character, all she wanted was to save her brother whom she knew was innocent and Oliver was the cause of him being put behind the bars. Oliver did grovel but it wasn't enough for me tbh. He kept doubting Larke and didn't trust her all throughout the book. But still I liked him too much to hate him lol because he wanted Larke to be safe above it all. Overall, this was an engaging and easy read but I wish the relationship development of Larke & Oliver was handled a bit better, which is why this was a 3.5 star read for me.

This one was good, not a favorite, though. There weren't a whole lot of "Ice Breakers" in it, to be honest. Eden is one of those authors that I have read almost everything she has written, which is quite a lot. But I do feel like sometimes I'm reading the same book over and over. Some books are great and keep me intrigued. Books like this one feel like the typical cut and dry storyline. We had the typical heroine in the sights of an obsessed killer and the hero who says he isn't good for her because of his past. We had multiple suspects, and the big surprise reveal of "who actually done it." I got really tired of reading "executive assistant director...", can't we just say EAD or director or even just the name after the first introduction of who the guy was? It was just a mouthful to read so many times....It was a good book; just not one I'll categorize as unforgettable.

He did a bad, bad thing...

Well, he did many bad things, mainly to Lark Lawson. Oliver Foxx, in the name of his "job" and getting close to Lark so he could track down her brother, he did all the bad things to Lark.
Can Oliver make up for using and seducing Lark and then imprisioning her brother, keep her safe from a stalker (cuz in Eden's world they are everywhere). Lark is bent on getting her brother out of prison. She has trust issues and let down her guard to let Oliver in in three months and was MAJORLY burned by Oliver.

Lark, hands down is a Bad A. She can take care of herself and rescue her own brother, thank you very much. Does Oliver do his job? But does Oliver properly make amends? Does he grovel approprioately? Hmm. He totally needed to grovel a hell of a lot more.
Recommend.

I volunteered to read and review an advanced readers copy through Net Galley of Buried under Ice . I really enjoyed reading this suspense romance.
It's full of suspense and intrigue and action packed . Lark Lawson was distraught when her twin brother was arrested for killing multiple women .She was devastated when she realized FBI Special agent Oliver Foxx the man she fell inlove was incharge on the case . She refuses to see him . Oliver knows he made a huge mistake with Lark . Lark contacts the Ice Breakers to help her clear her brother . She finds herself in danger as the true killer closes in Oliver refuses to leave her side as things escalate . Lark has to decide if she can trust Oliver again . This story is full of twists and turns . A very entertaining story . I highly recommend taking the time to read .
