With two of her children safe, Jean moves toward Florida, where Scout and Everett have formed an uneasy alliance in book 2 of Echoes of the End.

A new blend of metals was promised to be stronger and last longer than traditional steel ever could - until it started breaking down into hyper-combustible byproducts.

Thousands of miles of pipelines go up in an instant, their chain reactions setting of fires that destroy cities, crumble buildings and reduce the civilized world to ash.

As the survivors pick through the ruins of their world, one mother will stop at nothing to rescue her children - even if that means traversing the country to find them.

Meanwhile, deep in the Everglades, protected from the destruction ravaging the world by his guilt and penance, one man will hold the salvation of a young girl in the palm of his hand.

The dystopian duo of master authors Mike Kraus and Justin Bell's second book in their Echoes Of The End series, Ignition, extends into the dangerous realities of a world where no-one is safe and survival's far from guaranteed.

Having saved two of her children Holly and Keegan from the devastating explosions
in Maine, Mom Jean Fuller takes them all South towards the US Panhandle State, hoping to be reunited with more of the family there.
Meanwhile Dad Marcus Fuller and young daughter Scout are among passengers in a plane that crashes suddenly and terrifyingly.
Who's hiding out in the Everglades?
Who doesn't make it to safety?

A riveting post-Apocalyptic thriller that's guaranteed to keep you on the edge of your seat as you cheer on the intrepid survivors and engage with their struggles for survival.

As with the first book, the writing and editing were good. I'm still struggling with why this Poly-Syn would cause such catastrophe everywhere at the same time. So far no explanation with that. I still have issues connecting with the characters. Jacob is a bit better, especially since he now has Frenchie, and I am curious how the odd "Neutral Territory" is going to pan out. Jean and her determination to go from Maine to Florida still puzzles me-would you not assume your family there would come north? (An yes she still thinks her husband is alive). Holly is stepping up and more interesting as is crusty Everett who was worth a star.

It is obvious that these stories are written for childre Having skipped over the last half of the second book because I was getting bored.
I don't think i'm going to complete the series. There are too many escapades the characters go through that are beginning to be same as the last that I just want them to find each other and get it over with.

Survivors on the move

west Virginia is a great place to hide from a disaster, some friendly people are left, and a few meth labs. the Florida everglades have t th e individuals and the smugglers. the cities are to be escaped from at all costs. never hide in a FEMA camp and hope it can last. Take care of yourself.

A powerful second book

This is a must read after the first Echoes of the End novel. Ignition provides the continuing characters efforts to find each other and as much survival stress as you'd expect. The authors excelled again!

Ignition book two

So far, the series is really good. I can see that the series is going to be an interesting story. I like the way it is centered around family pulling together. Hopefully all the family gets back together.

OK. Seems the story is a good read however, takes some effort to keep reading. Still worth reading. On to the next book. Sad in some ways but life is that way.
