It’s general, there are zero actual stories and it’s all based on studies and all it says is that rules vary depending on the institution. It was stupid and baseless. Even the unofficial rules weren’t that good. I’ve never been in prison but I have a friend who has been and I received better information from him on the unofficial rules of prison just from him occasionally bringing it up and telling me(maybe 15-30 minutes total over several different conversations) how to survive there than from this entire book. His advice was also better and more specific than the author was. I couldn’t even get beyond 70% before I completely lost interest and quit reading because I just couldn’t finish it. I’d skip this.
