This book is for everyone that wants to get started understanding their cardiovascular system in general as well as prevent and delay heart disease. I loved that’s its short and on point and includes several Q&A sections. Great for someone who got a less favorable medical report and wants to learn more.

An excellent guide to understanding heart disease. It seems to me it is information everyone should know, preferably 20 years before you have heart disease. It's easy reading and very up to date with the most recent research.

Informative and easy to understand. The formatting did sometimes lead my eyes to places that were not next in the text, but ultimately it gave easily digestible tidbits to help understand heart health and all the things its connected to, and how to improve yours.

I’d recommend it to any heart patient. It doesn’t always stay focused and I think he gives some topics (ie, valve disease) short shrift. But it’s a good quick-access guide to some basic, important info about heart disease.

This book in simple to understand language reviews how the heart works, risk factors for heart disease, ways to reduce risk, and a review of current medications. I found it very informative and I will refer to it often going forward.

Audiobook confirms this'd be a useful book to annotate and stick permanently on the shelf. When I re-read it, I'll pick up another little bit. As it is, maybe I picked up 1% of what he delivered.
