Once again, Anne's sense of place -- Milwaukee -- puts readers right in the action, and her timing is pitch-perfect, developing characters, making us care about them, building suspense until you keep turning pages because you can't put BURIED SECRETS down! This is the hallmark of a gifted writer of the genre, and I'm looking forward to her next title!

If you enjoy mysteries with a bit of love and a lot of wonderment, you will enjoy this book. So well written that it kept me wondering until the end.
