Carina:

I never took an interest in the family business…

… until it took an interest in me.

Now, it threatens my freedom, my family, and my life.

I’m on the run and only one man can save me.

Jameson:

I gave up the life of a mafia boss years ago.

I never wanted back in. Never wanted more than my brother’s in Forever Midnight.

I have a debt to pay, but how far am I willing to go to repay that debt?

I know in my soul, to protect Carina, I’ll go as far as it takes.

Please note the following story is a standalone story in the Forever Midnight MC series. Each story can standalone and have a HEA, but will give a better understanding of the characters and be more enjoyable if read in order.

Due to mature content and themes, this series is intended for readers 18 and older. It contains scenes that may be disturbing to some readers, and includes drug use, violence, and frequent ‘F-bombs’.

**Jameson’s Debt was briefly published previously as a short story. This is a new extended story with a slightly different plot and extended scenes.

Disappointed...

It had a great start!! But that lasted for only through the prologue. Once we hit chapter one, it was downhill to smut land. The entire book is filled with only sex, for like one day/night, he then calls her a whore when he thinks she played him - to which he never apologized for, and then she’s running back to NY. The whole scary bad man is dealt with too fast, and a great plotline was wasted. The epilogue wasn’t even an epilogue! It's the same freaking day as the ending of the book.

I wished Jameson had a better story and that we could have seen more of Rex. Overall, Jameson was ripped off, and in all honestly, I wasn't down for his bedroom scenes either.

One more thing, it wasn’t Caleb’s wife who put Dolmilo behind bars. It was Bono’s finance, and that was from book 3, not 2! Someone should have checked that error better.

The writing is terrible, yet again. Plot was good but was spoilt by the writing.

It’s 144 pages long, but it’s double spaced between the lines, and there’s huge gaps at the end of paragraphs and chapters. I would say it’s more like 100 pages. IT’S TOO SHORT! It’s so annoying to read a book with that many spaces in. The plot while it sounded really good, wasn’t. We’re supposed to believe that Carina has to flee for her safety halfway round the world and tries to jump on Jameson (Who is a complete stranger to her!) when they get to safety??? 🤔

Carina’s brother is in the mafia. When a dangerous mafia man decides that Carina will be his, she has to flee to America. Jameson who used to be in the mafia but is now in the Mc, to repay a debt agrees to keep Carina safe. As soon as they meet sparks fly between them, but Jameson has no interest in anything connected to the mafia. That resolve doesn’t last and they’re soon having endless, boring s*x, then all of a sudden they’re madly in love. 😱 HOW??? One minute Jameson wants nothing to do with Carina, then he loves her. Bizarre.

There’s a tiny tiny bit of danger, blink and you’ll miss it, and that’s it. That’s all I can say. IT COULD HAVE/SHOULD HAVE BEEN BRILLIANT BUT ISN’T!

Way too many mistakes and too short. No idea if Carina ever worked, or what Jameson works at. What are they both like? What do they like doing? Reading, etc. I don’t feel like I know them any better at the end of the book.

Nope.

First things first; I love the cover of this book!
Jameson’s debt is the fourth book in the ‘’forever midnight MC’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline action packed. Jameson has tried his best to leave his mafia family/past behind. When his brother calls in a debt, Jameson finds himself protecting two young women. When Carina’s life gets put into danger, she is sent to America to hide out. What she doesn’t expect is to find love with her protector.
The chemistry between Jameson and Carina is clear to see and I liked them together.
I loved that Jameson was able to handle the Xander situation.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.

The first 3 books I devoured in rapid succession, this book took me weeks and it’s only like 170 some odd pages. Was not nearly as catching as the others nor was the plot as good. This is meant to be a spicy series yet only the last 10 pages of that had spice. Overall I still love the characters just going from the other books to this was a total let down for me.

From the previous book I was expecting more from Jameson's back story and the debt he owed. This kind of fell flat to me. There were some good parts which is why the score isn't any lower but this had so much potential to merge the mafia world with the MC world and it just didn't hit the spot for me unfortunately
