Complicated, thick, poorly designed Biblical text (200 BC). And it's so hard to read, but sometimes it's fun and wild.
And of course the "stories" are also from the Sumerian " The Epic of Gilgamesh" (2000 BC) the oldest book written.
1 - These Books of Enoch were censored out or "Lost" by Christians and Jews for almost 2000 years and then "Found" again in the 1940s, in the Palestine desert - "The Dead Sea Scrolls."
2 - Books of Enoch has ALWAYS been part of the Biblical canon used by the Ethiopian Jewish community Beta Israel, as well as the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church.
3 - In Book 1 - Enoch was the father of Methuselah and the great-grandfather of Noah. The Book of Enoch contains unique material on the origins of demons and Nephilim, why some angels fell from heaven, an explanation of why the Genesis flood was morally necessary, and a prophetic exposition of the thousand-year reign of the Messiah to come - Jesus Christ.
4 - The fallen angels were "The Watchers" and supposedly they wander the earth to this day as cursed souls tormenting humans. Seven Archangels were created to control the fallen angels. Uriel and Raphael bring Enoch to the center of the earth where they show him the "Tree of Life."
5 - In Book 3 -Enoch goes on celestial ventures with a Rabbi in "Ezekiel's Chariot" ( UFOs?) having the astronomy of the earth and our galaxy explained to him. This Book is foundational text for the Kabbalah Jewish mysticism.
6 - Enoch doesn't die - he ascends / transforms in to Metatron.
7 - Metatron awaits Judgment Day and then he will weep for us.
