This is absolutely one of the most delightful and engaging YA series I've read in YEARS!! I have enjoyed each book more than the previous one, and this final installment was the best one!

Aggie is the flawed, clumsy, awkward, nerdy FMC that every other YA series tries to be. But I have loved getting to know Aggie! Becoming a queen, learning how to be strong, but still being so vulnerable inside.

***SPOILERS FROM HERE FORWARD!!!!***

There are so many sweet moments that really flesh out these characters and make them so real and relatable. Like the first time she and Deuce kissed! (Also, I've been pulling for them to get together since she was with Jack!!) Oh be still my heart!

My favorite moment was the night before the wedding when she's nervous and anxious and twists the lock 529 times...... aaaaaaaaaaand then Mina knocks on the door, lol. I felt Aggie's frustration and fear in that moment, it was PALPABLE!!! Also the descriptive language in this book is BEAUTIFUL!! At one point he describes her as a "confectionary phoenix!" (It makes sense in the moment!! lol)

The characters all grew and changed and had very satisfying character arcs... and some endings...

This was SUCH a satisfying ending!! It was LOTR-esque and I LOVED IT!!

Review: King of Clubs by J. Gabriel Gates
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

An epic conclusion to a truly unforgettable series! King of Clubs is packed with action, twists, emotional revelations, and standout character arcs that kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. This installment is both plot-driven and deeply character-driven, and it absolutely delivers.

I laughed, I cried, and I’m still recovering from that ending. Jack—my beautifully broken, morally gray hero—absolutely wrecked me. “Do you believe in me yet?” That line lives in my head rent-free.

The world-building in this series is phenomenal, the writing is sharp, and the magic system is unique and well developed. I’m sad to say goodbye to these characters, but I’m also incredibly satisfied with how everything wrapped up. If you’re a fan of young adult urban fantasy with grit, heart, and a touch of mythology, this series is a must-read.

Highly, highly recommend the Luck Gods series!

I bought this as an ebook.

Genre: Fantasy, YA Fantasy, Urban Fantasy
Language: A little bit of swearing
Spice Level: Nothing is on the page but sleeping around is mentioned
Magic System: A+

This series is a fast and furious ride through an alternate world of luck gods and other fae creatures. The suits are like gangs and want control of luck to suit their purposes (hope you liked the pun there).

I was swept into this series. I feel Adults will like it as much as YA readers. The characters are a mix of teens and adults—who all have an adgenda.

It's rollicking, sit on the edge of your seat fun.

So, go ahead and pick up the entire series.

Happy reading!

This is the finale you want. This is the end game. Final Boss. The DISCARD PILE is at an all time high! Get ready to be decimated, be in awe, more twists and reveals. You try to predict how Aggie will solve this whole situation but the way the road is paved it can go in so many ways but none of those are the ones it goes. Ultimately, we go back to basics while trying to kill a luck deity.
I still am recuperating from the ending. Sacrifices, loving relationships rekindled. Definitely one of my Roman Empire series.
Gut punching at times!
JUST READ THE WHOLE SERIES, YOU WON'T REGRET IT.

I have more thoughts but I stayed up to finish this and my brain needs rest.

This was a wonderful conclusion to a series I hold quite close to my heart. I laughed, I cried, I smiled. I couldn’t put this book down.

This book was a great conclusion to the Luck Gods series! It was exciting and definitely had a satisfying ending. I was so sad when it ended knowing we wouldn’t get any more from the characters I’ve grown to love!

Not the ending I expected but it all came together

I was worried in the last book about how things would play out. I must say that this was a surprise but in a good way. I’m in love with this series

an unexpected ending

I enjoyed the whole series and it was an intense ending. I did like most of the characters and was sad to see one go. The ending does leave it open to another series so maybe would be very interesting. I do recommend this series.

The book was good, there were a lot of grammatical errors in this book and it really took me out of it. It almost felt as if this book was rushed when it came to writing. I like how it ended and I am glad I went on this journey.
