My boss may be a cybersecurity billionaire, but I’m the biggest secret he has to keep safe.
I should have swam home. But abandoning my alphahole boss on a business trip would’ve surely popped up on my annual review.
Instead, I’m standing here in his office saying impossible words.
Matthew, I’m pregnant.
Evidently, one raging storm plus one motel bed equals two pink lines. God, I hate math.
But I have a bigger problem to solve.
To save face, I lie to my family and tell them that my baby daddy is my fiancé. Now I have to survive my sister’s wedding with Mr. Broody Billionaire by my side.
Maybe it’s the hormones, But I can’t stop admiring his chiseled chest and abs when he’s not looking.
And the way his hands glide down my body tells me he’s been sneaking peeks, too.
Matthew and I are the perfect fake couple. I’m not even sure what’s real and what’s not anymore.
This is the first time I've read a book from Sydney Hollow and it won't be my last. I love the way she created this world of a Billionaire (Matthew) and his Assistant (Lily - not really assistant). How they originally get together is brilliant. And the revelation that Lily has and the need for a fake fiance was written incredibly well.
Normally you read these stories that show the man needing a fake fiance and he uses a young woman to do it. Sydney Hollow flipped this story on its head. Lily has money. She doesn't need Matthew and his billions. But she needs a fiance to appease her parents and upstage her sister at her upcoming wedding.
The banter between Lily and her family is so funny. Her parents are adorable and bring Matthew into the fold with no questions asked. Her sister's fiance throws a big wrench into the plans. God I loved that story.
I love it also when couples realize they were always meant for each other. Matthew and Lily find out that a one-night-stand may be the key to a future together.
I wish I could give this more than 5 stars!!!.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is an enjoyable fake fiance romance that becomes real, There is drama, secrets, and defined MCs who have chemistry. I liked this entertaining book. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review.
