Great book for someone who is just beginning to teach chair yoga or for someone who would like to begin to practice chair yoga. I have been teaching chair yoga for over 10 years. Given my experience most of the book was a good review of what I have learned. However, I did get a few new moves to bring into the class. Most of my classes are a combination of seated and standing poses. With the content of this book I was able to design fully seated classes which will benefit some of my participants. Always open to learning more from others who teach what I teach (though none of my participants will do a backbend over the chair! not sure I would try it!).

learning yoga simply

This book gives very simple and precise instructions into the art of yoga. Very easy to follow and there are different levels, so you can find what is comfortable for you. I found it extremely helpful. There are so many different positions so you can choose the ones that best fit your own need. I have been a yoga fan and participant for many years and this book introduced many new positions. I would recommend it to anyone interested in learning yoga and practicing at home.

very good guide and helpful

Wow !! I really enjoy read this book, I love the combination between pictures and exercise steps . This book is very useful for seniors even with early age. As CNA I can tell that is all we need for be active in us ages . Thankfully for sharing this books .

Poses

I love the poses that is displayed. It's concise and easily to understand. I think that it will be a great choice to keep me interested.
